The defense really just had to be hell bent on trying to limit big plays and TCU did a great job adjusting to overcome that. Michigan's offense did excellent scoring 39 points in the second half. Because of the first half, the defense was not in the same position as previous games to do what they did shutting teams down. All of the games pre-TCU were Michigan leading or trailing by
