Good Day Coach! Can you show us how really a left handed spike and approach the ball? I'm also left handed that's why.. Your videos helped a lot.. Thanks Coach..
Thank U sir for this amazing video. After watching this I got selected as a national player and I just hit the ball on the face of my opponent...thank u
I'm 159cm but almost the whole length of my right arm goes above the net when I spike. Is that good enough or do I still need to improve on my vertical jump? I can also spike at any position. Thanks in advance for the reply. 😊
Hey Donny! I have a question concerning a small detail in your video just to clarify! As you explained in the "left side hitter footwork" video, you turn your steps at a 45 - 90 degree angle. You do not comment that in this video and neither do you in fact turn your feet away from the net. But when you showed the live game examples, you do in fact turn your ankle towards the outside for extra power, is this just something you forgot in your explanation? In advance, thanks!
Yes referring to right side. I'm pretty sure your feet have an angle in your footage from a live game towards the end of your video. Or is the optimal technique having them straight anyways?
This video was so helpful! I was wondering, can you give me some advice based off of this video but for a lefty? I am left handed so I usually hit on the right side of the court and I have been having a lot of trouble of finding a way to consistently approach the ball. Thanks ElevateYourselfNow! You all are the best!
Thank you so much Coach Donnie. I always thought how I'll be able to spike with my right hand on the worst position side. This video cleared that up on great detail 👍🏼
I have a problem. I jump with my right foot in front, but i spike with my right hand. So, when i jump, i have to turn sides in the air, so i can spike with 100% of my power with my right handy. (Sry for my bad english)
@@lorenzocavaleri9845 i can't do it too. I can't jump as high as i can with my left foot it front, like how i do it with my right foot at front. But now i just use it as my advantage. I jump as high as i can with my right foot in the front, and spike with my right hand.
I am 5.6 feet tall and I am jump well, but when I am going to spiking I unable to hit the poper place of the ball and result is over boundary. Now sir, tell me why it happened and which is the poper place of the ball to hit.
It's kinda hard but once u get the hang of it u can do a light underhand serv to the net then do a fast approach and spike it. It's hard to get the timing right but once u do it's great for putting in reps alone!

does the foot position from the 3- step approach (Straight - 45 degree - 90 degree) also apply for right side spiking?
Hi Coach, can you do a video about the receive techniques (basic and advanced) and common mistakes done by players? thanks. :)
Still Helpful to this day!
Agreed!
Can you do a video on things a player can do to make sure they are keeping the ball in front of them and contacting on top of the ball

How do you jump higher
I imagine the approach would be a bit different for lefties. Where you square your shoulders would be different too.
