Rice paper sails, fishing themed Buttercream Cake

- I made this cake for a friends birthday recently and wanted to share it with you guys. The Vietnamese rice paper sails add some really cool flair to the cake and the buttercream and ganache make sure it tastes amazing! And look how cute that modelling paste fish is 😊
Tools and products used in this video -
First I start by using Vietnamese Rice paper amzn.to/3ETPnYC in water to colour with the Sugarflair Colours the colours I used are Khaki and Spruce Green

I then mixed the Sugarflair colours into some Saracino Modelling Paste to start the fish and used a balling tool, Dresden and nail tools to add the details

I used a selection of powder dusts

Then onto the cake, For the buttercream I used a sugar and crumbs Icing Sugar and Mixed an Olive Colour Mill

and added Callebaut Crispearls and Chocolate Chips to every layer

Hi Zoe, I’m very new to cake toppers. I’ve always been a crafter and silver jewellery maker. Since becoming bound to a wheelchair I needed something that would keep my mind stimulated and hopefully even turn into a small home business.
