Do YOU Really Need NEURAL DSP?!

- In this one, I've compared a NEURAL DSP plugin, called ARCHETYPE GOJIRA X with a FREE AMP SIM, called AMPED-ROOTS.
I tried to simulate the gojira's effects with free plugins, but how did they do against professional, pricey amp sim? CHECK IT OUT!

IMO, Neural DSP has too many plugs that are too expensive for what it is, and it's all pretty much the same thing with slight differences. What they have, which is attractive, is the collabs with famous guitarists. I would highly recommend Blue Cat Audio's Axiom. A much more sensible use of finances. And you can do whatever you want with it and not be limited like NDSP.
Totally get that, the plugin number is overwhelming.. it was difficult to choose from, but I think, that you won't do anything wrong, buying a NDSP plugin in sale.. The pricetag might be otherwise too much, but the guitarist's collabs and the tones from famous guitarists, which you can explore, definitely justifies it. I am in love with the plugin for now! The blue cat's axiom is nonetheless definitelly an interesting option too, it's just a lot pricier..
So i have both of these and i use Djinn bass and with djinn bass I think Gorjira sounds better in the mix
Totally agree on that! It's the best, when I split the djinn bass and have the low end clean and high end distorted!

Every single one of my plugins were free up to buying this amp sim 😂 I know, that one of the amps on amped-roots has similar presence stuff happening, as the gojira, but am not sure, because it is not the free one.
