I love how Harriet seems to have actually broken Sean's walls down. It's not that he simply broke character, he was awkward and didn't quite know what to do with all her sweetness. They were great together 😊
"Hello" to another "L. Neville" ! (Presumably across the world! Im in Australia!)
@@liamnevilleviolist1809 small world. A mate of my is married to a "L. NEVILLE", her name being lisa 😁
"My money was not on Harriet grooming you." 😂😂😂

@Rock girl @Abdu LOL
@Rock girl defiantly??? or definitely?

Just like the bit about if someone were to see pictures of Rachel Riley and Bill Bailey, and try to guess who was stalking who, they'd be wrong.
That episode with Harriet and Sean was a masterclass. "Come on dad!"
I was quite jealous when she called him "Dad". I want to call him "Dad" too. Well, "Daddy".
@@budle89 hmmmm don’t like that
Absolutely brilliant
When was this? I think I missed it
@@akramm.8543 it isn't in the compilation, it's a separate scene when Sean plays darts to pick the letters
Oh my gosh, the bits with Harriet and Sean had me actually laughing out loud. RIP to a very funny man. You are missed by so very many people. ♡
Harriet is a bit strange.. no surprise she's married to a bloke with borderline personality disorder.
Harriet stole the show for me and I absolutely adore Sean and his comedy. But Harriet went balls out the gifts but could have gone a very different way!! 😂
I'd watched a lot of clips but was totally new to me the other day.
It's adorable. A bit strange, but I love seeing people make Sean uncomfortable 😂
They were amazing.
to think we'll never see Sean look this uncomfortable and amused at the same time is a real shame. RIP Sean, you're still making us laugh!!
❤ Sean for life
Wait he's dead?
Rip Sean, absolute legend. I still can't believe he's gone. What a loss for comedy
I don’t think I’ve ever been as floored by a celebrity death.
I’m still just sad about it
@@Chris_Cross yeah, died a few months ago now
"Even I'm getting a semi" is my all time favourite line
@bad1dobby "Susie, what have you been looking up recently?"
Every time I see the clip of Sean melting when Rosie says she's wanted to be his friend, it makes me tear up every time. I miss him so much :'(
The best bit is Rosie fully knowing what she’s doing and LIVING for it
Sean being groomed almost made me pass out I was laughing so much
Not being English, the fact that he was being groomed as a joke didn't occur to my mind. It was the just the endless set of gifts that made it hilarious for me lol. I guess the joke was the reversal of expectations from Harriet.
@@polarisgemini52 groomed just meant he way of connection thru comedy was challenged by harriet for a bit
Jon and Russell are like two grown toddlers it's great.
To be fair anyone above the age of 3 could be considered a grown toddler.
They're like Bert & Ernie
If they filmed a road trip program together no doubt it would be hilarious.
u can tell they are good friends because jon initiate the fist bump
is jon grown tho?
Harriet and Sean were hilarious together
I always loved their banter together!
Harriet was amazing, really found something new to do in the format and it was hilarious.
The best comedians do create the vibes for others to contribute to as well and she did make that whole bit work so Sean and Jimmy could jump in. Jimmy's comments from the sidelines were so on point.
The Harriet stuff is absolutely lovely.
That's just a side effect of Harriet being lovely
I think the 2-for-1 travel pass was grossly underrated. That was hilarious.
The fact Joe got to go on holiday with Rachel makes me feel like I should be more like Joe to win at life.
Well if you're ever at a train station toilet...
Joe isn't really like his persona in real life
@@poilboiler hello commuter, on your way to work…

I won't lie, Harriet and Sean's scene was genuinely heart warming. RIP man
Sean is just a hurricane of humour.

She is pretty funny too
More like a treacherous undertow.
He was the mayor of funtown
@@TheFelipeflip dont need your negativity cant we just pretend he’s still here
I wonder if Harriet still has that other half of the necklace
I'm willing to be money that is now one of her most treasured possesions.
Man I'm tearing up
🥺
Please dont make me cry
Aw. I bet Sean kept all those gifts. Harriet and Sean had this running gag where she called him “dad” and he mentioned that she was more considerate and encouraging than his actual children. I always thought it was a gag based on truth. They had a great friendship. She talks about him during his memorial video and it’s lovely. (Bring some tissues if you watch that video. Greg Davies crying really just breaks the heart)
Is it on UA-cam?
I couldn't find it on UA-cam.
"I got him gifts to make it better, so you'll still want to be my friend"
-Me trying to patch up my social life after not talking to my friends for 2 weeks
If they make you feel that you have to do that, probably best to bin them off bud.
Seriously
No really
100% not joking
Take my word for it.
Mate were kinda in unprecedented times, if you gotta dip for a few weeks to not go insane then that's what you gotta do. Take care of yourself first, if they're real friends they'll understand.
2 weeks? I have friends I have not spoken to in years or seen in decades. But when we do chat we are still all good.
If people require you to patch up after 2 weeks then they have serious mental issues.
If you really listened to it, what Johnny Vegas said was profound and very accurate.
True, and it often is.
Sean Lock remains where he always was - at the center of our attention and love.
The only time Jimmy will ever jealous of Joe is when he found out that Joe went on holiday with Rachel in Greece.
Rachel and Joe did the Greece trip for the series "24 Hours to Go Broke" - It is hilarious. Had to frivolously spend 10,000 Euros in 24 hours. The episode is somewhere on here in two parts.
@@garyrasberryjr.552 How on earth does anyone spend 10,000 euros in Greece? You could buy a whole island for that.
Only after Joe and Rachel left....
I've NEVER seen Sean unable to dominate the situation with his wit, but wow those interactions with Harriet really just threw him!
Sean Lock was one of the funniest people I've ever seen on TV. He anchored this show. Everyone else was playing checkers, this man was playing chess.
If you want to see true brilliance, look for "Carrot in a Box" from 8ootc Christmas special with him and Jon.
He played Jon so hard on that one, it was so good.
@@Joliie And not just once, but twice!
I have watched so many episodes on UA-cam but the carrot in a box was the one that made me shout with laughter and keep laughing for a long time afterwards…
11:55 - "Aww you fit perfectly, dont you? Does it feel right? It just feels right"
Best joke ever 😂😂
RIP Sean Locke. Hard to watch these clips knowing he’s gone. A true gent and a fellow Chelsea fan to boot. Forever missed.
I miss that guy, RIP Sean 🕯
Show some respect, at least spell his name correctly. it's "Lock", you muppet.
@@mrfocigaz4942 someone made a mistake. It happens. Calm down. There was no disrespect intended
@@mrfocigaz4942 lol Muppet I find a silly British insult in fact I would say it's not even a real insult , it's just ;laughable
Chelsea fan?... Still a legend, sorely missed.
thanks harriet that was funny watching the unsquirmable man , squirm hahaha
Listening to Aisling, the translation is technically correct. It involved someone stealing another person’s groceries when they left the Spar and the Guards arrived and something about a woman and a pint of the cordial MiWadi and she was okay…
It translates; A woman stole groceries from a man because she was drunk on vodka & miwadi, she was so fucked up she hit him with a toilet plunger across the head, the police eventually found the woman shaking like an abused horse, hiding in the cupboard (not a totally accurate translation), she offered the police sex or a snog if they let her go.... she was fine in the end.
@@rql8543 The only thing I understood from her reading was something about a horse 😆 Thanks for the translation!
I'd love to see a transcript of the original text....
Sean and Rosion had a fantastic dynamic!
Harriet is adorable and equally funny. A wonderful foil to the always great Sean Lock.
Jon and Russell are just precious together lol
Bro Alan Carr almost killed me with that semi line
John and Russell have the most adorable friendship
"Certainly out lived the friendship". How right Jimmy was.
Harriet’s double ticket is the greatest moment of this whole show
Hahahaha "most people just say thank you." "...yeah."
Poor old Sean, I bet he was a good guy to be around.
He still is, just much quieter now
Necklace together...crying with laughter...now crying with sadness.
The only famous person that died that I actually miss. He was hilarious and am sure had so much more to give.
I don't normally cry over the death of a celebrity. But for Sean I did
I love that when russell was wearing the blue jumper he was holding the end of the sleeves like a child it was just sweet
Gay His massive ego puts pay to any true sweetness though...
@@ticketyboo2456not sure how it's gay, but find me any performer without a massive ego! They're performing because they think theyre worth seeing... Literally an ego!
Just for the look on Johnny's face when he realized he had nicked Sara's book.
LOL. Allan Carr with his campy "Even I'm getting a semi" broke me. I snorted my drink out my nose.
Never seen that clip of Harriet and Sean. But it was so wholesome and cute but also very funny.
I mean, how do you replace Sean? Who has that same kind of tired sarcastic dad energy, honed to a razor's edge, that perfectly balances people like Jon, Roisin, Jimmy? The show's tone is going to change; I doubt we'll see the likes of him again for a long time.
8:53 a moment where sean actually broke his whole character, layed his hands on hers and all.. proper bloke.
Help an American out... who is the woman in that clip?
@@fretlessman71 i wish i knew.. think i saw the episode once, and think ive seen her somewhere else, but cant remember where from, im not brittish either, so its all foreign to me too😂

the necklace outlasted the friendship :(
The blonde girl with Sean is hilarious. A natural comedian.
I really miss Sean
I never thought I'd miss someone I've never met
How have I never seen Harriet before, she's funny
I wonder if Harriet still has her half of the necklace still
I hope that she has.
I goddamn adore Harriet
Oh man.. I still cant believe Sean lock passed away..what a great comedian he was
Oh Harriet you lovely, and wonderful person. I miss Sean so much, and seeing her like this makes me feel even more sad. I'm happy we could all see this though.
Love how genuinely pissed off sean was about the necklace, missed he is

What a hilarious bummer. I hope she kept her half. I bet Sean probably threw it in his luggage.
I can't imagine asking another guy if I could borrow his underwear. I'd rather just go without.
I miss him so much. I cry about him alot. Rest in Peace Sean. We really fucking miss you man 💗
Where's Miles + Sean giggling talking about Hitler?
This made me laugh so much but I'm crying now too.
How are they going to fill that void left by Sean 😕 whoever it eventually is good luck to you because that’s one hell of a task
Someone mentioned it elsewhere and I think it might work - Joe Wilkinson. He’s a regular on the show. He’s been team captain as well. It’ll be a transition, as Sean was one of a kind and it’ll be different but there’s a familiarity, so there’s a possibility it could work.
@@buggyboogle9 I suspect they'll have rolling g guest captains. But who knows!
They've replaced Sean & Jon for years now.
Sean had to step down for health reason (he's been substituted many times when he was a regular Captain). Dunno with Jon.
The format doesn't really need regular captain anyway. They invited tons of comedians.
@@budle89 One of the best things about Cats Does Countdown is that no matter the mix, the banter is always excellent. Don't know how I'd feel about Joe being a team captain as the other guy further up said, he's a bit too gloomy for my liking (obvious I know that's his character but I just don't find it funny).
@@doctorspockable I don't find him funny either. But others find him funny and his jokes are harmless to anyone. So it's fine with me. Subjectivity on comedy.
Judging from panel shows I've watched and listened, all they need are something controversial and get the banter going and those who got hired will do their job (making the audiences laugh) just fine. Usually the ones hired as regulars or guests can do it fine. I've been listening to many BBC radio comedy programs and British comedy podcasts. Even non comedians are great at banters.
Although I find in the recent times, the western media have been trying to fill diversity quota, so sometimes you find comedians who haven't quite matured in their style and comfortable with banter showing up just because they're not white nor men (happened less in BBC comedy though). That'll ruin the experience for me. But there will be other comedians there to fill my taste on what's funny anyway. So, I can't really complain.
Great stuff. RIP Sean
Man’ll be missed.
Who knew John Richardson had a magical green clarinet
Sean was just awesome
Sean Lock was just the best!
Sean and Harriet as well as Sean and Miles are the best teammates together ahah
Yes! Jon for QI. Why has that not happened yet?
Johnny vegas having a “quick chat” in the toilets with saras boyfriend is deffo code for them doing coke 😂 when he goes “isnt he a deep man” aswell 😂chatting ur head off after a line
No it isn't ... wtf
That’s what the book was for they needed something flat to snort all the drugs off
The guy on the back of the mobility scooter is my old maths teacher 😂
Sean defiantly owned a dog house, I didn't even know he was sick though
He was a professor of logic
Damn, weird how you can miss a man you never even knew.
I don't have any sexual thoughts as I'm writing this, but it's so funny that Susie somehow keeps forgetting her underwear and has to borrow them from Rachel 😂😂
"It feels like we're now visiting Sean after some dreadful accident." Oh you don't know how right you were, Jimmy. You didn't know how right you were.
Great video and end on a high.
The Master, Sean. 💔❤️
That point at 4:42 ! Lol
Harriet and Sean. Wow. She is so cute. Come on Dad. Brilliant.
I wonder if Sean ever went for a two-for-one rail journey with Harriet?
"even I'm getting a semi" 😂
10:24 Sara couldn't have said that better if it was an Only Connect party.
By pure coincidence, the bit at 5:48 about swapping bras was on TV at the same time I was watching this clip.
Harriet is 🔥
I need Joe and Rachel to do a travel show together!
I believe they did
sean was awesome.
There's a way to deal with the kind of thing Sean Lock heard from the young women on his team hear. He did it very well. He was a one-off Sean Lock.
5:40 this will last how long? It's like he knew.
Tragically I think he probably did. He successfully fought off Cancer once but his doctors may well have told him that there was a possiibility it would return
Jon has never been on QI? Is that still the case? If so, I wonder why that is.
