I’ve been wanting to make my own press ons (personal use) for ages and this vid was so helpful! It would be awesome if you could do a vid or list with the products and tools you use, even if you put a paywall behind it (with patreon or something), I would really find it useful :) ty!!
Thank you so much for showing how the nails look already being worn..you don't know how satisfying that is for me as someone who loves to watch people painting nails
I have no idea how your videos started playing one day, but I have maybe watched them all, twice. That was about 2 weeks ago. I was about to start doing gel-x nails as a side hustle, but have now officially just started press-on nail business. You’re videos are incredibly informative, encouraging, and gave me just the push I needed. So thank you!! I have been dabbling in art for years without finding a real way to make any money at it, and this really excites me, even though I have hardly a clue yet.
Bruhhh this is incredible!! Press ons are so much easier for me than trying to paint a creative design on my non dominant hand 😅 I finally made some applied them with what I thought was careful execution; but they were popping off after 4 days! I would love your insights on how you best keep ur babies on 💅🏼🙏🏼
How adorable. You’re very talented with your painting to be able to do several sets and have them be almost identical to the T. I found this very informative just as someone who wants to make their own press-ons of the funky designs floating in my head I can’t seem to find elsewhere, so thanks for the process. I’ve done my own nails with gel before and just never liked the direct contact and building up on the nail itself. I sigh every time I put my hand directly under the lamp because the nagging “what if it isn’t cured?” tickles my brain constantly. Press-ons are the way to go forward for me for less of that worry (and so much easier to apply and remove). Godspeed with your business.
Thank you so much for this Vid I'm definitely making you m y go to guru for this. I'm a nail tech and I'm going blind. Since I can't work in a salon I figured I can start my own press on nails. You're an inspiration I appreciate the steps you take doing this.
I love watching your videos. They are very informative and things I wish I knew before I started making mine. Your nail art work is so beautiful. I hope one day I can figure out how to start my own press on business. Thank you for the videos they are so helpful.
I’m starting a press on nail business on the side on top of my jewelry business as well. Best of luck and thank you so much for sharing. I truly appreciate all these great process that you’re sharing with us. ❤
Have you heard of the quarter method for sizing? Where your client takes a photo of their nails with a quarter in the frame, you then match a quarter to size perfectly against the photo and can then size the nails over the photo. What do you know/think about this as a sizing tool?
This is so helpful, and for free, you're an angel :) tysm ! I'm curious about something : i had no idea you had to buff the nails before starting painting, and the product you apply seems to be very thick and wobbly, but when you paint the 1st pink layer, it's all smooth, how so ? I've been wanting for a long time to start doing my own press on nails and your channel is super helpful, ty again so so much, really ♥
Im so excited for your next video! What do you recommend as the first step in creating your press on nail business? I have been looking to start one but have felt so overwhelmed with where to begin because I feel like there's so much to do. I don't mind doing the work and understand it will be a lot of time and responsibility. Im so happy I found your video through Tik Tok. This video was very helpful.
so glad it was helpful! going to hopefully cover all these questions in upcoming videos. First step I would say practice your art/ nails, and start sharing your work (even before you are ready to launch…it takes a while to grow an audience/ following/ build trust w customers!) 💜
Who are the tips for? I ask because normal polish isn't gonna last like gel will. Think of normal polish, like painting your own nails, so yes you can do it - but you will experience the same things your own fingers do with normal polish. Chipping, peeling, scratches, dents, it wears off, etc. So, if these are for yourself, then go for it. To sell to a customer??? I would tell them it's regular polish beforehand... Hope this helps 😊
@@catpride1323 Thanks. I was thinking of doing them for myself and my friends, because i need some skill before selling them. But I really want them to look nice and to last long so probably I would just use gel when I start 🤷🏻♀️
@@Wixi_888 Good choice 😊 Besides I forgot to mention that with polish each set would probably take a week... lol Each layer has to dry.. Gel, is 30 - 60 sec. each layer 😊
Hi Mini Ami! What a super educational video! I'm just new to the nail industry and I also want to start making press on nails. May i ask where you got your nails from? I can't find good nails anywhere… Looking forward to your next video!🫶🏻
Absolutely gorgeous. Would you ever consider making a product list? I have no clue where to get those pre cut double stick tape not the design size of the cards for mounting the nails. Thank you for any response 🙏
‘You nice, keeping going’ are you a BTS fan? 👀 Also I was looking for videos on how to do my own press ons because I don’t want to expose my skin to UV light but still want the look of gel (and I still might try it) but this video just made me want to order from your shop more than anything else 😭 watching how much attention and care you put into your products was incredible. Wishing you more and more success! I’ll definitely be placing an order soon 💕💕
The video was amazing but I’ve been watching several vids based on this top and I’m frustrated not to find the answers I seek :( I’ll keep doing my research but what exactly do we provide to the client to apply the press ons and ensure they are going to hold and last w out damaging their natural nails ????
Can you share what brand and where to buy the non scratch top coat? Also what are you dipping the nails in before adding to the cards? Ive been watching your videos, so inspiring and I’m taking your advice and just getting started! Thank you so much! You do lovely work!
Hi You do a wonderful job ❤ I have a question for you. It seems that I am not able to purchase that prep, apres 3, in ontario, what else would you suggest? Only dehydrator and primer 😢 Thank you very much, and I am looking forward to hearing from you! 😊 Oh and one more thing, as someone just starting out, how would I know what package of nails to purchase for the proper sizing for clients? I see small, medium and large bit are they still numbered like the tips are? Again, thank you for you expertise!!!❤
i've seen you on tiktok!!! i'm so glad you appeared on my youtube home page :-') i was also just getting into press on nails when i realised a 6 led bulb lamp (those mini ones) isn't going to cure my nails completely LMAO (i've placed it in like 6-7 times for 30s and it's still not fully cured) so am waiting to get my hands on a bigger nail lamp TT in the mean time will definitely enjoy ur videos hehehe
I feel like I don’t understand why the very first hot pink layer is necessary? Is to just to match the pink details once applied and you can see the underside of the nail?

I aspire to do this! I’ve always loved painting my nails and nail art in general. I want to practice on myself until one day I am able to create a small at home business where I can sell press on nails
What do you suggest we do in order to be able to wear our press ons without them popping off but also able to be removed without damage? Also if anyone wants to practice making press ons but doesnt have to budget for all the fancy stuff, I recommend Miss A/AOA Studio press on nails. They arent the best but they are fairly sturdy for a dollar per set. You will definitely have leftovers but I just use them to test and practice out designs :D

such a good question - water will only be able to enter if there are bubbles or lifting around the edges. If there is an air bubble in the middle it will likely affect the longevity of the press on but until the edges lift (which is visibly noticeable) you don't really have to worry too much about it. Going to make an application video though to talk about avoiving air bubbles getting long lasting press ons x

Hi!!! Very helpful!!! Thank you 😊 however could you please explain why you painted the tips pink first only to cover them with black and then chrome??
Ela fez isso, pela estética por baixo
You can see the pink from underneath the nail. Just adds a nice touch.
Cann you please list the products? I loved that chrome pen

hi! welcome! the nail tips? they are apres bran, recommend looking up a supplier near you 🫶🫶🫶
how did u deal with the bubble after u saw it though??
Usually I pop them out it creates air bubbles all over the nail sometimes so I just start a new nail
I love it! ❤ But do i need to use UV light? Is that ok to use normal nail polish and then wait for it to dry? 🙃

Where do you buy the clear press on nails. They look harder than the one you get on aliexpress
Are you topping the nail with the builder gel then curing before painting?
can you make a video about determining pricing?
this is so helpful! i was wondering though if using gel x tips is any different to using other tips in the application and removal process?
