Great to see more updates as this becomes more robust. Since I do not have an android tablet, just curious, does this have all the same functionality on your system?
You can attempt to change the resolution of the each face group by using quad remaster. Use the dot stroke and passing over the face group and your painted areas will have more density
For some reason I can't see the individually selected facegroups when in masking. Its like clicking it automatically should mask it, but its not working. Is there a way to set it so that it automasks whatever I click ??
When you are in masking, at the top you should have a new bar that has a face groups tab. Click on it and your face groups should appear for you. Also make sure that you have updated to 1.85 (I am sure you have if face groups is there for you). Let me know if this is what you are looking for.
@Original-Werks Yeah, when you click a face-group in mask mode (with the facegroup button selected in the bar) it should instantly mask whatever facegroup you click. You did it at 0:57. For me it doesn't mask anything and I have to manually draw the mask onto the face group. It looks like you have a one-tap mask mechanism or something. I can't seem to get that to work.
Great video! If you happen to be in contact with the publisher could you ask them to add an erase function so you can erase errors in the painting process so we don't have to start all over when we nee to correct our paint. I'll try using color picker to choose original mesh color and maybe that may help?
so basically, it is a mask that is kinda saved and can be recalled at any time. So you dont have to mask certain parts of the sculpt again and again. Just from a newbie perspective
So, I just checked again. There is an easy way to do this now. Click on Face Group, click on Patch, and then all you need to do now is click on the color that you want to paint on for a face group. Super easy to switch colors at will now. Between the ability to swap colors as needed and using the relax tool, the groups are about unlimited now. Enjoy!
My version of Nomad Sculpt is in Beta testing on my iPad. I have features released for testing before they are out for general release. This should be available soon!
I apologize, I released this video too soon. The update has not been released yet. I get the Beta test version and it updates automatically. This should be out soon hopefully.
It is, I thought it had been released already, my mistake. It should be soon, the testing has been going a while for this build and there are some other very exciting additions to come! Sorry for the premature release.
Can't wait for this update to come out on android!

I know, it is frustrating. I hope that it is something that is added soon!

Yes, that is correct. When sculpting faces or any really detailed object this can really be useful.
Is there a way to continue a face group after lifting the pencil ending the stroke?
As far as I know not yet, I hope that comes into being soon.
