Still not getting it. What you're not making clear is why you're spending so time looking at all the picks. if you see one that fits in the outer and another that fits in the inner, why are you still looking? It may seem obvious to you, but there's a reason people are looking for guides on this. Obviously you need to fill the slots, but far too often I don't have any picks that fit and I don't understand why
I kept thinking this worked like decryption in Mass Effect and I couldn't figure out why the outer ring wasn't disappearing as soon as I had a pick that fit. The game doesn't explain (or I missed it) that you have to fill all of the slots in the ring to remove it. Your video cleared that up.
This video is much better than the first one. Good job. Some thoughts... On a controller, use the D pad to rotate the picks, the right stick to change picks, and the A button to use them. Always quick save before attempting a lock picking session and quick load if you mess up - digipicks are valuable and you never have enough. Counting the spaces for picks on the rings can give you a hint - if there are 5 slots, and you have some 3 picks and some 2 picks, you know you'll need one of each.
This was a better explanation of how this works. That being said you better have at least 6 - 10 picks to make sure you can get them to all line up. That is brutal in early game if you only have 2-3 picks and none of them line up and you start over now you have even less. I don't think that is fair. At least in Fallout and Skyrim if you have enough control and take your time you only need a couple of picks per lock on lower difficulties.
Holy crap. I've been playing maybe a total of five six hours and I did not realize you can use the mouse to select a "pic" this completely changes the game. I've been just undoing, locks and failing
I've noticed you have 4 auto slots available to use. What exactly are they and how do you use them properly? Can they be wasted if not used in the correct manner? Serious question btw.
I didn’t realize that I needed to be a cybersecurity expert in order to play a Bethesda game 😂😂😂😂🤣 didn’t I pay enough money so I didn’t have to sit in class for this? And for what? Some ammo? 🤪🤪🤪 Oh and if anyone is wondering, I do have cybersecurity training and this isn’t something the professors would want to do 🤣🤣. I also do have rank 2 of the security skill and this is still a pain 😅
I don't know....feels like you doing too much i just slot one at a time it's much faster and if im worried about losing too many digipicks fortunately you have unlimited saves lol 🤣
this one is much better explanation of the basics than your first video, thanks for remaking it.
Yeah,now I got it 😮

I would recommend only doing the quick save thing for a master lock because the others are much easier to not mess up and get on the first try.

Finally a clear explanation, thank you!👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, just got the game!
Thank you! These had me totally confused.
Great vid, thank you 👍
This video helped so much, thank you
Thank you!

Much better now!
Bethesda needs to overhaul this mechanic it's unnecessarily complicated.
Well this video perfectly explain this mini game, but the game does a piss poor job in explaining it.
I’d use novice tier locks as users here clearly don’t understand. Why complicate it more?

Excellent explanation thank you. Still a stupid way of making lockpicking. 😂😂
Thank you so much, I genuinely love digipicking now 😂

I'm just not going to bother picking any locks! You only get trash anyway.

Sooooo……..
What you’re saying is that it’s not as hard as Kingdom come Deliverance on Xbox. 😏
