So I have it on my wrist now and it seems there are a few differences with the watches of yours and mine, guessing they are roughly 2020 and 2021 models. Most of these variations can be found on other videos of UA-cam, of course. The locking clasp has the etched shark logo now instead of the brand name. The back plate information has changed. No mentioning of the NH35 movement anymore. Also the model code (mine reads as HAS-H5) is now in the middle of the back plate between the brand name and the great shark logo. The green lume longevity is only good. The lume pip is noticeable smaller but raised anyway.. BUT it is with blue lume. This is the first blue lume pip I have seen on Heimdallr captain Willard watches. Great watch indeed! (Hopefully this comment goes through. The first try vanished for some reason. Thank you!)
I’ve bought a version of this Same watch by a different company called Steeldive. Same movement and I believe the case is manufactured by the same people. Only difference is the steeldive has a ceramic bezel insert with an inset luminescent dial. Great review can’t wait to get mine! Also thank you for your service sir. Always cool to see veterans on UA-cam.
@@watchesandcaps2566 agreed, much worse, and the case is not the same, and the Crystal is not either.. the Heimdallr is very much an improvement over the Steeldive, I have both
I got the same one a couple months ago. I love it. It is so comfortable. The lume pip popped out on the first day but I crazy glued it in place and it's been fine. I'm done buying stuff from China for a while, but this is a great watch.
Great review of this watch, I did buy the 'steeldive' one, which is the same but with a fully lumed bezel without a pip. I actually have a couple of their watches from steeldive and are great for the money with great specs. I did receive my heimdallr suby that I ordered after watching your video, it is great, thanks a lot for the great work and your reviews. Can I ask you what camera do you use? And please don't remove, ot maybe add some of your personal mechanics projects, you are a really good welder and should share this experience too.
Nice review and I like this watch, Hey even the Tudor BB has the lume pip elevated, I don't own a Rolex sub but I understand it also has the lume pip elevated...
Another great review of a nice watch! Like Patrick, I'm also waiting for my Heimdallr Sub to arrive. Hope I'm as pleased with it as you are with yours! Thanks again.
After a year with this it is one of my least expensive watches in a collection of 18 and it gets the most wrist time which includes a seiko skx007j, a seiko samurai and other more costly watches. This watch is super quality and super comfortable.
Nice review. I have one of these that came with the fitted bracelet but I've already put it on to that same black rubber strap you've got on yours. These are great watches and mine is gorgeous. However my bezel is so stiff that I originally thought it had been welded in place. After lubing it and then forcefully twisting it 100 full rotations, it still so stiff that I can't rotate it while wearing it. So, that part's a bummer but the watch is very comfortable, keeps great time, looks wonderful and I'm sure will improve with another couple hundred revolutions. My forearms will be gigantic...
So far, great. Smooth, reliable, and accurate. Time will tell as far as durability but with the Seiko movement, there's no reason to think it won't last a long time! Thanks for watching!
I have one and it's really well made. The dimensions and shape is very close to the original Willard. However, the beveled crystal does not reflect the chapter ring lines too well.
How is the AR on your 6105? Another review of one of the other 6105 homages showed it as having a sort of overdone AR that makes it look like the dial is blue. Heimdallr's photos of this model make it look bluish as well. What's yours like?
I want one of these really bad, but even the Heimdallr website states that due to COVID-19 issues...delivery times will be even longer to international buyers.
Got to say if you can't afford the watch you want, these are good alternatives . But you will still want. And that's the thing of being a watch Man , unfortunately
It was nearly 7 weeks. Shippers are being very cautious right now. I've heard that if you get the express shipping, it'll take about 10 days if you're in the US.
Just bought the sterile dial version on a bracelet for $120, probably gonna get the after market Seiko 6105 repro dial and have it installed, hopefully the perfect beater homage of the real thing.
I see in the reviews i found for this watch it says the watch has a seiko movement but when I go to order from the Heimdallr site its a Seagull movement or pay more for an ETA movement?
You have to keep scrolling through the catalog. They have the 6105 turtle, and the high beat turtle. Look for the one that doesn't say high beat. Thanks for watching.
Nice review. Liked and subscribed. I’m digging on your 7002. It’s great you kept it all these years and I’m looking forward to your review and thoughts on it as well.
Well, you can buy a watch for a good price, that you can enjoy; or hold out for something that will give you a return on your investment. Nice to have options. Thanks for watching.
Heimdallr watches ,what a heap of junk . I've had dust under the crystal and damage where some idiot didn't know how to put a stainless steel bracelet on properly and scuffed up the front of the lugs. How can they send a watch out like this.Never again .
I have one. I am sure this will upset some watch enthusiasts, but it's better than the Seiko in nearly every way.
I agree. Better movement, crystal, and bexel insert for sure!
I have one as well...and I agree. Plus awesome price to boot.
I agree 100%
Im wondering it is a trully 200m water resistant watch? Or, lets say at least 50m(enough:)...
@@bertonedes There is no reason to believe it wouldn't hold up as well ad a Seiko. They are very well made watches
I keep coming back watching this great video! Now this tempting time piece will be on my wrist in about one week. Thank you!
I'm still enjoying mine. Hope you enjoy yours when it arrives!

The steeldive is actually lower quality, especially their bracelets.

I have a couple of Heimdallr watches myself. I have one of these on order, I find the quality exceptional and the product almost addictive .
Yes, the two I have a great, and I'm trying to decide which one I want next.

Yup....why not since Seiko doesn't come out with an affordable 6105 reissue. This brand is a killer for the money.

Thanks for the review. I went to the Heimdallr Website and they say it's not available. Does anyone know if this was a limited run?
I believe they'll be getting more.
I remember Dessert Storm being on the news when I was a kid. You guys kicked ass.
Anyway, how is this watch holding up for you?

Where did you purchase this watch. Cheers

No import duty? I paid £60 to the UK
No sir, the price included shipping!
United states doesnt pay import duties.
Why are you changing the date without making sure you're out of the danger zone. Always set it to around 630 before changing the date.
Thanks, I'll look into that.

Hi,
Good Video, have regulate the Watch?
Greetings Mario
There was no need to regulate. Thank you for watching.
I just won one on eBay ($63.00). Can’t wait to get it. 😁
Hi, After a month, how does the watch keep the time?
Sec at the Day +- .

I wear a different watch every day, but the days I've worn it, it appears to be as accurate as my initial inspection.

My pip came off. Heimdallr are sending me a new watch. They say it'll be the new pip that won't come off easily.
Great, I hope it works well for you!
But you had to send the original watch back, didn't you?
What's the dimension of the bezel?
I do not know. If you email Heimdallr, I'm sure they'll be happy to help.
Mine is 113g with the rubber band
What is its dial size
Mine is one the way
It's probably a great watch but it's after market value is worthless. These homage watches are great but I'd prefer the real deal.
