The main things people are calling poisons in our food aren’t poisons. Everything including water is toxic to humans at certain doses. Food in Europe is not safer or better than ours. They still use high fructose corn syrup they just use it in different foods & call it by another name. The biggest difference is they flavor food with saturated fat & trans fat which is way way worse for you because our bodies can’t fully digest it & ends up in your vascular system.
I bet a big contributor to lung disease is people being exposed to mold especially in south Florida.

My mom got diagnosed with lung cancer on Thanksgiving 2022, now in April 2024 she beat the odds and is cancer free, she never smoked a cigarette in her life. Condolences to you! The same thing happened to my dad where he was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer. He never smoked a day in his life, didn't hang around smokers, but yet it was diagnosed with lung cancer and I was always so confused about how that could be. Luckily they caught it early enough where they could cut out pieces of his lungs and give him some treatments and he was able to pull through from that. BUT, then a few years later he was on a cruise and had severe pain on the back of his neck. The medical team gave him some painkillers add suggested that he go to the hospital when they docked. As soon as he was docked, he went straight to the ER and after doing some tests they found another cancerous tumor at the top of his spine behind his neck, osw to the throat area. Low and behold, cancer again. That was also removed and treated but he never fully bounced back. He ended up passing another 2yrs or so after that and I'm honestly not sure what the official cause was.

Radioactive materials in sandstone, concrete, brick, natural stone, gypsum, and granite contain naturally-occurring radioactive elements like radium, uranium, and thorium. These naturally-occurring elements can break down or decay into the radioactive gas radon. Before I invest into a piece of land, a commercial, or residential property. I have an environmental hygienist come out and test for radiation, lead, high levels of mold, radon, pesticides, heavy metals, toxic waste, and water pollution levels. If you are always getting sick, it can be from your environment.

They did say what and where it comes from. How it gets there is that it comes directly from the earth's soil. It doesn't look like anything, you can't see it, you can't smell it. Kits are available to test radon levels. Where in your house - highest levels in the basement as it comes from the soil. Who is at risk? Everyone. Nothing can be done once exposed - it's just wait and see. The radon risk can be mitigated - there are companies and DIY methods to lower the risk. Hope that helps.

I have a friend who installs Radon Mitigation systems in people's homes in Florida. He says 80% of the calls he gets are from people whom been diagnosed with Cancer and want the home tested or its already been tested by a testing kit and want a quote to install a system to lower the values. The other 20% of calls are from new home owners whom are under contract and tested the home during the inspection phase and found high levels of Radon Gas. My home was at a 11pica which is extreme, we replaced the older system that was there but it was not doing its job it went down to 5pica still above the 4pica, so we then installed a second one on the other side of the home dropped it to under 1 like .95 which is really good. Especially in hot weather climates where you keep your windows and doors closed and AC running all day/night people would be surprised how high the level gets inside your home, this doesn't just affect humans it also affects smaller animals/pets in the home. If you wondering why your pets are getting cancers, you might want to check their the first ones to tell you something is wrong since their body is smaller it requires less amounts of it to take its affect.

They did X-ray told me to call a family dr so I did and she forwarded me to get bloodwork and tests done and went to cardiologist. They didn’t see anything which I’m grateful for but here I am 1.5 yr later and still getting the chest pain. I know it’s not an anxiety attack which can cause chest pain but it happens when I’m relaxed so I think may be skeletal or muscle related because I do have a sharp curve in my upper spine. My issue is that I am still having this very painful symptom and doctors just say, well we can’t find anything but they only checked heart, did mammogram, X-ray and blood work. The latest from the EPA is "No evidence that glyphosate causes cancer in humans.
The Agency concluded that glyphosate is not likely to be carcinogenic to humans." (I didn't leave anything out... it really is released in exactly that form.)
The concern was allegedly raised by an unnamed individual in a branch of the UN roughly a decade ago. The report was that the branch agency had submitted questionnaires to farmers and ranchers regarding use of glyphosate and rate of cancers in the livestock. The allegation is that the responses uniformly denied any indication of excess cancers with glyphosate, but a clerk processing the reports changed many of them to indicate an increase in cancer with glyphosate. It is hard to tell what actually happened - none of the reports see fit to name names within the agencies (nothing unusual in that) but in 2016 that - as reported by Reuters - "experts from the U.N.'s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and World Health Organization (WHO) said glyphosate is "unlikely to pose a carcinogenic risk to humans" exposed to it through food."
Then it got politically ugly. The EPA reported "On March 20, 2020, the glyphosate ID was challenged in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Petitioners challenged EPA’s analysis of human health and ecological risk, the weighing of such risks against the benefits of glyphosate and the interim risk mitigation measures, and alleged that EPA violated the Endangered Species Act (ESA)."
At that stage the UN and the EPA were in agreement that there was insufficient evidence of carcinogenic activity in humans to support allegations of carcinogenic activity in humans or livestock. The whole bar fight of the agencies and the courts can be found by googling "epa ingredients-used-pesticide-products glyphosate" It is the ugliest battle I have seen between factions that are supposed to be pursuing rational ends.
Bottom line: there is no evidence that glyphosate is carcinogenic but we should treat it as though it is. All things considered, that is probably the best anybody could have hoped for.

In the mid 80s I worked on a geothermal research project. That was before the EPA had any recommendations for Radon. In the course of specifying Radon limits in our models I learned a number of things. Radon is primarily encountered as an inert gas. It is generally found in regions with a lot of granite and similar igneous rocks some metamorphic rock. It percolates through the rock and basement concrete walls because it is inert. In places like New England there is about 10,000 pC of radon in every liter of water those folks drink. But radon is not absorbed in one’s digestive track. Rather, the radon gas percolates out of the water into the air. It is a very dangerous gas (alpha particle emitter) to inhale and about 10% of lung cancers result from people inhaling radon during their shower or sleeping in a remodeled basement where radon that is a heavy gas may accumulate. One cannot proved whether this women’s lung cancer resulted form radon. In homes that do have radon infiltrating the only solution is to ventilate so homes with basements need much more air exchange to move the gas out of the house; same with showers. One cannot stop the gas from entering the home. One can only ventilate it out or move out of radon areas.. Our environment is thoroughly polluted in the air we breath, the food, we eat, and everywhere between. Who knows how many poisons: PCBs, heavy metals, PFAS, we are immersed in everyday. That’s not to mention all the fallout from the 392 atomic bomb tests were carried out in Nevada. Near all the USA has been blanketed with fallout many many times. At Prime, see the movie, “Downwind” for the history of that. Fallout and pollutants in everything is likely behind the increase in cancers now found in the USA for all ages.

Radon is at dangerous levels in 1 out of 3 homes in the Intermountain West. (Colorado/Utah) Landlords are not required to screen no mitigate this. Test your home and get it fixed. I work as a CT tech here in Utah and see a ton of lung cancers. Just because you can't smell it there is no state wide effort to combat it.

There are radon gas detectors you can install in your house. When the gas is detected a fan comes on and evacuates the gas from the area detected. Decomposing granite generates radon gas.

What? People spending a bunch of time in their homes due to lockdown and a lot deciding to continue working from home? It's a contributing factor for sure. But health is complex. There's also rising stress with cost of living, divided political team barracking, apparent nearness to WW3 and a continuation of people eating less meat and more processed foods. Lots going on. Plus just in general, with each generation the human species gets weaker as there is no longer any evolutionary pressure on us. The weak and feeble survive to an age they can have children (which is good) but means the children are more susceptible to disease and cancer..

Radon decays into radioactive daughter particles that are not a gas at room temperature. These daughter products can stick to the inside of your lungs and emit highly ionizing alpha particles. You can also detect radon daughter products by putting a coffee filter over the opening of a vacuum cleaner, turning on the vacuum cleaner for several seconds, and then use a Geiger counter to detect the presence of radon daughter products that have collected on the coffee filter. I discovered my mother had radon in her home this way. This can tell you that you have radon but not how much. The rule of thumb for any radioactive isotope is to never ever ingest them.
