Prevent pipes from freezing and thaw frozen pipes safely using "Hot Hands!"

How I used "Hot Hands" to thaw a frozen water spigot and keep it thawed. As a note, I purchased the hand and body hot hands because they can last up to 18 hours.

I bought some hot hands for this very things a few days ago. I'm in Central Texas. I also stuff a small hand towel in there to add a bit of insulation. I'm hoping this works since we'll be getting some low-teen temps tomorrow night
