- How to make a realistic Moss Easter bunny cake.
I found this cute moss bunny decoration in Home Bargains and couldn't resist trying to recreate it in cake.

I made the internal cake structure, but I have similar ones over on my website to purchase at - bit.ly/zfcframe
I coloured 200g of coconut using these;
Spruce Green - bit.ly/sprucegreensugarflair
Holly Green - bit.ly/hollygreensugarflair
Green Colour Mill - bit.ly/greencolourmill
For making the frame I used an Edible Pen - bit.ly/FractalPen
Use a small round Cake Card for supporting the rabbits head - bit.ly/cake-cards
I used Saracino Modelling chocolate mixed with green colour mill for the ears and tail

Green Colour Mill - bit.ly/greencolourmill
For the chocolate ganache I used a ratio of 3;1 (Callebaut white choc to cream) and coloured it with green Colour Mill

Cake gel or pipping gel can be used to stick the coconut to the cake
Cake Gel - bit.ly/saracinocakegel
Roll small balls in Black Modelling Paste for eyes - bit.ly/Saracinoblack

I recently bought a very similar rabbit (smaller and less detailed), and then I saw this video. I took it as a sign that I should give it a try, and to my utter surprise, it turned out so cute! Thanks for making my new Easter decoration that much cuter, now that I have an edible version of it!

Although it's not 'exact' as far as the color goes, you did an absolutely wonderful job! I would be so excited to have it. :) I love the little bow too. It really pulls it all together and you are impressive at sculpting. It looks like it takes skill and a bit of patience.
