Wake-up mate, the lunatic just stated on National Television that because of his State's.. "Stand your ground Law"... if this poor defendant happens to walk anywhere near the incompetent Walnut, he wouldn't hesitate in SHOOTING the guy!??!
      Seriously.... WTF.???
I'd save your "empathy" for someone a little less Narcissistic 🤔.
This clown is nothing more than a male KAREN, who believes the world must bend to his liking or there's gonna be a problem.
Think about it .... the man SUED the victim of a Dog Bite by HIS own dog, and even with the Police stating that his dog DID in fact bite the Defendant, he still cannot bring himself to take any responsibility.
      He's OG Karen.

Yep. Keep all dogs on a leash at ALL times. If they are a 2lb Yorkie or a 200lb great Dane. I always try and walk/turn away when I see people coming near me because my dogs like to jump in a friendly and they are big dogs. I just say "please do not come near me/ please stop so I can turn around" and then I walk away and make the leash shorter.
Best not to even risk it.
Also it's BOTH people's responsibility. EVERYONE needs to be aware of their OWN surroundings at ALL times. We are all responsible for our own safety.
      I personally do a 4×15 rule.
I ALWAYS look around so I know what is 15 feet in front of me, behind me and to each side of me at ALL times

He should take his "stand your ground" law statement as a threat to his life.
This is exactly why this type of law should be unconstitutional, bc people like this will use it completely out of context and solely to justify delusional threat to personal security.

Myshan Amakisi - disagree. If that's the case there's all kinds of laws that we should just make unconstitutional because people find a way to use them out of context. Just watch this show!
If we go with that solution then I guess we should get rid of the elder abuse laws also since he tried to use that out of context as well. Little different there hmmm?
There's been plenty of times the stand your ground has saved lives and taken out criminals. Especially in the elderly which is why Florida has this law.
That's a slippery slope to start deeming laws unconstitutional because someone misuses them! Not a good idea!

There's an ex-cop who was in a movie theater and was annoyed at a man two rows ahead who was using his cellphone before the movie started. They exchanged words and the man threw popcorn at the ex-cop, who pulled his gun and shot the guy. The ex-cop is claiming that he was justified under "stand your ground".
Yes, the former officer is claiming that his life was in imminent danger from a man wielding a cellphone and a tub of popcorn.
