Remove Stuck Dryer Vent Cleaning Brush | Retrieve Lost Cleaning Brush from Dryer Port

I'm not proud to say this happened to me after I told myself not to let it. But here we are. I made this jig and you can make anything that resembles it. It's the general idea of how to retrieve it that I want to convey.
Depending on where your dryer port is from the dryer, you may need a lot of extension rods and you may not need any.
One of the most overlooked maintenance items of a house is the dryer vent and duct. Everyone knows about the lint trap, but the significant build up is not only a fire hazard but causing your dryer to run inefficiently... costing you more money and taking longer for your clothes to dry, all the while making your dryer run harder which shortens the longevity.
There are numerous ways to clean your dryer vents. You can use the kit like I did, you can attach a blower, or they make special hoses to run compressed air through the ducts and vents. This is one of the easiest and cost effective!

Secure the hanger better!! Lol. Just kidding. But the general idea of getting both out remains the same. Try to use a different claw like end that can slide/pull the hanger out
