I've been enjoying Lucy on Taskmaster. She's so sweet, but randomly pulls some absolutely unhinged things out of nowhere and it's just so hilarious.

I love how despite the fact they're married, they still have to be socially distanced. But maybe Jon insisted on it.
I guarantee you, even though the fact they're married is the focus of a whole discussion, people would STILL have rung up to complain if they hadn't been distanced.
I'm guessing it's just the way the set is made. They don't change it around depending on the make-up of the teams.

I like to imagine that during lockdown John put loads of tape on the floor and measured out 6 feet making sure they always stayed suitably separated :)

It’s all about controlling your mind.
Lucy is quite funny. Her delivery is just great. It's subdued and subtle. It's like being punched in the nose with a giant marshmallow. It doesn't exactly hurt, but you still have to live down the fact you got hit.
That's such a great way to describe it!
She can literally break you down, without being mean in words xD

That bit about the face of a deaf baby hearing for the first time being like his vegan face eating steak made me genuinely laugh so hard!
Although actually hearing is usually startling at first so most babies just cry the first time they hear.

Lucy is so funny. Meet The Richardsons is a very funny show. It's a bit like An Idiot Abroad meets Emmerdale. Jon obviously being the idiot, but set mainly in Yorkshire. Comedy gold.

3:45 funny thing about that Wilkinson's perineum comment... Jon Richardson has a stand-up bit where he tells a story how he rubbed his wife's (I assume the very same one's sitting next to him) perineum for months in special oils to prevent it from splitting during labour :D
