T-moulding really makes it pop Joe, nice work!!
That game polished up real nice. Yeah I first thought on the yellow t-molding would be no, but it really does look good.
Nice work Joe. It ain’t pinball but still fun to watch you work this machine over. Someone is gonna love this game in their home.
I try to watch and listen to one of your projects daily, I learn so much . Thank you.
Thank you John we appreciate you hanging around with us!
I really appreciate that you give good advice on wiring and such without using the term “best practice”. It’s nice to be your own boss.
It sure is :) To be honest I hate the whole idea of 'best practice', there's several ways to do things and while some may be best, I don't really like when people criticize somebody for doing it different than they would have done it. You will never hear us say "Best practice" lol
Nice clean game. Well done.
I work in IT and use your catch phrase all the time. Sadly no one else finds it as amusing when I tell them 'it's broke!'
Oh, I also borrowed 'come on now people' ;)
@@showsan859Do you also yell *Power supply, power supply, power supply* when things go south?
Well that's Ronnie and Joe covered...how bout from Donnie..it's good!!
Nice work Joe 😁
Wow ! Two Joe videos in a row ! Power supply , power supply , power supply ! 😂 keep them coming Joe , always great to watch 👍
About the Ballast. You can use a LED replacement bulb that replaces fluorescent. The don't require a ballast and can be picked up in warm white, 3000K, or in cool white, 4000K. They're direct wire, so don't use a ballast or starter.
Highly recommend just did a slot someone brought to me to do. It's brighter and runs a lot cooler. They did it because all the heat the machine puts out.
Amazing how much better it looks with the new t molding.
Good job, Ronnie. Good job, Donnie. I mean, good job, Joe!
Nice solid 8.
Turned out beautiful.
Great video. That reminded me of a Gauntlet cabinet. Nice shape overall. Thanks for posting this.
Oh no! Tekken Tag Tournament is a classic game now? I'm OLD?!
You’re not old we’re all still here and the game is too 😀. You’re just an “OG”
I love these videos! ❤
The rare "one and done" video!
JOE, So in TEST MODE you can touch any wire to Ground/Chassis Ground to find out which wire it is?
Once you get into the in/out test yes as long as they are control panel wires
I've seen those ballasts go up in smoke before, they smell real bad!
I see a Paddle Battle. Would love to experience THAT video... vintage equipment!
It's coming up, that's my favorite type of machines, those weird 70's ones with the black and white monitors. The bridge between pinball and electromechanical arcade games and the modern video arcade games.
Nice nice ! good job as usual =)
Awesome video
Is CRT in good condition? It seemed to be a little dark
Yep it pop's
I was able to fix it because of yall...... So Friday afternoon I was playing Jurassic Park and I hit wizard mode for the first time. The wizard mode in JP does a system failure. It goes through and shuts off the lights and display gibberish on the screen. Well guess what happened when I hit the system failure mode. The system really died! How ironic that the system failure mode happened at the same time the rectifier on the power suppply decided to blow. It's up and running again after replacing the rectifier and a few leaky caps on the power supply board but I really enjoyed the irony in it all. It was because of yall I was able to have the confidence to dive into it and troubleshoot and repair it. I started at the wall. Its not broke anymore.
Awesome Job! I knew you could do it
Joe we all know what you look like, we all want to know what Ron looks like.
Ronnie is under witness protection, he cannot show his face..heck that ain't even his real voice...
Ron makes a brief appearance if you watch back through enough of the videos, but you could always pop over to SC and buy a game in the late afternoon if you really want to know. :)
Are you doing alright, joe? You don't sound like your usual self. Hope you are doing alright, buddy.
There's two of us!
Red molding would've been better, but thanks for this amazing video
If you were in England: “It’s bloke!”
I have a moon patrol and the marquee light blows a fuse, never seen that happen before
20:31 WAIT, so devil's wings really are cut-off in the original TTG Arcade Machine??? I thought it was just an emulator bug, it looks so weird.
What brand are those joysticks? I have IL branded ones but they are horrible especially for fighting games because of the travel to the switch
We only use IL
Really! Than there must be something wrong/delay elsewhere in my system thanx@@LyonsArcade
hello , where could i buy tekken tag baord?
I'm late to the party...Hey Joe!!
Hey Jason!
The link just shows a pinball at Amazon...
Yodelayheehoo
Yippee ki yay
Do you ever have any machines that are not repairable and end up in the garbage can?
Anything still in decent enough shape, part out what's usable and sell the frame to someone who wants to build a dedicated MAME cabinet.
Hardly ever, maybe 10 total over the years. Most of those were Pole Positions or Operation Wolf's :) Most cabinets can be cobbled together into something.
I LOVE Tekken Tag, but to bastardize a legit NBA Jam for it? Sacrilege….
When they did that, NBA Jam was making 5 bucks a week because it was old and you weren't playing it anymore. Tekken Tag was the new hot game and was making $300 a week. So either they turn NBA Jam into Tekken tag, or they throw NBA Jam into the trash at the dump. It takes a certain type of empathy to see another person's point of view from a different time but you do you
@@LyonsArcade oh, I’m aware of WHY it was done. You’re acting like I’m blaming you directly.😂 Surely you can “empathize“ with someone like me who has a Jam board set, but no dedicated cab to put it in, seeing a dedicated Jam cab used for a game that never came with a dedicated cab. Just hurts a little.🤓
