Loved their daily routine I always learn something new! Your enclosures are so nice 😍 I wanted to ask do you have a video on how to get your rabbits used to being held? I really struggle to clip my rabbits nails because they freak anytime I try to hold them!
I have several videos showing how I clip my rabbits nails! I use a counter so I don’t have to actually hold them in my lap and they’re much calmer that way. If you look back in my videos you can see a few I’ve done!
Those are very small water dishes. My rabbits have glazed pottery bowls at least ten or twelve inches in diameter and three inches deep. Two rabbits empty one bowl twice a day, pottery bowls keep the water cool. Excellent care of your rabbits, makes me feel sad to see people raising rabbits for meat. Please make viewers aware that giving rabbits access to cotton material can be dangerous, because if the eat it they can get stasis and die. Stasis is a digestive issue that often proves fatal without immediate Veterinary treatment.
I see people give their dogs filtered bottled water, then when they go out for a walk, they drink out of mud puddles, lakes, streams. lol. Wild bunnys drink whatever they can find. We tend to go overboard a bit on some things. where did you get that tunnel? That's awesome! that reminds me, I need to change my bunnys house today. Get a little cordless hand vac for poop pick up . Makes it easier and faster. You can buy them at resale shops also.
If you spill the water, maybe getting a jug or watering can would be easier, you can wash the bowls, bring them in empty, then fill them up once they're placed. Edit: I don't mean a gigantic garden watering can, there are small ones for house plants. Just thought I'd clear that up. :D
Another great video! Little Lulu says, “Would you please stop what you’re doing and give me some attention?” Makes me sad that she’s so old and won’t be around a lot longer. I’d be spending a whole lot of time with her. Couldn’t you give her some kind of heating source for her arthritis? Heat is extremely therapeutic when you hurt from arthritis. I have it myself and live with a heating pad and a heated throw! Very soothing. Lulu needs something like that. She is VERY fortunate to have you, Hailey! Darling kitty!!
I use a space heater outside of her pen at night when it’s cool at night. I just have to be careful not to make it to hot for the other bunnies so I only use it when the weather is cool out. But now that it’s fall I’ve been using it almost every night
@@101rabbits Don't you have microwaveable heat pads In the Us. In the UK we have snuggle safe heat pad that goes in the microwave for a few min and it last about 10 hours my 10 year old rabbit loves it he has arthritis. And they are really handy for when they go in to gi stasis

Wow I am so glad my bunny is clean! He has full run of a huge room 24/7 . I can go without sweeping for a week if I wanted ! He keeps everything in his poop box too.

I would have loved to be able to meet you! Bunfest has just become to difficult to go to anymore for several reasons but I hope someday I can do meetups somewhere as I love meeting people! I’ll be doing an update on Ebony soon. I’m just waiting to gather more information first but for now she’s her happy little self and she recovered wonderfully from her dental.

I wish I could use huge hay box like you do. My bunnies like to pick what hay they like, throw whatever they don't like and pee on it. They would empty a 4 day worth of hay everyday like that, I was throwing out so much hay. They don't do that when I put the hay in the litter but I have to refill it way more often, of course.
Where do you order the wooden stick house that Lulu has? It is nice and big! I have a hard time finding the big ones. My bunnies are big! Flemish need a challenge. I was also going to suggest that you just leave some water bottle gallons in your pet area so you can take the clean bowls from your kitchen and then once you get into the Rabbit area you’ve got the water jugs to pour the water into the bowls in their living area and you’re not carrying a bowl full of water so far and spilling. Getting two adult rabbits in November. They are now caged. I am making large pens indoors for them. Inspired by yours. Will they have a hard time adjusting do you think?
They should not have too much of a hard time adjusting, make sure you give them somewhere to hide if they get scared at first though. My rabbit had no trouble adjusting to a larger cage.
I have a free roam rabbit that has a cage for a litter box and a x pen for a play pen but he gets mad if I don’t change things around so every weekend I spend a few hours moving stuff around and my grandpa spoils him with all sorts of fruits and vegetables but what we do with all of our pets is each pet has a different colored cup for water and we just fill the cup and take that to them instead of carrying a bowl because my bunny lives in the basement and all the other pets are spread around the house
I keep a jug of water in the bunny room and put the clean dishes back before I fill them. Bring the jug in the bunny pen and it makes less mess, I too am clumsy 😂

One of my buns doesnt care too much for food and he doesnt really like to be picked up and I struggle to put him back in their pen. Any suggestions?
I have a question....I know that you use a shop vac to vacuum up after the rabbits. We got a shop vac but it's always getting clogged from the hay. Can you suggest a shop vac that does a great job vacuuming up the hay without getting clogged constantly? Thanks!!

You’re supposed to feed them dark leafy greens...NOT lettuce. Lettuce contains mainly water and barely has any source of nutrients for the bunnies. Feed them cilantro, kale, parsley, spinach, basil, etc.
I have a question, I have plans to get a rabbit soon (which I’m very excited about) I often sleep with a noise machine that sounds like pouring rain, Will this cause my rabbit stress while I’ll sleep? I can adjust its volume, but I just want to make sure that the noises aren’t scaring my bunny And also, what wood do you use for your enclosures? I want to make sure that their safe for my rabbit Tysm for your time!
Something you could do without spilling water is get a tea pitcher you don’t have to fill it up all the way just however much you need and use the pitcher to pour the water in the bowls it’s a lot easier
