$4.79 for a 3 pack of Kodak Gold?!?!! Oh man! What a neat project idea. Loved the Holga images from this roll, especially the classic car shots. Good stuff.
Great shots Dave , the Holga gives such a great look to the images. As a car nut I loved the shots of the Oldmobile Super 88, the Holga gave the shots a great retro vibe.
Thanks - yeah I like this Holga/Fomapan combo. Plus, it’s fun to see the neon green dyes wash away after the pre-rinse. I am woefully a couple months behind in my CCR listening, but I’m definitely down for coming on later this year. Cheers🍺
I have never liked any photo I took of a covered bridge. I think you’re onto something with the holga. Just lo-fi enough to reduce the harsh modern details that creep in.
Damn that wide & slim does things to me, that's a cool little camera hahaha. I'm with Film is more fun, holy crap re: $4.79 for that three pack ahaha. 3:58 rocks!! That car is so cool.
Frugal project brilliant! 90 cents can't beat that! Feb film is a great idea love to participate. I think I'm so busy with my own project commitments and making videos. I'm a bit swamped.
Straight from Sherry: “Happy New Year @everyone Time to start the 2023 project!!! This post is to review the guidelines. - camera kit - under $75 USD. This includes camera, extra lenses, flash, filters and shipping. - Film - 12 rolls of cheap film. It must be the same brand and speed. You can’t mix ISO. If you choose Fomapan 100, that’s your film for the year.” My understanding is same camera/lens and film all 12 months.
Great photos!! Love the ideas in those different projects!!
Thanks Kary! I stayed with the Holga/Fomapan combo for February too. I’m editing that video today and will post it in March.

Thanks Chris - Yeah I lucked out on that Kodak Gold!
😁 This was great! Love the images from the Holga- the vignetting is beautiful. Looks like a fun project. Can’t wait to see more.
Thanks Jim - I’m looking forward to shooting my Holga more this year.
The railroad crossing sign and the weathervane(?) - perfect Holga material.

Thank you - I’ve shot that Olds on all kinds of cameras and film, and I keep going back to it.
Strange to not see the blue background 😂
And yay for more collabs!
Strange for me too 😆And you are the undisputed Queen of collabs Joan 🙌🏻

I love how ghostly these shots look! And yes to shooting and hoping for the best with Holga - this is also part of the joy! :)
“Ghostly” is a great way to describe these. I’m enjoying shooting the Holga again.
Insta-like :). I wait for the sunny whether to use my Vivitar WS. That cover bridge is something very rare.
Thanks - Yes, the Vivitar does need the sun
Awesome! Big fan of Fomapan 400. We're going to have to get you on an episode of CCR later this year ;)

I do think the lo-fi effect adds a little retro vibe.

Thanks man - Hey that little Vivitar is one of my fave cameras - needs a lot of light (or high speed film), but I really dig the results.

Thanks Gavin - I know that swamped feeling all too well.
Collabs have been great! This definitely reminds me that I should finally get another Holga one day. ha ha.
Yes - and thanks again for hosting that roundtable last year!
@@theoldcameraguy You're very welcome! That was a ton of fun, and I appreciate your participation in it!

Yes, same camera all year, unless it breaks. Same film each month - You got it
Great shots! Time for me to load the holga up and go for a walk!
Thanks - I’m out with my Holga again today. Happy shooting!
Ohhh Fomapan, my favourite film, ever. 😍
I’m digging it too!
Nice 👍
Thanks!
Frugal is the best kind of photography. Best pics I ever took were on a minolta dynax 5 I got for £15 with £4 rolls of film
Nice!
I liked the RR crossing sign photo.👍
Thanks!
Welcome to the FFP!!
Thanks Sam - it’s been a lot of fun so far!
if the project is open to non-Americans id like to give it a go in 2022
Yes - it is worldwide.
