Garbage cans ARE expensive..most people don't even have lg enuf vehicles not buy and haul..thank u for also recycling boxes to reuse for shipping .they are expensive to buy and reusing them saves resources. I tip my hat to u sir..many thanks❤
Hey Taco. Just love an auction like that with all that old stuff. Our community gives out the big blue re-cycle cans for free. All you need to do is go to the township building & show proof of residency & it's yours. We have had ours for 16 years. Thanks & take care
Thanks for taking us along. Glad you were able to find some goodies at the auction. Sadly, retail items have gotten more expensive even for the cheaply made plastic and rubber containers. Needless to say that retailers are always rushing the holiday seasons before their time. Oh, well….Glad you found a bin, nonetheless. Have a great day. 👍😍
Awesome video. If you van has a hitch on it that corn picker would have been worth it for $10 just pull it right into the scrap yard and you would have gotten $100 plus for it.
Hi Taco. Happy Tuesday to you. The action had lots of potential but very pricey also. But you managed to get a few things. So that’s always good. I agree about the price of a trash can I’m not going to spend more than I have to on one . I’m going to have to replace mine soon because 2 only have 1 handle on them. Take care. PEACE. ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️🥰🥰🥰🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I really enjoyed the slow walk around at this sale because of the unique and valuable items. You are a very cautious buyer. Do you ever drive away thinking...Why didn't I bid on that one lot? I know I sure have. Then I have to remember that if I were bidding, there would be more competition and therefore a higher final bid. You did pretty well. I loved the benches.
Great video as always. I got a treat for dinner. My nephew came in and brought a crock with chicken and fried rice. With some soy sauce. It wasn't bad. I asked him where he got it, and he said "chicken helper" haha
It would be a lot of fun to take a trip to Pennsylvania and go to some auctions and flea Markets, Lorraine and I have talked about doing that over the years. Taco you’re lucky to have such good opportunities to score some real treasures from the past. Thank you sharing your adventures 👍🏻
Enjoyed this episode - it was good seeing all the old medal and I was wondering if you would buy any and you did not disappoint. Also good seeing what some of the items sold for.
I was hoping you’d put the glassware you got first in the bed of the van so it wouldn’t get broken. Maybe you did that and you just didn’t film it. That was an unusual auction, but it was pretty neat to watch and see. I saw a lot of things that if I was there, I would want them, but I have no clue how to bid in an auction and I don’t really wanna learn at my age. I don’t have room to put anything new.
Our city Olympia, Wash. provides the recycling can a 95 gallon garbage with recycling is about $110 a month. We get 4 pickups in the month alternating garbage, recycling, garbage, recycling. It gets stinky in the summer! There are 4 choices of size. If you do not recycle the cost goes up! Up here in Montana we can just drive to the small dump run by the county and toss out as much as we want. They have one area for things that are metal washers, bikes, barbecues all tossed in that area. Not sure how often that gets taken away? Our home in Ca. has the best garbage deals. Huge cans never run out of room like in Olympia. We often have to go to the dump and it is expensive
Around here the old style garbage cans are useless to homeowners. They have to be the automated style cans and of a particular size. . The other ones are OK for yard cleanup and other off-label uses, but that's all she wrote.
Taco, that auction the prices were high because of the primitives. That old stuff is harder to find. Especially any furniture that doesn't need structural work.
At 20: at the beginning of the video was an Ethan Allen furniture piece with 2 glass covered beautiful bowls, besides the other glass fruit bowls that you did not take. That is way more worth it than the 2 little pieces that you took. If it isn't for your type of flea market than why not sell it online? Taco, you are throwing money away!
Glassware is so hard to sell! You also risk that it’s going to break of course. Seems like he has more than enough to sell at the flea market right now. Scrapping is easy. Pick it up, bring it to the scrap yard, get guaranteed money for it. No holding onto it. Picking up everything creates death piles eventually.
Hello Taco. I have enjoyed this one and spending time with you. Take care and have a wonderful day.
Now that you purchased a garbage recycle can you will find them all over 😉. Fun video!
Thanks!

Cool stuff. Those wire baskets with handles are locker baskets.

We have a garbage bin and a recycling bin. We can put them out each week. Then once a month we can put out loose trash. It’s really nice!
This is what I call a proper auction! It’s good to see things you’re unfamiliar with. In the future you can keep an eye out for any in the trash! xx
Awesome stuff at that auction!
I used to love going to auctions. Thank you for entertaining us elders.
People love those primitives. Great day with Taco.
Those hammers with corn cob handles were cool
As a former auction house owner in VA I used to make frequent trips to PA and buy inventory from estate/farm auctions. I mde a killing
Interesting collection of items and displayed so well. Didn't need anything but it looks so pretty you want to buy it!
Fun antique auction ✌🏻

Those looked like some high value antiques.

When a box has writing on the outside, I cut the seams, turn inside out and re-tape. Clean box.
I've gotten free trash cans from my local FB groups and I've given away some there as well. Have a great week!

Very interesting auction! That long bench went for $$$.😊
Our county provides the recycling can and another for cardboard
Thanks Taco😊
Now this stuff looks old. ❤.
The free stuff in the curb looked better than the stuff at the farm auction.😂😂😂

Wonderful sale. Wow! Hope you find some great stuff.👍🏼❤️
I love stuff like that. I would love to find a stash of real shutters to go on my house.
Taco, looks like there were enough doors to build your office.
Very cool items, especially the furniture.
G day Taco Should have bought 1 row picker, for scrap

Yes it's a barrel cart For carrying beer barrels

The Griswold pie safe Is worth over a $100
More depending on condition, cool stuff!
Sometimes I think those "High Rollers" are buyers for company's who collect objects for business decor. just a thought Thanks for the Taco Tag along.
Interesting stuff at the auction. Hey when you go to the dump to look for finds wear a mask 😂
Loved it!
The torture mechanism is for making ropes.
Good spot for Hallowween
Our city has the “grabber” garbage truck
But we use the other containers inside. Have a great day! 😊
It looks like a Amish farm equipment
I like wheels
Those steel baskets look like what milk delivery men used to bring bottles to house.
❤🐨
Where in the world were all those items stored?
sorry you did not get much at the auction
Was the “torture” thing a loom?🤗💖🦋
