Wow! I'm always on the lookout for new symphonic metal bands, and I'm so glad this popped up in my recommended. I've replayed it several times now. Definitely looking forward to hearing more.
Thank you so much for your comment - it really means a lot! 🖤 But I just want to clarify (because you mentioned "band") that I don't mean to imply that I'm a full-fledged band or anything like that. I'm actually just one guy who happens to love music (especially metal) and has a boatload of technology to support me in building the music I would like to hear myself :)
@@frafrimon Thank you so much for mentioning the idea of official tabs - it's definitely something I'm excited to offer in the future! 🙌 While it's already on the project roadmap, I still have a few things to iron out before I can make it happen. Realistically, I'm aiming for a Q1 2025-ish timeline to have everything in place. In the meantime, I'd love to know which tabs you'd be most interested in! I'm thinking "Echoes of the Void" would be a great one to start with (and as a special thank you for bringing up the topic here, you'll get that one for free as soon as it's ready! :)). But I'm curious - are there any other songs you'd like to see tabs for in the beginning? Oh, and feel free to ping me on social media or shoot me an email (address is in my UA-cam bio) so I can keep you in the loop as soon as the tabs are ready to be published! Thanks again for your support and for being a part of this amazing community! 🖤
@@all_things_magical_official Thank you much c: glad to help with ideas Now if I had to choose the first tablatures I would choose to learn without taking into account "Echoes of the Void", they would be: - Magick Moon - Reimagined - Twelve Houses - Old Gods of Atlantis These 4 songs would be the ones I would start with Also, would you mind sharing the bands/artists that influence you to your own style? c: Byw the whole Ascend album is Epic
I'll definitely keep that order in mind as soon as everything is in place to start creating and publishing them :) As for the bands and artists influences - oh man, that's an awesome topic that I could probably talk about for hours! 😄 It really does depend a bit on the specific song (as I'm experimenting still quite heavily between songs), but I can definitely share some key influences for a few of the tracks you mentioned (as in: bands / songs I like in general and which of course, in some shape or form influence how I create myself). For "Echoes of the Void", I guess, I drew a lot of inspiration from Delain and the older Sirenia songs, as well as Krypteria (especially their 2007 album) and wanted to go in that direction with this song. There's just something about the ethereal atmospheres, but at the same time, the powerful drums and vocals in those bands' music really resonate with me in general. "Magick Moon", on the other hand, might lean a bit more towards "purer Delain's style", with perhaps a touch of Xandria thrown in for good measure. I love the way those bands create such 'soundscapes' while still maintaining a strong sense of melody and structure. Ended up (with some luck involved) with a kind of similar sounding basis for Magick Moon. And for "Old Gods of Atlantis", I think there's definitely a bit of a HammerFall influence in there, particularly in terms of the epic vocals and the driving rhythms. Those guys really know how to craft a memorable metal anthem! Of course, at the end of the day, my goal is always to take those influences and transform them into something uniquely "All Things Magical". It's a constant process of exploration, experimentation, and refinement, but I couldn't be more excited about where it's taking me over time. Right now I'm experimenting with adding some epic music influences to the mix (hello, "two steps from hell") but I'm not where I want to be with this combination, hence, all produced songs in this style found their place on my disk drive but not on the public internet :D Thank you again for your kind words about the Ascend album - it means the world to me 🖤 I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the tabs once they're ready, and in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything else!
Found it on Spotify's Discover Weekly, and I gotta say, it's pretty ¤%&/ catchy, just like several of the other tracks from the album. Definitely going into some of my symphonic metal playlists. Apart from that, it's an interesting glimpse into what generative AI can do when it comes to being used as a tool for creating music. Real fascinating! And if this is just the beginning... there's without a doubt more good music coming in the future. And this tech gives solo artists the means to create a lot bigger things than before. The introduction of digital instruments (and computers in general) was a giant leap forward for solo projects, and this is definitely another. And for artists worrying, I'd love to see this performed live by an actual band too. It's not necessarily about AI *replacing* anyone, per se. But it's a controversial and interesting topic, no doubt.
Wow, thank you so much for this incredibly insightful comment! I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. You've hit the nail on the head in almost all aspects you mention. First of all, it's fantastic to hear that you discovered the track through Spotify's Discover Weekly and found it catchy enough to add to your symphonic metal playlists. Your observations about AI in music production are spot-on, too. You're absolutely right - this technology is a tool that opens up new possibilities, especially for solo artists like myself. Just as VSTs / synths / samples and computers in general revolutionized music-making in their own ways, AI is now creating new areas of creative expressions (also in movie making, for example, it's so cool what some people are right now creating with the video AIs!). I love your perspective on live performances, too. A live band performance of these tracks would indeed be incredible! AI is enhancing the creative process, not replacing the human element that makes music so powerful. Thank you again for your support and for sharing your insights. It's listeners like you who make this journey so rewarding 🖤
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to reach out! 🙏 Sending all the best right back to you and everyone in Kyiv! Stay strong, stay safe, and keep shining your light

Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I'm happy to hear the on-screen lyrics are helping you fully experience the music. I'm honored by your comparison to Shireen - they're an incredible band, indeed. While I'm sorry to hear about your hearing issues, I'm impressed by your continued passion for music despite that obstacle! Keep rocking on! 🤘

Thank you for your question! Yes, the vocals, among other things, are indeed synthesized using AI technology. I try to fine-tune the AI output to achieve a polished (as far as possible) vocal performance in the final version of the song :)
The details depend on the given song, but as a general rule, the sound is essentially synths/samples and AI. Related to the lyrics, I use AI as a creative helper in writing them, too. Process-wise, usually after the song (mainly the lyrics) is written, a first version of the song is created with AI. From there, I refine each song again and try to add a human touch by getting it back into the DAW. Then there is a ton of fine-tuning (resp. audio restoration), adding samples, synths, as well as remixing and mastering everything again by hand to remove some of the synthetic touch (I mean, with the current AI models, there is a limit to the sound you can create, but the whole area is progressing).
Music is incredibly subjective, and what resonates with one person may not connect with another. That's the beauty of art, isn't it (let's not open the "AI is not art" box here, as it is a topic on its own and it is a very fuzzy line)? But in the end, it's as diverse and varied as life itself. However, I completely understand that this style isn't everyone's cup of tea. It is still very experimental, and there are limits to what is possible right now in this specific niche. Thank you again for engaging with the content and sharing your honest thoughts. I wish you all the best in finding more music that speaks to you personally!
