I had a 70 GTO with a 400 and ram air heads when I was 18. I drove it until I had only 4 points left on my license due to speeding tickets. The difficulty in finding high octane gas with lead additive was also part of the problem. I tried bumping the timing down and running a mix of no lead high octane with regular leaded gas. I soon had to remove the heads to fix the burned valves. I parked it and bought a four cylinder Subaru. LMAO
Nice goat. Bet it sells fast. Ya know, it has a factory original aluminium intake, (RAIV, or a 455HO). 455 4 spd is the only way to have a 70 GTO. You should mention the rear gear, when you're advertising. Maybe 3.55s?

Good-looking GTO but for that price that paint and body should be perfect
I’m 53 and I’ve dreamt about owning a 1970 GTO my whole life.
Nice Goat ! 4 speed and 455ci engine in triple black is tremendous find! 👍👍

I think there was about 1746 Built and I had one when I was stationed at Malmstrom, AFB, MT. back in the early 80's!!!
That seat should have a piece of vinyl tape over that rip
Beautiful car, grew up with these ❤
455 HO came out in 71. The 70 455 had high compression. The 71&72 had 9:1 Compression.
In 1970, there was a 455HO rated at 360 HP.
And the intake was not aluminum.
very nice guys
Beautiful Goat, definitely do not dill a hole through that original hood, if it already has a factory dash tach than you never instal a hood tach .

No pics or vids of the heads? I’d like to know if those are 7f6 or 197 heads
just run of the mill D port heads
What model heads came with the original motor? That price is high for it not to have the original motor. With that said still a nice looking GTO
They all did not have hood tachs?
Paints junk
