A new Space Engineers racing/crashing montage is in the works as we speak, going to try to make a few more edits and highlighted clips in the new video, didn't know people would enjoy this so i'll put some real effort into the new one, it will be about 6-7 minutes long with more variety of clips inlcuding longer racing scenes and more perfectly cut screams. Thanks so much for clicking onto this video, can promise more content down the pipeline as I have alot more free time. Cheers from Australia fella's.
If they lose any part while so close to the groud they flip, as seen in the video, but yeah, you can 100% get them to drive well with a solid track and good car.

After some trials with different blocks iv'e discovered that simply putting anymore or less blocks on the car gives it worse performance, mass blocks keep it on the ground but at the cost of power and speed, but by adding more bats or engines the car goes faster but now isn't as agile, it can't make cool turns and fast laps compared to how it's curruntly setup. it's a good though but really you would have to desgin something from the ground up to change this design. (the build for the car comes standard with the map, iv'e changed mearly paint jobs and added more power, removing blocks I didn't feel it needed)
Sorry but no. This is bliss. This is what you do when space engineers starts to hurt your brain. Brain hurt is when you've been up for over 24 hours trying to get something to work that you haven't fully understood about the game again. Like long distance remote control from one planet to another or transportable plates like elevators and what not... That's what hurts the brain. And usually this stuff helps. Like a lot 👌🤣 Great video. Looks like lots of fun.
Racing cars in the funny space game is hella fun. I mean we have a whole server/community set up to do just this, and we have a blast doing it. even have things like full blown seasons and points systems. I'd recommend stopping by if youre interested. We go by the Space Engineers Racing Community, or the acronym SERC. A lot of our workshop posts have links to the discord so it shouldnt be hard to find.
@@joshbonney9624 the second episode has less swearing but, my friends and I are Aussies and it’s kinda in our blood to swear especially being raised on a farm, I’ll make a bleeped version of the second episode within the next few weeks and send you a link my friend 👌
So the map is made purely heavy armour and blast armour, the reason they don't deform is due to the cars being made of light panels and small unarmoured blocks.
have you experimented with downforce engines? i got a setup where i switch from a hydrogen forward thrust to twin atmospheric thrusters pointed down whenever there's a turn. as long as you aren't using the hydrogen thruster while turning at speed, its really stable and i can take turns at 80m/s as long as the terrain is flat. That car is beautiful btw.
I for some reason haven't yet no, I heard about this ideaon reddit but have yet to apply it, the car handles AMAZING as long as it has all of the parts (Rear and front wing mainly). If you have a workshop link to your application of it i'd love to have a look at it and pull it apart, see how it works and all that :) Thank you very much, part 2 of this same style of video is out now and it's got alot more effort built into it if you're interested 🏎
Click on my channel and find the second part of the Space Engineers racing, the 100 sub special, download the map in the description, you'll see the car I used as a base, I modified the cars you see in the videos but you'll just have to expierement, took like 20 mins to get it right, low ride, high traction, more power in rear wheels and lower in front, 12-15 degree turning on front wheels etc.
No scripts and no mods, cars is SE handle great as long as they are tuned properly, i'll post my car on workshop for people to pull apart and use later tonight, link will be in this video's description as well as Part 2

I love How fragile they are like the real thing .. at the same time maybe a mass block? keep it on the ground
