I wish I was there!! I’d list all those new old stock linens etc and even shoes on eBay. They’re worth a fortune.
And yes, keep going. We love to see this.

Great content...you're a good friend Taco, for allowing PAM to help and score some goodies, & content as well. 👍💯⭐
Also, if those staples are 'office supply' staples, those can be donated to shelters too...animal 🐾 or human...anything cuts down on operating costs!
There's a women's shelter somewhere that could use those clothes & shoes. Said it before, anything means something to someone with nothing!

That cylindrical brass fitting is an irrigation outlet. Used in place of a nozzle, goes on a garden hose, place it on or near plants...Usually the hose is on a timer valve which will regulate the amount of low pressure water, feeding the plant[s] needing water. That "belt buckle" is for a lady's hairdo...keeps milady's hair style in place...can't think of the name of it. Wow...quite a cleanout! I used to do these with a buddy of mine. Found some interesting items. All phases of it!

I love watching house clear outs, u don't know what your gonna find. I would love to see it all from emptying each room to it being bare. Just enjoy watching. I use to help my dad do clear outs when I was younger so takes me back. I do think you should do a scrap load so everything scrap in the house just load it all up, saves time for u, rather than put scrap with the flee market bits. Can't wait for next video 😉💙

Love clean out videos. I haven't seen a big ice pick like that for years. I still have my parents. It has the name of the ice company on the metal end. The leather with the pick through it is a 1970s pony tail holder.

I remember using those leather ponytail holders when I was a kid. USED them instead of rubber bands. The leather always had some embossing or color design so they were very decorative hair pieces. They brought back some memories. Enjoy the finds in this house. Great videos.

Hi Taco really enjoy your videos great content and clear followable filming awesome! Your commentary in your pleasant jersey accent is great. Oh wow the leather hair cuff brings back my highschool days (grad class 69)! My concern is that stunning bench you've had the luck to aquire, with it's amazing history it should not be exposed to outdoors. If you could save up and have it refurbished to the original wood you'd have a stunning historical piece! Keep on filming Bless you.

Excellent video,Taco! Cool stuff, as well. You have your own home: I'd keep all those nails and screws. The drill bits, as well as some of the tools, also are good to have. You'd then have it, if you ever need it, even if you only use it once or twice. It's better than scrambling and running out to the store to look for it at some crazy hour of the day or night. I think you also have a fireplace and a wood burning stove. Great to keep those Dura-Logs, for them, too. They never go "bad". And to me: you can never have too much WD-40 - extremely handy! All and all, it was great to be looking through the clean out - awesome!

The benches are great. So much nicer than plastic or synthetic outside seating. I am with you about the neat packaging boxes - it seems to me it would not be so difficult for manufacturers now to go back to using these boxes instead of plastic packaging which requires racks to display it; and boxes are easy to recycle. Those 'belt buckles' are for putting in your long hair. Good to see your stock of inventory is growing as last year you seemed to have some days with not a lot to go on. I am loving the variety you are putting into your videos. Stay safe.

The leather thing with the pointy stick is for hair. Long hair you would twist around and fold it up the back of your head, then put the leather part on it,and the stick goes underneath the hair through to the other side and holds the hair up. I used to wait them all the time.

That leather oval thing with the wooden pointed dowel in it was popular in the late 60's and into the 70's. Women and girls would put their hair in a pony tail and then kind of fold it over up the back of the head, put the leather part over that, and then anchor it all to the head with the pointed dowel. I had several of them myself and I only wish I could send a picture of how they were used but I don't have any.

Hey Taco! I think a good majority of items will sell at the flea market because people like older stuff because it was made better and lasted longer than today’s items. Sometimes it’s how things are displayed on your tables makes a difference too. If everything is neat & orderly, people are more inclined to stop and browse. Glad you have Renee to help you. The item you thought was a belt buckle is actually a hair barrette. If you have questions about womens items…call Renee in & ask her. Thanks for sharing your life & your videos with us! My husband's grandmother dated everything she purchased - typical grocery type items - and she was a hoarder. She died back in the mid 1990s at 86 years old and she had grocery items going back decades! I remember a gelatin on the shelf from the early 1930s for example. Yikes! Just because its sealed and the packaging looks good, would you still use it? Having said that, NON-food items may be just fine!

instead of tossing items that don't sell' in the trash, maybe you could set a box or two aside when you're at the flea and if it doesn't sell, put it in the box with a free sign. you could continue to add to the box(es) throughout the day. when you're done for the day and do your walk around the flea, put the boxes out prominently and mention them to the other sellers, some people don't mind small sales of .25 or .50, it all adds up.you will have a lot less to toss or donate. (but keep the linens for the animal shelters)

While going through the cupboards, why don’t you have totes and take everything out and sort it as you go, instead of putting some things back in the cupboards. You could have a tote for keep, flea market , eBay, scrap, and a box of you are not sure what to do with it, It would help speed up your process. Try to only have to handle each item once. I do love seeing what you are getting.

In North Oakland near the frontier with Berkeley there is an antique/salvage shop that's been there as long as I can remember, going back the mid sixties. This guy does clean outs and has all kinds of tings. One thing he does is sell bulk items by the box load. He has a pile of low end, bulk items out front. There is a stack of man portable boxes nearby and you pick a box and fill it with what you want. A box of stuff is $5.00, not by the item but for the box. He moves a lot crap doing that. When a box was $2.00 a few years ago my friend and I split a box for a buck each. I got an old but never used glue gun and glue for what broke down to twenty cents. Put all the junk you are collecting there and put it on a blanket at the flea market and sell it by the box load for $5 or what ever.
