Thats exactly what i've been doing. Kind of the similar idea with psychedelics and then coming back and integrating the expereince. I will spend time doing repetitive movements, up and down the scales, with different interval routines. And once i've levelled up a notch after a week or two. I go back to creative mode and see whats up. I do that for a while until i feel i've exhausted and reached my limit. Then i go back and and practice theory.

Perspective is so important and can really form hyper awareness and understanding of yourself and your tendencies. The exploration process is key. You have to understand your strengths and weaknesses. Keep on shredding! 💪🏼
Fantastic video. I think that this is the most quality lesson that I've seen in a long time, to be totally honest. Every guitar instruction video goes toward mechanics, and never touches on what matters: The soul.
If your soul doesn't sing, your instrument doesn't sing; regardless of what that instrument is, music comes from within. In order to be able to utilize any given instrument, you really must contemplate concepts and think on your own. Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai aren't going to make your fingers move for you - you've gotta figure it out on your own, and if you can't do that on for yourself, then who will?
Great messaging, and I think that people can learn more from the ~60 seconds of guitar playing in this 13 minute video than a vast majority of instructional videos on the internet.

It’s such an important factor and through mechanics and exercises you can find the soul, you just have to be willing to look for it. It’s all about mindset.

Hi. Cool video. The guitar journey is definitely eternal. There is always something new to learn or to improve and for me, that is what makes guitar interesting. I agree that theory and scales are great but creativity allows the player to express themselves.
