I agree totally with your advice about the importance of these character strengths, and my own experience has taught me how often these things are not respected, and the negative impact on musical experiences (even simple things like commitment to rehearsal times or willingness to spend extra time to deal with a difficult pasage).

I’m the only reliable musician I have found. I get along pretty well with others but in spite of my many efforts to find others to play with, solo seems to be the only arrangement I can count on.

Tough situation to be in. Keep looking, though - once you find a good fit then they can contribute to great music making for years to come...
