Installation of Trex Fencing Pickets

Here's a quick overview of how Trex fencing pickets are installed. The pickets against the post are attached with three screws. Note how the pickets against the posts are cut down (the installer references them as "dog ear") to create room for the top bracket. Then, the pickets slide into the aluminum bottom rail and interlock. After the pickets are installed, the top rail slides over the pickets and is screwed to the brackets to hold the fence in place.
