Our 60th win over ohio state, putting our series record at 60-51-6 MICHIGAN. No team has beaten that SOFT, inferior program down there more than we have.
There were a few huge moments in this game, but that was certainly one of them. I would argue that one of the biggest sequences was the Ohio State holding penalty (negating a big pass play) + the 15-yard headbutting. That set the down and distance at 1st and 35, and OSU never truly recovered from thereon out.
Yeah that's a huge swing. If he doesn't make that, the buckeyes are within 4 with 7 minutes to go. Plenty of time for their prolific offense. That was absolutely the key play of the game.
@PECKERWOOD249 you rock realize OSU said they changed their signs before this game, right? So what you're saying is just flat out dumb. You got your ass kicked, and will again.
Somewhere in Nashville, Hassan was glued to the TV like the rest of us, watching # 7 run all over the Buckeyes the way He did it to them last year, and you know he was loving it like the rest of us.
@@albertmezher9219 And I love how they each did it to OSU in different ways. Haskins, when he wasn't carrying 5 Buckeyes 6 more yards for a 1st down, he was hurdling those Suckers, and scoring at will, it seemed like. And then we have Edwards, who just said " Ah, Hell with it, I'm just gonna Bust Loose and Burn Down the Field all the way to the House on these Fools!! Twice!!". 2 Awesome Saturdays a year apart.
I’m in the marching band and at 36:16 the song we played is called Hot Time in the Old town Tonight and it was the touch down song a hundred years ago before the victors was written and now we only play it when absolutely embarrassing a team
Our original fight song that predated The Victors! That's the song that was played by the Michigan Marching Band when Fielding Yost's teams won 4 straight National Championships from 1901-1904. I think McCarthy and Edwards wanted to stick it to Day for the way he treated them while recruiting. He actually told McCarthy he should look elsewhere because OSU was going in a different direction.
I think McCarthy had a good day, but after no longer having to compete with Cade McNamara, it was exactly what I expected of him during 2022 (unless he got hurt). I thought the player who really stood out was Edwards. When it was clear Blake Corum wasn't coming back in? You could tell Edwards knew he had to step up, and went from giving his all to giving his all PLUS some. He almost broke loose a couple times before that first long run TD in the 4th quarter. And then when he 'iced it' with that second long run TD with 3 minutes to play? *DAMN!* That was cool! _It's even more impressive when you consider up that until this game, Edwards wasn't having a very good year!_ You've really got to hand it to him! One last thing while I'm typing away..... I've *GOT* to mention Sainristil saving that TD in the corner of the end zone when he batted the ball away. I think that was one of the best plays I've *_EVER_* seen him make. *Go Blue!*
The play at @27:50 was so good. That's 6. The receiver had his hands on it and secured until Sainristil knocked it out before he could get a foot down. Perfect play. One of several he had that game
In my opinion this one was more impressive than last year's win against them. This year they had to do it in enemy territory and without their star player. Great win Blue!! 〽
Yeah I agree last year we had all the elements in our favor at home, star players both offensively and defensively healthy, two freaks of a nature d lineman in Hutch and Obi so we lost that and everything this year was in their favor our stud of a Rb(no offense to our second in command Rb because he's a stud also) was injured, they were at home
Michigan's first win over Ohio State in Columbus since the 38-26 win in 2000. That 2000 Ohio State vs. Michigan Game turned out to be John Cooper's last game in Columbus as Ohio State Football Head Coach. Just one and a half months after that and the day after the Buckeyes lost to South Carolina in the Outback Bowl, John Cooper was fired because of his 2-10-1 record against Michigan.
Imagine you’re the HC at OSU: You get your ass beat last year to your arch rival, get called out by your arch rival’s HC for being born on 3rd base, fire some of your staff to change things around, vow for revenge on your arch rival, plan around stopping a Heisman candidate, and yet somehow someway, get your ass beat even harder this time around!
Well, I know one way of getting back at them would be to jump around in the middle of a circle of your players blowing a whistle trying to get them hyped up.

Still a dumb move to plant a flag. We all know the record we have with ms. tate after Mike Hart's comment. Here's to hoping they don't do the same next year.

A Buckeye commentator said it best: "When Harbaugh needed a play he had a linebacker throw the ball. When Ohio State needed a play they punted." Welcome back to the rivalry.
Jim harbaugh just kicked Ryan days ass at home called him starting at 3rd base and then kicked his ass again the next year at the shoe that's incredible
OSU tried to make adjustments in the 3Q to avoid giving up the big play, and UM went back to the ground-and-pound. Talk about taking what the defense gives you.
Yep, really made them play Michigan's style after that jittery first quarter. In a way Corum being out was sort of a blessing -- forced M to play left-handed and then boom back to right handed in the second half.
Mich/OSU last Top 3 Matchups 11/18/ *06* + 11/26/ *16* = *22* Jim Harbaugh last win in Columbus: November *22* , 1986. Donavan Edwards with *22* carries and *2* long rushing TDS in the *2nd* half. Michigan beats OSU by *22* in Columbus for the First time in *22* Years. Ohio State *2nd* straight loss in *2* different Stadiums. The wrongs finally turned into rights on this day! GO BLUE!
it's great to beat OSU AGAIN... BUT it's not over, we HAVE to beat Purdue and if we do... TCU (should be kinda easy also) then god knows who in the championship
5th’ish watch through. I’m really noticing the mental grit differences; one of many reasons why we won. I remember this moment when watching live: 7:56 Will Johnson lays a shoulder into Stroud… PS. I LOVE how hard that kid hits… Stroud wasn’t gonna run again. Also, when that one corner tied up Bell, RB was like “chill, let go. Play over…” It was getting in their heads. OSU expected an easy win. Michigan TRAINED HARD for a win through the breaking of wills. That’s exactly what we got. I kept telling my son: The angrier they get, the more we are going to win. Then that PF head butt happened… I knew it was all but time. PPS. 14:12 another shot of the mental game slipping away and the will to fight breaking.
Absolutely love every second of that ass beating, missing Heisman candidate and Mike Morris and coming on top 45 to 23 was just beautiful. If those bombs do get in to the playoffs I hope Georgia spanks them we spanked TCU or USC and we get our redemption on Georgia. I've seen a few comments saying Michigan can't be Georgia ,,,, wrong Michigan and Georgia are the two best teams in the nation have been the two best teams in the nation all year and we got a good shot and taking them down especially with JJ and having CORUM back !!! Jobs not done yet!!!! GOOOOOO BLUUUE BABY!!!
Wonder what the excuse will be this year? Had osu fans tell me last year was a fluke and we would get spanked this time. OSU WHAT HAPPENDUH. What a play by Sanstrill

Thank you for the podcast, been looking forward to seeing a long highlight recording. Yes, the team down south had a bad Day!
Still make me feel good even on a day when I don't feel all that good. Just come back to watch highlights of this! Go Blue!
I never get tired of watching this game. Go Blue!
This was such an epic game and win . I'm so glad my Wolverines are back 👊
Did not realize that it is Benny who is making the hit on Stroud when he tries to pitch it forward while going down. Great job Rayshaun!!!!!!!!!
I could watch this all day.
All day long baby 😜 Go blue! 🤘🏽〽️💛💙
Sorry I just can't stop watching this highlight reel GO BLUE BABY!
😜〽️💙💛
OSU tried to make adjustments in the 3Q to avoid giving up the big play, and UM went back to the ground-and-pound. Talk about taking what the defense gives you.
Yep, really made them play Michigan's style after that jittery first quarter. In a way Corum being out was sort of a blessing -- forced M to play left-handed and then boom back to right handed in the second half.
Even as an SEC fan I can’t deny the sparks that fly when these teams meet. Any stadium those row play each other in becomes a war zone.
The defense really saved the game in the first half where it could have easily been 17-3 buckeyes.
When ever I have a bad day, I watch this video...and smile: so happy my team isn't soft like OSU.
Instant CLASSIC! Go Blue!
only thing you missed was jj doing his queen of england wave to the osu fans in the stadium. or did i miss it?
Interesting fact: in 2022, Michigan beat its biggest rivals Michigan State and Ohio State both by 22 points.
Michigan state& ohio state football fans crying & saying wait until next years
Notre Dame and Penn State are bigger rivals than the felons in EL
Mich/OSU last Top 3 Matchups
11/18/ *06* + 11/26/ *16* = *22*
Jim Harbaugh last win in Columbus: November *22* , 1986.
GO BLUE!
Wow that was great
Cue The X-Files theme

Last year was an exorcism. This year was a statement. Forever Valiant #GoBlue !
First time rewatching as a Buckeye 😂. For the rivalry, I am glad UM leveled up. It makes it even more exciting of a game-another banger in 2023.
it's great to beat OSU AGAIN... BUT it's not over, we HAVE to beat Purdue and if we do... TCU (should be kinda easy also) then god knows who in the championship
Donovan Edwards! Touchdown Michigan! The DON!
This is like my 50th time watching these replays
waited to watch highlights for your video. 40 minutes! It was that kind of day
28:53 Joel knew
Joel Klatt “Jim Knowles needs the stop of his life. They need a stop.”
Next play 7 gone
These who stay will be Champions! Go Blue! 🏈
Isn’t hat all!!!
If Michigan beats Purdue next week, can u update your logo so it says BIG CHAMPS and then underneath 2022
He probably will
And we’re gonna derail Purdue
Even if it takes being down by 3 at halftime
GO BLUE WE OWN OHIO.
A typical osu fan would probably disagree
But I Agree because I’m a Michigan fan
Have to admit 23 out of the last 25....ain't bad...giggles!!!!
@@harryhandsome8090 have to admit Michigan leads all time series 60-51.. we own you
@@harryhandsome8090 and 1 AP POLL ERA CHIP IN 1937....GIGGLES!!!
I'LL TAKE MY 9 CHIPS....MORE GIGGLES!!!
Knew this game was ours if we just kept our composure. And we did. Go Blue!
Somehow, they topped last year. Hail to the Victors
Moving Sanristil to cb was the best coaching decision in Harbaugh's tenure
Shoutout to Fox for that intro before the game. Gave me chills!
Jim Harbaugh eats steaks and drinks whole milk. Ryan Day eats chicken and drinks soy milk. #nervousBirds
As an old Michigan fan, I remember us getting gouged by Ohio on those big plays, lets enjoy this, but remember, the shoe always drops on the other.. Let's hope we can keep this going for a few years.
Whoa, Edwards witnessing big-time at the end, there. He who is tied above does not stumble below.
Pick so nice had to put it in twice 31:17
I thought something was wrong with my internet lol
*ATTENTION BUCKEYES!!* _We're going to make it THREE IN A ROW!_ *You've been warned.*
Go blue!! 〽️😜🤘🏽
They nailed it with the intro.
Planting the block M flag right in the middle of the field is the ULTIMATE disrespect. And of course it was Mikey who did it lol. I love it.
