Helinox customer service, in my opinion is awesome ! My chair zero broke in the middle of a nine day canoe camping trip. When I got home I contacted them and they said send a photo. One of the sewn pockets that a leg of the chair came un sewn and made it useless. The company sent me a new fabric part of my chair ! I could not have expected any more. Top notch customer service ! Smart move on the part of Helinox. I’ve seen a few videos where backpackers break their chairs. I doubt they knew they could just ask for a replacement part.
Good on Helinox for stepping up. Did they give you feedback as to the possibe cause ? Am guessing the cold/aluminum combo (maybe) due to the break type ?

I had a similar experience with my Chair zero on the cross pole (the largest one). They sent me a replacement and instructions on how to do the repair. I was 4.5 years into the warranty

They didn’t provide feedback. I’m sure there are so many variables. It could be the cold. That makes sense.
