How To | Fill in Builder Gel | ft. Orly Builder in a Bottle |

Hey Nail Friends! Today's video is about how I refill my builder gel. This is my second time refilling my builder gel after initial application and I love it so far! It creates AMAZING strength and allows me not to use so much dip powder! I used to have to do 6-7 layers of powder to get the strength and thickness for my nail length and this has cut it down significantly! Now I only do 3-4 layers of dip (including clear!) Steps: Apply builder gel on nail and then flash cure for 10 seconds. Move onto next nail, after all nails are finished cure for a full 30-60s. Remove sticky layer with alcohol or nail cleanser.

I’ve been looking for a builder in the bottle lately I’m glad you posted this! I use the triple d in a pot and it’s great but sometimes I can’t be bothered with the hassle of it. I use it as a protective layer for peel base too so I don’t need anything crazy

If I wanted to put gel polish do I put it on after the builder gel is finished curing after 30 secs? Do I need to do a second coat of gel base coat after the 30 secs if I wanted to add gel polish?

yes it will soak off. those who don’t use peel base with builder gel file the color off or soak off.

There are also peel off gel base coat so if you want longevity you might want to try it out 😊

It really depends, especially over natural nail vs. builder gel. I get anywhere from 2-7 days out of my manicure. It also depends on how often your hands are in water, due to UNT being water based.

when you apply base gel before the builder gel, is it just any gel base coat? what does that do?

yes any base gel is fine. This allows the builder gel to stick to the nail. Base gel has a tacky layer after curing to allow the next layer of gel (whether it is color gel or builder gel, etc) to stick to the nail. If you do not apply base gel, you may risk peeling of the builder gel.

How do I get the builder gel off my cuticle area before I Cure? Do I use a flat brush and alchol or a flat brush and acetone?

Flat brush thats dry, wipe it clean, then put a little acetone on the brush and clean up the residual.
