I don't really get into combat, but I do admit, I do see the appeal to using small grid, since it is much cheaper to make, and easier to maneuver if made well enough. Though large ships obviously are considerably better in general
If you ever flown a crazy agile fighter against any larger ship its kinda amazing how well you can do dodging fire its a lotta fun. Recommend it highly. Plus theyre easy to mass produce and expendable@mastere6115

i love to play with the Programmable Block and make my own fleet of ships and who does stuff automatically. some ships work purely by sensors and the gps systems, some need a Programmable Block too. i am always in a mining guild. we are normally deep in space and mining resources. we use a big satellite network to communicating silently and undetected. there are always to many griefer and trolls on the server, so we trust no body. we have a fleet of disposable transporter, if some one thinks they need to destroy it and if some one think we dont know who you are, we know who you are if you touch our stuff. usually the ship reports if it is damaged and by who it is damaged. also only a small part of the code runs on the ship it only sends back its coordinates and other usefull data and we send from the command center the control commands. so if you would get access to the code on it, it is useless for you it tells you nothing. ^^ we know what we are doing and our broadcasting satellite network protect us. we are everywhere and nowhere ^^
Deam if youre in a xbox SE server i can join? Like its souds like the coolest thing i ever heard, of course the only thing i need Is to buy the game butt deam. Even with all the videos about satelites networks and drone ships i see still never think that can be posible.
@@franciscobelen1751 i am not the server owner. i have no idea if it is activated. the only thing i know is, the server runs on private hardware, a 10 year old hp proliant dual cpu sverver with 2 xeon cpus. i have no idea what he has done in the background. the only thing i can say for sure is we have 300ms speed and a sim time of 0.3 to 0.5 and no mods.
Heh, if one railgun shot cripples your ship, then you didn't build it right. Once participated in a server battle where the main weapon of the day was railguns and I was flying the ship that would not die. Yeah it had holes in it everywhere, the main forward drive was gone, and over half the armor was long since vaporized along with the main reactor. But the ship had a few smaller backup reactors, and enough batteries still to run what weapons and thrusters I still had left for hours. Was only finally 'neutralized' with five or so minutes left in the battle when they took out the last of my railguns (had 4 left before that out of a total of the 10 allowed per ship), they didn't allow me to go for a ramming maneuver with my remaining hunk of flying scrap.

@fgchannel16 ahh, so the games still mostly them just pumping out DLC these days? Last update I remember seeing them add were some things that were very eerily similar to some molded stuff ages ago. And those mods stopped working/weren't around anymore last I saw and heard lol. Been a couple or more years since I've looked at the game since the first couple community events where they asked the community to make them stuff basically lol. Either way, love what people do with the game, just imo is hard to get back into it with how the devs do things at times.
Yeah understandable the devs love pushing out dlcs without working on the game issues themselves, I ran into some the official server admins once and they weren't great people either, the game is generally a great game but lacks the attention it really needs
@@fgchannel16 I think the ONLY thing that keeps making me wanna play it, is just the COMMUNITY itself, because while it still has issues that have been a round since pre-full release, people just...somehow make it look fun none-the-less, and it's just sad, because I feel watching, playing, those people could have MORE fun, if the devs stopped draining the game like a cash cow, and ACTUALLY went at the issues the game has, rather than some minor issues here and there, but then dlc dlc, minor update, dlc... love the community, but, as someone who played it since, god, what was it? alpha? beta? when it first came out playable, it just... hasn't...FULLY changed all that much after planets really... community was the only thing holding me around, with fun builds, mods, etc. but now if I go to the workshop, most of what interests me, just... requires DLC... so many ships use DLC, and I REALLY do NOT wanna cave in to that crap...
