Heh one server iteration had a group mining a set of asteroids we had scouted and completely marked and we jumped in not with A battleship, but our entire mobile starbase with 5-6 battleships docked to it along with our 2 or 3 large miners. The one combat ship they had along survived our first heavy weapon salvo, but was essentially dead after the second. Third salve took out all but one of their miners and they were able to jump away with that one. We mined out the two resources there that we wanted, Platinum and Uranium I think it was, and jumped away ourselves.

I already love the community(and the game itself), by just observing it from the safe distance of youtube(currently cant observe from closer distances due to a half-dead laptop with a graphics core straight from a microwave). Yet i cant help but ask a couple of questions: 1) From what i see game seems way less popular then its supposed to be(AAA engineering sandbox with solar system-sized world, semi-stable pvp, pva, and it has better physics then my shaking ass? Thats ksp, satisfactory, and eve-online in a single piece! Why nobody plays that? Did people just get distractet by factorio space age?) 2) There isnt much content of it on yt. Ive seen people squeeze every drop of content from rust, scrap mechanics, heck, even crossout has more attention. And here? Beautiful mods, great game, tons of possibilities...and, like, 10 big youtubers ._. I guess you should add a "youtube SE addict" in the next meme pack. (Sorry for weak english, i swear im not that dumb speaking my native one)

To help with the won't stop bug, shut off all power, place a block on your ship, turn back on and fling around wildly, often fixes it. The main fix is shut off all power, place a new grid onto your ship, like a landing gear or something, turn power back on and you will suddenly stop and that new grid will go flying often, so be careful. People have yet to achieve the true Clang Drive, which requires 3 small ships attached to a chain of 12 alternating rotors of equal angular distance, and each ship has to properly max thrust and shut off thrust at the proper timing. The top ship must thrust until it is in the middle, then cut out as the next one launches forward and so on. This is the true warp drive as it will launch your entire ship forward at speeds far beyond the limit and you don't have to worry about hitting anything as it won't hurt your ship but what your ship hit will get deleted where it was hit. Only issue is you have to be careful when you stop as a sudden stop causes massive damage across almost every block on your ship. Another issue with stopping is Clang can be angry and one of the ships in the drive rips off and goes right thru your entire ship as the drive needs to be built behind your ships centre mass. Slowing down takes awhile. Main bug of the drive is that everyone outside of your ship basically sees your ship get copied and pasted millions of times in a long line until your slow down.

1:00 reminds me of a moment I had on Empyrion Galactic Survival. Friend and I got into the game due to it being cheaper at the time and able to run on his craptop. We finally got out ship up and going only to find ourselves on a planet that had such high Gravity that after about 20 min of trying to point the ship upright so we could use the main thrusters, we basically had to give up. Someone tried to come save us with their "salvage" ship. But when they realized where we were they told us "Well, at least wipes tomorrow" lol

so, this is like outlands?
