@@hrsuzz we will carry out this mission
Seriously, Who's Kylie Jenner? Is she like Elun Musk? Or Ronda Rousy?
The live vs. dead food concept is actually an amazing way to view ingredients
most ingredients dont die untill crushed up dried or have heat applied to it
The more dead foods we eat... The quicker we.....
Important ant to eat live foods
I remember someone saying jamaicans view it the same way
@@Noviosity Unless you are a cannibal or eat live animals, all you eat is technically dead.
Yes
“ I give it hands up, I mean, thumbs up”. Iron Chef is a national treasure.
“Sugar, spice, nothing alive, everything’s dead” sounds like a mutated powerpuff girl. 😂
Or an emo/dead inside powerpuff girl...actually sounds interesting tbh
hahaaha
Powerpuff girls are technically mutated but i get what your saying this is like what it takes to make evil powerpuff mutated girls 😆
Sounds like our generation hahaha

Iron chef Dad would shred Ramsey.

Two completely different scenarios What a stupid take - Spoiler alert -All the animals are dead
I love that you thanked your dad for filming with you. Many people didn't have a dad or had a bad dad. Seeing your relationship is a nice recalibration of my understanding of what its like to be a son/daughter.
There are more possibilities than what we grew up knowing.
May not help me with my dad but helps me with the office of fatherhood.
Agree, same here. I'm not yet a father but i'm an uncle.
You are a highly intelligent man and resilient. 💪🏽🙏🏾 👏🏽😘
I love your dad’s reaction to the first video. He was very thoughtful in his response and his assessment of the sauce. I appreciate that he considered the history of the poster’s geographic location and the accessibility of the ingredients. He is honest and tries to understand where people are coming from and considers things like generational differences. And his responses to unhealthy food make me think about what I eat myself. I learn a lot from him and value your channel and content.
really well said. as a reforming food snob, i appreciate all of these qualities too, and enjoy taking his lessons on board. dude has mad empathy, whilst also being culinarily on point, and a supportive dad. i respect him enormously.
Not gonna lie, I follow this channel because of how cool your dad is lol
Me too but I like this guy more then the other bros he is so laid back cool and not merch pushing every vid or name dropping Drizzy, even
His dad seems more relax with jet

I lost it when he said, "is that her face?" I can't stop laughing at that comment.
to be fair, it 100% isn't her original face...so he's right to wonder that.
Me too everytime I see a comment on it I start laughing all over again
Same 🤣🤣😂
Do girls actually think thats attractive? Or is that just to flex on other girls?
this was such an asian dad comment LOL
Your dad is a big and special part of my childhood. As a adult I work full time as a private chef now, but when I was growing up I watched so many hours of Iron chef and food network. Those hours inspired alot of my work now.

i can feel his dad’s disappointment in this generation
It’s really strong in this video......
But I have to agree with him, everything (or most) of this generation is disappointing.
@@eftrinexx9605 I think it’s worse that there’s old men on there getting kids to twerk or interact with them. Also I think tiktok was created by a millennial or older because the oldest gen z is in their early twenties
I already feel the same amount of disappointment despite being a young person. I can't relate to this generation 😅
No he is disappointed in this generation
I mean yeah he’s disappointed but he doesn’t exude judgement and he is trying to understand.
Your dad is legit. I enjoy listening to him talk!
I love how even though his dad is a chef he is also humble and likes to educate people on cooking

I LOVE how he values alive food! This guy is so wise!!
I love the way he says "son". Something about it just feels so wholesome and pure
I remember in 7th grade i made my first real friends and i was set to sleep over at one’s house. I remember when his dad picked me up and said “ready for the big night, son?” I thought he was mocking me because i never heard my dad call me anything like that in a positive way. Always to make me feel bad about something or manipulate me
Needless to say we had many wonderful sleepovers and i’ll forever appreciate him

Your father is an absolute gem of a human being. I love your relationship together, you embrace his specialty as an IRON chef and he embraces yours as an online entertainer. I hope you realize how lucky you are and I wish many years and good health to both of you.
“I don’t know what your generation likes, but I just have to live with it in disappointment.”
Boy o boy that's true
thats a real adult talking
The way your dad explains the unhealthy foods makes me want to eat healthier lol
same hah
do it! it can taste just as good and after a while you won't even like the unhealthy food as much anymore. it will taste too sweet, fatty etc And small changes can make a big difference, for example, don't drink any sweetened drinks (stick to mostly water), replace the bad fats with the good, try to eat some kind of vegetable every day, eat slow, try to eat within 10-12 hours if possible (that gives your body 12-14h of fasting)
once you tasted real food, you'll never want to go back to junk food.

I came across this and recognized your Dad Susur Lee and thought, Oh, this will surely be entertaining, seeing him aghast at TikTok food videos. Must admit I chuckled out loud at a few points. Respect to your Dad…as a Canadian I’ve watched him on a number of Canadian and American cooking competitions. Watching him on Top Chef Masters was one of my faves. I also love his story and the sheer determination and hard work he’s displayed. You picked some great videos to show him. Will check out other videos of yours.

Yall are awesome. Keep it up. So cool to see the bond yall have as well. It is encouraging to know that some of the younger generations still have respect for their parents and elders

Love the relationship you have with your pops.
Dude! Take care of your Dad, he is AMAZING. You are extremely blessed.
Definitely seems like a healthy-eating chef! He is so focused on how everyone is not using "live food" and just adding lot a way of of butter and other fats.

Great video bro these are all great, one thing I would say though is the end where dad is explaining citrus and fat was very interesting maybe we can get more of that type of content for the home chefs 🙌🏽🙌🏽 this is one of my favorite UA-cam channels thanks dudes!
I used to watch your dad's show, it's been a while but I am still fan of his down to earth and that carefree demeanor. Looking at you, seems like your parents have done a wonderful job! Stay that way!
I'm really happy for your dad. He clearly shows that he appreciates and respects food. He respects the ingredients and he respects flavor. He has such a wealth of knowledge on the different tastes and flavors, and his mind is always turning on "How can I make it taste better" and "Will it taste good?" At least, that's what I gathered from this video.
I also really appreciated his comments on how to make food taste better, such as the need for citrus in fatty dishes to really bring out the rich flavor of the fat when it came to wagyu.
Overall, I'm really happy that your dad has such a strong passion. I look forward to watching more of your videos!
