Marty gives incredible lessons. I’m still pretty much a beginner I also use Shane Simpson’s videos as well. Marty’s jam on the song is a sight to behold. One day when I grow up I’ll be able to do that as well!🎉
Thank you good work. In 90s my friends played the song o Jimmi Hendrix, but there was no internet, they had to learn it by listening. Even drummer he drummed like jazz drummers.
Once again! Awesome Marty! You make the guitar FUN. Hendrix said music is an expression of the soul. Beautiful brother. Easy to get along with, obviously. "Good people"... Play on! Play on!.... "More Cowbell!!" Ha ha ha. Luv ya bro!
Thought this was an odd choice at first as it is mostly driven by the organ, but I just adore that A Dorian, slightly jazzy solo that you put to this. Absolutely brilliant. A lot of records by US 60s artists from the psychedelic era seem to use the Dorian scale a lot. 😀
Marty you have to get the Re Mastered CD, the liner notes explain why previous versions were flat but the CORRECT pitch is in Natural Tuning. The pitch correction on the Re Mastered CD's makes a huge difference.
Oh great teacher of the Guitar I have few tutorial requests 1. Nobody knows you when you're down and out acoustic 2. Simple twist of fate 3. Winter bird 4. More acoustic blues songs 🙏
Great video Marty! I've got all the chords from this lesson learnt but I'm quite an amateur at jamming. Could you maybe do a video about how you do it? It would be much appreciated!
Hey Marty, brilliant as always, as your on the SG, and I know you have already done loads of AC/DC recently 😁 but any chance u could do a breakdown of 'Ride on' cheers
Suggestion! Mouthful of Cavites or Pull by Blind Melon, if you can? It's hard to find tutorials on their other songs. They have so many amazing songs though, it's pretty surprising there aren't very many here on UA-cam apart from a few No Rain tutorials as well as Change.
Only if he does The End with it first! 😀 Yes....they were all separate parts with the three Beatles taking turns with each riff, but I believe it can be all played successfully by one guitarist.
Marty Question . Are you Down Tuned a half step or 3/4 Down Step .. I know Jim said it was just a hair above a D Tuning .. B7 leave that first Fret alone untill the end of the song .
So, I don’t believe you will read this but it would be cool if you could make a lesson on Van Halen - Without a Net It has a lot of good techniques I and others would love to learn to increase our skill, and give Eddie a proper send off by learning something made to his soul. Thanks, you are the best.
Marty can you please do Falling inside the black by skillet? My girlfriend absolutely loves that song and there aren't any good tutorials anywhere. I only trust you for my lessons 😅
on the original record it is (almost) a half step down because of a technical problem (the reel at the end of the recording was too heavy and it slowed the tape) and it has been corrected by Bruce Botnick on recent remastering.
NEED some more doors , peace frog has a great solo!
Broke my finger 7 weeks ago. Finally back in it. Time to learn again with my man Marty!
Wishing you the best recoveries, keep rocking! ⚡🤟🏻
nobody ever did "The End" - be the first :-)
Good idea
Why not a slide lesson with Unhappy Girl, Summers Almost Gone oorrr End of the Night... be the first :-D
And the title should be "this is end!, beautiful friend"
"The end of our elaborate plans"
Also you should do Astronomy Domine by Pink Floyd
That jam was the most inspired, best playing I've heard from you yet. Clearly you love this song as much as so many others of us.
Marty you've gotta do more of The Doors
That solo is Bonkers!! I will be here for a bit. Great lesson. Robby Krieger is incredible.
Love that cycle chord progression at the top, it's so classic. Great lesson!
We need more doors! Thanks Marty for your time and effort.
I just come back here to watch the jam break sometimes lol. So epic. The Doors are my favorite band.

My boi Marty said Christmas comin' a bit early this year. Thank you guitar guru!
Excellent tutorial Marty....thanks!
I especially enjoyed the pace of the lesson as well as the extended jam.
Thanks!
Marty gives incredible lessons. I’m still pretty much a beginner I also use Shane Simpson’s videos as well. Marty’s jam on the song is a sight to behold. One day when I grow up I’ll be able to do that as well!🎉
Marty shows more than notes, he shares the groove as well♡
What a great lesson Marty, many thanks. And the solo was the best - just awesome.
Man I just woke up and when I checked my phone UA-cam was open, God works in mysterious ways
also you woke this morning and you get yourself a beer ?
Been watching your videos since 2015. Your growth has been amazing Marty. I've grown too. Thanks to you. Keep the good stuff coming man ❤
You literally read my mind by doing this tutorial
Lol
Thank you good work. In 90s my friends played the song o Jimmi Hendrix, but there was no internet, they had to learn it by listening. Even drummer he drummed like jazz drummers.
MARTY NEVER DISSAPOINTS !!! Cornwall blank - America !!! If you can!! I can’t seem to find anybody who’s taught the song let alone play a cover of it
YESSS!!! MORE DOORS MARTY!!!! PEACE FROG, TOUCH ME, LOVE ME TWO TIMES, MAGGIE M’GILL, LIGHT MY FIRE SOLO, THE END??? The possibilities are endless.
Kind of a smoky, jazzy feel to it just listening to the guitar part. Awesome, Doors are like my top 5.
Once again! Awesome Marty! You make the guitar FUN. Hendrix said music is an expression of the soul. Beautiful brother. Easy to get along with, obviously. "Good people"... Play on! Play on!.... "More Cowbell!!" Ha ha ha. Luv ya bro!
This is so awesome! The tone is spot on too. Rock on Marty!🤘🏽
So good Marty 😊
Thank you for all you do!

Only Robbie could have explained it better.
2.53 Million subscribers can't be wrong.
thank you marty, have a happy and prosperous new year.
Others have said it but more doors!!! The end, peace frog, waiting for the sun and like so many more

Hey Marty, thank you for the Light My Fire guitar lesson. Really appreciate it!
Marty you have to get the Re Mastered CD, the liner notes explain why previous versions were flat but the CORRECT pitch is in Natural Tuning. The pitch correction on the Re Mastered CD's makes a huge difference.
Oh great teacher of the Guitar I have few tutorial requests

Another great video! Definitely need more Doors Marty - Rock on!!! 🤘🎸
Nice SG, Marty. And you play it well, boss!
Very, very nice Marty!!!
I was literally talking about this happening yesterday, there's a session live somewhere where Robby works Eleanor Rigby into his solo, awesome 😍😍
Literaly my favorite tune marty!!! 🥰🥰🥰 The Doors Rocks! 😎🤘
I'll second that
Ya me too for sure, the only thing is that it is the doors rock, not rocks
I don’t want to be one of those people but it is singular because the doors are one singular group
@@andrewhale7604 But if it is singular then "rocks" is right
@@kalle3879 nope, think about it. If I said I rock, then it Would be singular Because I am singular
Marty I was wondering if you could do more Beginner Guitarist tutorials. I would love it
Just great, and with some sneaky theory! Thanks Marty 😎
Come on baby light my fire 🔥
Great song bro . I am your biggest fan. Keep rocking.

Suggestion! Mouthful of Cavites or Pull by Blind Melon, if you can? It's hard to find tutorials on their other songs. They have so many amazing songs though, it's pretty surprising there aren't very many here on UA-cam apart from a few No Rain tutorials as well as Change.
Nice one Marty. Additionally, the last chorus they do is F C D
Great lesson! Can you do "Her Majesty" by The Beatles next?
Only if he does The End with it first! 😀 Yes....they were all separate parts with the three Beatles taking turns with each riff, but I believe it can be all played successfully by one guitarist.
GURU-VEEEEEEE!!!!!
I've been waiting for this!
Nice lesson!

Question .

It has a lot of good techniques I and others would love to learn to increase our skill, and give Eddie a proper send off by learning something made to his soul. Thanks, you are the best.
Hey Marty, just wondering if you could do a sticky fingers song?
This is probably their best song, Robbie is such a genius with writing this tune! Thank you for this!
Riders on the storm?
Most likely. Riders On The Storm is still astonishing
I prefer Riders
Marty can you please do Falling inside the black by skillet? My girlfriend absolutely loves that song and there aren't any good tutorials anywhere. I only trust you for my lessons 😅
Super nice, thank you!
