They see it as something you are born with or not - which is why sometimes people think leaders are born and not made. Charisma is one of those traits. Sometimes people equate charisma with leadership, and if you aren't born charismatic, they think you can't be a great leader. That's just not true. Charisma, first, is learnable, and second, you don't have to have it to be a leader or a great manager or boss.
