So many choices with many options, Looking forward to seeing what you decide and come up with! My first thought is to put the 6 cylinder and trans in the Ventura, for now...
That's a nice collection. Always wanted to combine a Pontiac Ventura with a warmed-over Sprint 6--i think Pontiac dropped the ball by not offering that combo after the gas crunch. Nearly got a hatchback Nova shell to attempt it. Back in my day, the whole idea with a Nova was they were cheaper to insure than a Camaro, so often didn't get too shiny until the young owner was old enough to have a steady job and afford more than an Earl Schieb paint job.
My late best friend, "Breeze," had a '69 Nova with a 427 big block, 4 speed, 5.38's, and was radically built when we first met in 1977 (he was 21 and i was 16 with a '69 SS396 Chevelle,) so seeing all these Novas takes me back to that time. I got out of the car hobby a little over 30 years ago, and now that I am approaching retirement age, the value of these old cars has just gotten astronomical. Even basket cases. But I hope to get back into it at some point, and your channel, along with others, takes me back to my glory days of hot rodding. Thanks for all you do!
Looks like the Ventura is going to be an "over the winter" I'll work on it car. Its my favorite my Dad had a 73 Ventura Sprint with a 350 Pontiac and console shift. I think 3 cars is the sweet spot though 1. for you, 1. for drag racing, and 1. for driving and having fun with the family and with your budget I dont see how you can afford more unless you build 1. to sell and make a little cash as a side hussle that gets rid of all your old used parts. Looking forward to what comes next.
You're approaching hoarder status! J/K I have owned 3 Novas starting back in 87-88 time frame and have enjoyed everyone of them. I currently own a 74 Nova hatchback with a 5.3 LM7. I'm going to race it , God willing ,in May and see what it runs in the 1/8th. Keep 'em on the road!
Your cousin Riley in Flagstaff Az turned me on to your channel today. As soon as I saw that 69 Nova I was hooked, I was driving a 1969 307 nova when my wife and I got married in 1973. Great channel, I will be watching your progress.
Love all your novas. Even the lowly Ventura because who doesn't like being able to switch from small blocks to big blocks, technically, in a car with ease. Just needs a Nova front clip and bumpers. Man, I miss my 72 Nova. Was my grandma's car then mine at 15 yrs old when she passed. Memories. Lol
Dan go snag the ‘69 chevelle outta my dad’s garage and add it to your fleet. In all seriousness man awesome to see you doing things you love and hope the family is good!
Hey man! Things are good and the family is great. Hope all is well with you and your family! I didn’t know your dad still had that car! I thought he sold it a few years ago I was pretty sure he listed it for sale.
You are doing some great things for your Chanel . You give the regular guy some hope . The fact they don’t have to be perfect to drive and enjoy them encourages me every time I watch . Congrats on your new to you storage facility
Ive had 2 Novas and a Ventura, one Chevelle, one Impala, and one Camaro, 3 Mavericks, a Comet, a Falcon, 2 Torinos, 2 Mustangs, and a Fairmont. But I'm REALLY a MOPAR guy! 3 Chargers, 3 Satellites, 2 Coronets, 2 Darts, 2 Polaras, and a Valiant! And about 15 trucks!
Got my old, never restored, gutted out raked, spray bombed, zero frills ( including wipers or a horn) , '80s modified 72 nova . And yeah, my wiring is everywhere too. It's awesome
I’m so stoked to see the ‘69 Nova get some love! I too watched that episode of Big Muscle with the nova. It was my beginnings of a love for ratty muscle cars
You are one of my favorite UA-camrs, my first car was a 74 Nova, I have the best memories in that car. Everytime i watch your channel it rekindles my passion for Nova's.. then my bank account slaps me back into reality 😂.. i have hopes of finding something in my price range sitting in someone's field or garage somewhere ready for me to come save it. Really appreciate you sharing love for these cars with us.
I hate to be the correction police but Kurt Urban’s Nova had two Rotrex superchargers on it, I love that car as well, it made it ok to have a car that’s all about performance and not shiny paint jobs. 👍🏻
Love the collection! The junk yard 70 is my favorite! Love the story and journey and can’t wait for more, the Ventura will be amazing just like all the others!!!! Thanks Dan and tell the wife us UA-cam fans appreciate her letting you do UA-cam and spend money 😂
Lookin' good! Watched a few of your random videos during the last few weeks and I've enjoyed them all. I just subbed so I'll have to start watching everything in order.
You asked which is our favorite. Damn, that's impossible for me to pick. I love them all, even the dodge. I'm stuck with 1st gen s10s. All the crack heads around here junked all the cool old cars rather then get a job. I been wanting a nova for my wife and just can't find one. These people around here that do have them for sale , well cars you are building people would ask 7 grand for. It's crazy here.
I’d throw the 307 in the Ventura and get it driving then send it down the road, put the motor from the run stand in the 307 car, throw a LS in the 6 cylinder car with a five speed with the money from the Ventura, re-allocate resources, make better
Hey, what's going on? If you don't mind ,what is that number for that guy who knows all about tuning carburetors ? I have a 750 holley, and my motor is running way too rich ,l would like to talk with him Thanks again for your help.
Don't count the 6 cylinder out so fast.🤔 A set of cheap sbc aluminum heads from the Bay of e, some strategic cutting and welding and you have a aluminum L6 head that flows around 250 intake CFM that can support 375 N/A L6 HP.😯 Put a turbo on it and crank it up. Also if you want to increase the low end torque, I'm assuming that is a 250 Chevy L6 if so it has the same bore as a 292 and one of those cranks will drop right in the 250 block. With a.030" over bore and an extra .100" of stroke you can get the cubes up to 304 cubes.🤯 Here's the deal, there are guys that strategically cut a set of LS heads and welded them together to bolt on a Ford 300. But no one has done this with a Chevy L6 250 or 292, you can be the first. Although this is a very advanced build if you don't mess with the stroker part, it would be relatively inexpensive. We're talking about fabricating an intake manifold and headers on top of altering the set if heads. A custom intake doesn't have to be made out of aluminum.😉😎👍
Hey good morning my name is JOSE Nieves my dream car is a 69 OR 70 NOVA MY MOM HAD ONE BLUE WHEN IWAS A LIL KID MY QUESTION IS DO YOU SALE ONE OF THOSE NOVAS

I like them all definitely want to se Ventura build up
Keep up the good work. Enjoy watching you and kids. Ready to see Pontiac smoke the tires.

Lots of great projects. Would be cool to see a big block in the Ventura.

My favorite is the Duster but I like seeing you save all the old muscle cars.

Great video
Ventura is my favorite
Build them all
Got my old, never restored, gutted out raked, spray bombed, zero frills ( including wipers or a horn) , '80s modified 72 nova . And yeah, my wiring is everywhere too. It's awesome
Watching these videos I regret selling my ratty nova keep up the awesome work
I'm really missing my 68 Nova I had in high school and college.
I’m so stoked to see the ‘69 Nova get some love! I too watched that episode of Big Muscle with the nova. It was my beginnings of a love for ratty muscle cars
Love your channel the nova and the duster need a big block and it would be easier and not to expensive
congrats on the storage space brother! great idea keeping the fleet indoors where it’s dry

Love it man! You’re living the dream. 🤘🏻
Love the content 👌 had a 71 ventura 2 with a 327 chevy from a 69 impala I bought wrecked it was a mean car when I got it done loved it
My vote is the Ventura, but I’m partial to it cause I have one! 😁. Any and all X body content is also A OK.
Love the channel and your content it really resonates with us home build guys. Keep up the good work we'll be watching💪
Nice Tour. Thanks. Best of luck to all projects.
A 74 nova was the car that got me into cars. Your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites, keep up the good work.
Great cars I got to go start my 78 Cadillac and 89 chevy pickup
I hate to be the correction police but Kurt Urban’s Nova had two Rotrex superchargers on it, I love that car as well, it made it ok to have a car that’s all about performance and not shiny paint jobs. 👍🏻
Great video can't wait for the motor swap.
That nova that you were inspired by is local to me now and it’s twin supercharged. It has power your stickers still on it from 2008
Love the collection! The junk yard 70 is my favorite! Love the story and journey and can’t wait for more, the Ventura will be amazing just like all the others!!!! Thanks Dan and tell the wife us UA-cam fans appreciate her letting you do UA-cam and spend money 😂
Totally agree, the SBC on the run stand might not be your end goal but for the meantime it’s better then the six
Looking forward to your updates on the cars
Great! You ever notice there's always money to buy another one, but never enough to finish them?! I too have a problem with collecting projects....
I'm almost positive I passed this warehouse recently and saw one of the novas outside. Not gunna do you but i am in jersey too!
Not gunna dox*
Awesome collection! I have a 72 ss and are rebuilding it so your channel inspires me to move forward. Thanks
Loving your engine rest stand
Lookin' good! Watched a few of your random videos during the last few weeks and I've enjoyed them all. I just subbed so I'll have to start watching everything in order.
Mike needs to start his own channel.
I second this
Wish I had the time, money and motivation to have multiple projects going on.
Was watching this on my big screen and HAD to send you a message. I too have a six cylinder Nova. I would love to see what you do with yours.
The Ventura can wait for winter
I would daily the jenko.
Don't get rid of the Ventura That's a iconic muscle car
Yeah, not really. There ain't no Yenko 427, SD 455, or Hurst VENTURAS.
Definitly keep the pillars.

I like the ‘69.id put a 406/tko in it and drive the wheels off it!
Nice
fat steelies and dogs the best!
Do you happen to have an extra middle headliner bow you would be willing to help out a fellow nova guy with.
What headers did you put on your new motor for the 69? I'm trying to find some where they don't block my spark plugs for racing
I’d throw the 307 in the Ventura and get it driving then send it down the road, put the motor from the run stand in the 307 car, throw a LS in the 6 cylinder car with a five speed with the money from the Ventura, re-allocate resources, make better

Thanks again for your help.
Did Mike break the windshield in his car yet ?
Haha
What job do you have that you can afford 3 novas and a rare Ventura?
Nova, ventura and a ratty Dodge🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏼
Interested in selling the Ventura hood?

You can stuff the 350 in the Venture or the L6 idea in it later because that is the 6 that car would of came with if it came with a 6.😎👍
Wheres the apollo
Ya got 4 X-bodies. Ain't that kinda redundant? And theyre all slow! Why dont ya sell your least favorite 2, and make your 2 favorites FASTER?
Give me your address and I will send you 2 batteries. That's ridiculous
Haha
your ‘69 deserves a 502 with a pro charger at least
