Today let's go down to our local Redevelopment and Housing Authority to see how to add one of my houses to their list of available housing. In most cases this is all on the internet at www.Gosection8.com, but some cities still require us to come down to the office and fill out the paperwork.
You see it's a very simple process and only takes a few minutes, but it must be done right or your house won't hit the list for the prospective tenants to see it so they can contact you.

There needs to be a GOOD Landlord GOOD Tenant Matching Agency; for Section 8, because everybody is not fraudulent, breaking the rules, living criminal life or even bringing that into their homes. Some of us are religious people, that believe in God and live right, and really truly want a GOOD home.
This is exactly my thoughts, There has to be some great Section 8 peeps that are looking for a great landlord to take care of the home they live in. I firmly believe....

sure, you can use a prop manager at any time, but these tenant's rent is pretty stable. After you stop using them, you may want to.. good question.

How does one make sure we get a tenant that will be approved for the rent we are looking for . Usually we can put only one tenants paper work at the time . How much do they qualify for?
You won't know 100% until you turn in the application to the Housing dept. BUT, based on the tenant's current rental situation will give you a key indicator of what they qualify for UNLESS their status is changing and house getting smaller or bigger.
And do buy wholesale properties in NY and NJ?

Do you know any GOOD landlords in Los Angeles? Because I'm an excellent tenant and I have been on the program for almost 19 years with no problems, (NONE) but you just can't find good decent places or non slumlords in Las Vegas for two bedroom vouchers it's ridiculous I've had three back-to-back slumlord situations.

Why are landlords asking for credit reports and rental history? I'm disabled and elderly and I can't afford anything but to try and rent with a section 8 voucher! It's why I applied for section 8.
What if I require Two (2) months rent security deposit will Sec 8 pay it?
Usually from my experience they only pay 1 month
But when you do section 8, do they tend to leave it trashed? And when they do trash it can you kick them out? All the people I know personally who are section 8, have pets, house has been messed up by the pets, they smoke weed and drink and party all the time, not something I want in our house

Yes, the inspectors come out and inspect 1st b4 the tenant can move in. It part of doing business
They do here and the people have to go to Class and then it up to them about find place it has to be big free and no window broke and min is 500 is here for up to 4 bed and the deposit the client responsible and then pet th err y have to be as ble under10 lbs they come to inspect if it pass inspection your place up
wow, $500 for a 4bdrm, that's really low. How do they get the mortgage paid on that?
@@krishaskins the landlord gets on 350 and then I pay the 190 the highest rent for hud is 600 but since I'm on his for 4 years can I up and they said yes as long land lord got rent I have to pay electric witch is only 50 and my water is only 20mo the nat gas is only 60 mo for the gas every month I mow 2 acres

Yes, they don't ask whether you had a felony or not, They only want to make sure you can supply the proper housing my friend. BUT, ge educated on the process 1st and the tenant screening BEFORE you jump in, you'll be glad you did....

well, we don't get multiple loans, we go in and take over debt from other people not personally signing for the loan so we can buy an unlimited amount of houses. change your mindset and you'll see how it's done, start at my channel we can show you how...

WHAT??!!??1😵😵😵Looks like we gotta get you trained up on how we title our real estate, we always use LAND TRUSTS. Here's how I do it: ua-cam.com/users/liveqCydqKYJnhU, next... You can own the house in whatever title you want, you can then use any tax ID you want w/ the housing dept. They don't check title, they only check the lease..
Go ahead and put your property on section 8 as long as you don't mind it getting trashed by the tenants and you cannot do a damn thing about it. You just have to make repairs and take it. When they leave it will probably cost you more than you got in rent to clean it up and repair it just so another section 8 tenant can move in and trash it.
