i had to use the switch for something , so a nato 2000 style rf gain was the answer ;)

The concorde 2 was my 1st ssb radio back in the day when i bought it someone had already modified it to receive most of the bands think it was 1 band of having the 5 the highest if i remember rite it had the full 40fm split between 2 bands alpha channels it worked great
