There's a difference? Wtf is a indoor vs beach set. They both look like sets. Lol
@@user-lg9mk9wd2l actually it's different. Indoor settings are usually quicker than beach settings due to the movement of setters'wrists and fingers. Another point is that indoors setters usually have jump sets while the beach ones dont . Because playing on the beach require you an extreme physic conditions
@@huanleminh6288 they are the same, you set the ball, one difference you pointed out but the reason for that is so that the outdoor set is meant to make sure that the ball doesn't rotate as much, indoor will call lift on a legit outdoor set :) and they are more forgiving if the ball has a little rotation on it imo :)

Qatar's setter held them back. His low contact allowed double blocks to get set easier on Cherif and the other pin, as well as the timing being off every time in the middle attacks.

Great game, well done USA. First time I see this and I like it more than 2-on-2. This is way more like indoor volleyball. ( Field dimensions are 8x8m ? ) Besides, who would have thought that countries like Qatar and Indonesia were good at this type of volleyball. Well, thinking of it, they have lots of beaches there also and less good players needed than indoors to have a stacked team. And in the tough sand you need real jumpers too, perhaps even more than with indoor 6-on-6. How was it to play this final with that loud African type drums and these Arabian singers all the time ?

What was the call at 8:58?? I’ve watched 3 times and still can’t figure it out
Can someone help me and explain what was the call on 8:58?
It was explained in some other comments, but in this tournament, a block counted as a touch, so they blew the whistle on a 4th touch

Hey volleyball player here quick question. What happened at 8:58 that made it 4 hits?
One of the brothers explained it in another comment but this specific tournament counts a touch off the block as a touch when normally that’s not the case so it was just a subconscious mistake
