- Every year i'm usually busy during the holidays. Couldn't make a full chapter review today, so this is more "half baked" and focused on a couple topics rather than going in depth on multiple. Of course things will go back to normal in 2024! That being said, I still hope you enjoy my review-ish for jujutsu kaisen chapter 245

Of course it's not his fault. Higuruma didn't even know that Sukuna had a Cursed Tool up until the last second since I doubt they watched the Kashimo fight and even if he did, he didn't have time to consider the implications of the Cursed Tool.
That I believe was Sukuna's plan against Higuruma and Judgeman.

They’d still be so hell bent on their plans, plus a Gojo dying just put them even more on edge. Like it’s reasonable to think they didn’t have the leisure or time to factor in Sukuna’s vajra.
I’d agree it wouldn’t make sense if Sukuna used a cursed tool in Shibuya or before (bcuz Higuruma documents all of Sukuna’s crimes from that time) but Sukuna didn’t so it actually makes sense.
Sukuna literally said IDGAF lets gooo! He had no plan against Higuruma because he needed no plan. As demonstrated in the last panel he killed everyone there in one slice he just wanted to see how the Executioners sword works out of curiosity.

@@FakeWeebThe problem with legal system debate is no weapon are allowed in court(sukuna is still holding vajra inside) and are before hand confiscated so it isn't viable for him to still be having vajra and thus having CT of weapon get confiscated(unless if former had counted as confiscated by verdict)
So many if, I much prefer to think it is part of the inconsistency of the story, something that tells me a real person is making this story week after week and mistakes can happen and it doesn’t take away any of the greatness of this manga/anime
Another thing about this is that, Sukuna himself actually was surprised by the outcome of the domain. Its stated “The only ones who realized something was amiss with this seemingly golden opportunity were Sukuna and Higuruma and himself.” This would heavily imply that Sukuna didn’t just suddenly “understand Higurumas domain better than Higuruma himself” as many have argued, and he just took full advantage of the result. Ofc now this means that they are at the mercy of Sukunas whims, since he wanted to see the executioner sword in action and possibly, with the good mood he is in, he’ll test the fruits of some of our fighters labors (such as Maki and maybe Yuta if he comes back) before he ends up getting bored and just endgames them all.
This makes Sukuna’s plot armor allegations even worse lmao. Bro didn’t even know Gege would suck him off this much 😂
this confirms that sukuna was more than confident he would be able to take them on with kamutoke and black box anyway so outcome would be the same, idk why people are complaining and calling gege a bad writer when most of them are biased towards blue eyed fraud and so on
you think the fandom who keep spouting 'nothing can pass through infinity' despite multiple things have been literally shown to did so, can actually read these specific detail and figure out the implication?

I think my issue with the confiscation taking the cursed tool CT is that it feels forced, sukuna obtained kamutoke against kashimo and it didn’t matter because kashimo can just tank it, then he only used it to kill the crows that mei mei used and now kamutoke is just useless. So in short terms, the only reason for kamutoke to appear in the story was to save sukuna from confiscation 😅

I think it was implied Kamutoke was needed to trigger Sukuna's reincarnation as well (though this was never really outright stated). I think that was its primary purpose.

Its implied that cleave, dismantle, and flame are things sukuna can do cause of his mastery of cursed energy. So it wouldn’t take all them, just one if possibly. His ct is something connected to “shrine.”

The 1st rule of every courtroom is NO WEAPONS ALLOWED. He really should have caught onto that.
Nah bcuz you gotta remember that Higuruma is new sorcerer. He may be a prodigy but experience still matters. He would’ve caught onto this if he confiscating someone with a SPECIAL GRADE CURSED TOOL BEFORE. The likelihood of that is low. He may have fought someone with a cursed tool, but only special grades have a technique imbued within them (except for playful cloud)

But, conveniently, Gege allowed it to enter Higuruma's DE just so it is then taken away even though how does it make sense for the weapon to be taken away AFTER the trail ends and not before?

@@aboyisebuke But 1 of his DE rules is "NO VIOLENCE". Weapons can be used to incite violence, therefore, it should have confiscated that cursed tool before the trail even started (RIGHT when Higuruma cast his DE).
I think the readers get confused sometimes since we see and know all that's happening from all points of views it's easy to forget the actual characters don't have that advantage.

My problem is that everything is so convenient for sukuna at this point in the story. Ever since he switched into Megumi everything that could go his way is going his way. Everything else makes sense with the curse tool, imo and was a good move, I’m just not a fan of how convenient everything is at this point
Well, the other option was him loosing his curse technique and using the curse tool instead (which is probably what he planned for) which might not be any better anyway.

This could’ve been a perfect opportunity to expand on that, but instead we got a very convenient outcome for sukuna. If you can’t see how everything has been going his way since he said “enchain” then you’re blind. His CT is not as strong as C/D. We know if he wanted to do he could just easily blitz everyone with C/D. Allowing them to live because of arrogance and then losing is boring in my eyes.

Nah for real. I don’t anyone was surprised when Villian Plot armor kicked in again. At this point it’s just getting excessive. If the slashing attack at the end killed Higaruma, then I’m dropping JJK, I’m tired of Gege always giving the villains the upper hand and lowballing almost every single good guy. The last time a character actually beat and killed a villain was Yuta vs the Reincarnations. Before that, idk. Only Villains beat Villains.
The problem with this take is: the weapon confiscation should've been a sure hit effect of the DE. In courts of all over the world this is common since it can be used as proof of a crime, but it doesn't cancel the trial. It's just common procedure.
His domain doesn’t have sure hit because it’s not a sure kill domain. It’s more conditional like the domains for the older sorcerers. This was stated already

They’re essentially the info dumps in hakari’s and the no violence rule in higaruma’s. Can’t be avoided.
The weapon thing is a problem, because yorozu couldn't know about higuruma domain. It is just a coincidence even if makes sense. And sukuna knowing more about higuruma domain than higuruma doesn't make sense, only if he went to the colage and become a top tier lawyer in a month.

Gege’s writing hasn’t been up to par since Gojo died. It feels sloppy compared to the previous arcs. Everything almost tied together or we had lose ends tied up.
I think the fakeweeb got bullied/overwhelmed with the twitter warriors into changing his answer or at the very least agreeing with them.
It makes no sense for higaruma to say that judgeman takes the CT. But, because he has the baby rattle, judgeman decides to take the technique from the tool. 😂like it would have made since if it took his CT and he still was able to use his tool. Showing more of what the CT can do, and how he used it in his era.
I can understand why Gege did this so he can use Sukuna to kill off some characters, and to say “well we technically didn’t know everything about Higaruma’s domain so i’ll curve ball the audience.”
@@FakeWeeb the fact that Sukuna could read Higuruma desire to die and has an understanding of CE, he might have picked up Higuruma true CT intentions like the Judge passing judgment based on Higurumas subconscious desires. I may be making this up but the Judge might have confiscated Sukuna weapon because it was granting Higurumas wish to die even if Higuruma didnt outright spell itor made it intentional
I do feel like is a bit plot convinient, I would have prefer for his slashing to be taken, just for him to use one of the many abilities we already know he has

Remember Yuji is a cursed object, soaked in Sukuna's CE💁🏾♂️. He lost his ability to use CE in the domain. A CT is an application that manipulates CE. So confiscating one's CT is taking away one's ability to manipulate CE. So Yuji lacking a CT lossed his ability to use CE. So naturally confiscation isn't hard CT . There's a scale: 1. Loss of CTool (an object possessing a CT). 2. Loss of CT (an application of CE). 3. Loss of CE usage💁🏾♂️.
Taking kamotoke was a fair judgement. It was our fault for assuming a binary to confiscation.
Allowing a weapon in acourt room already destroys the thing about his domain being based off an actual legal system. The weapon wouldnt be allowed in the court room to begin with. If anything, it shouldve been kicked out or temporarily confiscated before the trial if this was based on an actual court room. Also if sukuna is the target of the domain, why would the sure hit go for the tool rather than its actual target, sukuna? Ik judgeman chooses and stuff but this is convenience as clear as day.
This is anime tho so ig rules are meant to be changed to move the story in a certain way. Thats just how i feel tho.

The confiscation - tool thing makes sense. Judgeman has been shown to make on the fly choices. Yuji didn’t have a technique, so it confiscated his cursed energy. Sakuna had a cursed tool with a technique, so it decided to take that. It’s random chance but it makes sense

Firstly even if the legal system first confiscates the criminals weapon. You gotta understand that Kamutoke wasn't confiscated, the CT ambued to it was. Also if that was the rule then Kamutoke wouldn't even be inside the court room.
Secondly, Why would judgeman confiscate the curse technique of the tool which had absolutely nothing to do with sukunas crime in trial . Wouldn't it literally make more sense that the Technique USED To commit the crime would be confiscated First. Thats like saying that The water gun the criminal had on hand during the trial is confiscated over then AK47 used to commit the crime.
Thirdly, it makes literally no sense that the weilder of the domain itself didn't know of such a condition or had never experienced it. Gojo has never experienced infinite void so how does he know that it feeds you infinite information? Also higuruma had like 100 points and you are telling me there wasn't a single person who used a curse tool? Playful cloud is the only tool without a CT. Also you have the skip part. They should have already underwent bunch of scenarios about how it went.

That's kinda the point in my opinion. Things have been going pretty well for Sukuna. He wouldn't be hindered if you got rid of his "space slash". It's not like he doesn't already have high physical ability and a fire technique he can't use. Him being given a purple rarity tool by Uraume's air drop and it taking the brunt of Higuruma's domain feels kind of lame.
I like that it took the cursed tools technique, it shows again that tricks aren't going to work and it's going to take everything to have a chance of winning

You can't call it bad writing or the characters being dumb since we readers didn't consider what would happen if he had a curse tool and we had more than a month to think of it.
Also they were more preoccupied with getting the death sentence, and confiscation was just a bonus. Confiscation was also never guaranteed in their strategy as the 10 Shadows was and still is a factor. Sakuna lost most shikigami, but not all of them.
Right? We have the benefit of hindsight, that's why we think we deserve to complain about this, but realistically, Higgy and the others needed a Death penalty. Without it, even with confiscation, they would still be in a terrible situation
It is bad writing cuz Gege probably himself doesn't know much about law, Higuruma's domain is based on the concept of Law is blind, and it follows all the procedures of court like : no violence, chance to defend oneself and even a chance for a bloody retrial but somehow did not include confiscation of weapon which should have been done since procedure of court also includes no firearm in the premise accept those authorized, and conveniently the only aspect that the domain over looks ( confiscation of weapon) happens to help sukuna simply cuz he has a weapon , it's as if the domain overlooked the aspect just so that sukuna could get a plot twist / armour......again
wdym we didn't consider it? we would have consider it if cursed tools would have actually interacted with domains throught the story, we don't even know why confiscation even considers the cursed tool a part of sukuna, for all it knows it could have confiscated something from yuji since it considers him and sukuna the same person but different entities.

2. Higuruma already stated within the domain, violence is prohibited and everyone has respected that rule, even Sukuna. The confiscation of weapon seems like nitpick considering it's not an actual courtroom but still a DE.
Doubly so when Sukuna didn't even defend himself against the DE, HE WANTED TO SEE THE SWORD.
3. Higuruma has been a sorcerer at most 1-1.5 months, and while he can immediately do DE, he has close to 0 knowledge about traditional jujutsu sorcery. I really doubt he has interacted with his DE enough to understand what loophole exist or the limitation of judgeman.
I'm all for criticizing Gege for many things, but yours seems to nitpick for the sake of nitpick than actual criticizing.
I like how Sukuna gets a cursed tool that we've never seen used beforehand in the series which he apparently used back in the Heian era. Then he doesn't use it against Gojo because of limitless, it does nothing against Kashimo since he's resistant to lightning and then it gets taken away before he uses it again. So the cursed tool only really exists for it get taken away by confiscation.
Wouldn't it make more sense to take away Sukuna's CT so that we could see more of this cursed tool in action, since Sukuna's moveset for most of the series has just been cleave and dismantle?

There’s also the fact he didn’t have a cursed tool until the fight with Kashimo. They made the plan before the Gojo fight.
Where the entirety of the 'weapon confiscated based on legality' falls is rarely has Higurama's domain been that restrictive to the Japanese legal system. Yuji was sentenced to death despite being 15 years old while the Japanese legal system restricts death penalties to individuals ONLY over the age of 18. It's still too convenient how everything panned out, Sukuna getting the cursed tool from Yorozu (who had 0 plot relevance), and further drives her character's purpose and CT solely to have existed JUST for this moment. As a way for Gege to justify Sukuna being able to counter Higuruma's domain, he created Yorozu. You'd also think Higuruma, with his insane intellect, would know or at least plan for a 'weapon contingency' to be apart of his Domain, ESPECIALLY given him being a lawyer. This is insane
Some people will still use the idea of "realism" to justify the convenience nonetheless.

My only issue is with this outcome is the fact that judgeman picked a cursed tool, despite it not even being the weapon involved in said crime. Even with the randomized aspect of higaruma's domain, you'd expect it to prioritize the weapons related to the crime being judged rather than just any tool the culprit happens to be holding
Judgeman confiscated Yuuji's CE even if it didn't have anything to do with his pachinko shenanigans.
It's not about the tool related to the crime. It's about taking away the target's options for resistance

Now however it has becomes weird. The Judgeman knows that Sukuna used other 'tool' (in this case his CT) and not the Cursed Weapon. Moreover, said weapon were obtained and used only AFTER Shibuya genocide. So wth?

I feel like Gege might further explain it next chapter, since the confiscation taking the weapon first does actually make sense realistically.
I rlly hope so cuz most times he’s an author that does more showing than telling. Like for this case, you REALLY had to think logically why a cursed tool’s technique would be taken first despite no mention of it in the past.

Why is his punishment to lose an ability that he didn't even use? Also since judgeman ultimately is under higuruma's control shouldn't higuruna have some control over what ability gets taken?

Gojo dying wasn't bad but gojo glazing sukuna was off-putting for both fans and his character
either way, i believe it wouldve been far superior writing to confiscate the technique instead so we could see the full extent of kamutoke. narratively, taking away the technique wouldve been far more interesting. not to mention, if the "confiscating weapons" first was the reason for that, wouldnt it have made more sense to confiscate it BEFORE the trial? because having a weapon during trial doesnt seem very accurate lmao
Thats kinda makes sense, but still it could be handled better.
So lets say that Sukuna gets his CT confiscated. His CT being slashes + fuga(open). But it gets revealed that Sukunas technique is just too "voluminous", so only his slashes gets confiscated. Then when our crew thinks "Sukuna is left with just bare hands", he says "open" and uses another technique.
So we could finaly have an explaination what Sukuna's technique realy is + Sukuna gets nerfed (no more space cutting slashes) + the battle would be much more interesting, because instead of using only slashes, Sukuna will be forced to use different techniques against different opponents.
Even tho cursed tool confiscation makes sense, it still feels a little forced. For me, this was a golden opportunity to make this fight so much better, but Gege desided not to. I have faith in Gege, but for now his writing feels like non-stop Sukuna glazing

Also find it more convenient to confiscate the cursed tool. Aside from Kashimo's joke of electrical usage, electricity would be harder for most to counter, whereas learning to counter by filling space, similar to a domain or maximum/extension like Nanami did to escape Mahito imo makes more sense in terms of chances for survival. Especially if one's own body is like a domain. Could be a necessary survival condition.

I don't think i would find it even remotely funny though i would like to say that wakashū date back till 1603 to 1867 only which is during the edo era while sukuna and Uraume are from heain era which is 794 to 1185, so i doubt that wakashū really existed back then but its still possible.
@apersonwhohassomething Yeah, the main reason why I would also doubt it, is simply because Sukuna is said to mainly keep Urame around due to cooking/sorcery skill. But Kaisen as well as many other series' seem to have major implications of the darker sides of culture, that often get swept under the rug. Reminds me of post bronze age Greece, where a lot of people today try to normalize Pederasty, even though there is counter evidence to explain that it was seen as a major cultural issue even in those times to prey on youth. Saw a piece on that and how due to our western education, it almost has to be seen as normal rather than the horrible social construct that it really was/is to this day tbh. It's actually what I'm working on as a thesis for modern (post bronze) religion and cult practice that seems to have a very suss way of turning youth into idols, and sexualizing them. Plus it brings a lot of questions to the light about how we have such odd abilities that don't seem like they belong to Japan in JJK. A lot of my colleagues always have fun discussing revelations on Angel and more characters in the series' past that are super out of place. I always draw extreme caution now when reading chapters and prefer to get the green light from reviewers that it's safe to even look at before reading. Still haven't actually read this one yet, and always prefer the comments or video makers to let me know if it's too graphic in the sense of cannibalism or other nasty business like that. Considered outright skipping this fight if we even saw the info Judgeman would provide... getting older and having new revelations and perspectives on some of these series' hurts my soul sometimes when I read them, but I'm trying since JJK actually does a surprisingly good job in adhering to tradition... would like a little bit more, but when compared to many other attempts, this series is special, to say the least!
I still don't buy the argument, Gege didn't establish anything that would suggest the cursed tool would be revoked first. Sounds like fans just came up with the excuse for him and Sukuna just happens to have the exact thing to avoid his CT getting revoked. It's super convienent and lazy writing.

After that, Kashimo got cut to ribbons and Yuji and Higuruma initiated the jjk jumping. They had no time to think of the interaction.
You are so right. Saying "Why didn't they test it for cursed tools?" is so easy in hindsight. I've seen so many people claim that it should have been obvious to Higuruma that this was a possibility and yet not a single fan predicted this outcome before the 245 leaks dropped. And we readers even knew that Sukuna had the tool while the sorcerers had no clue.

I don't think Hakari would survive Sukuna's domain. He would get instantaniously killed. You have to remember that Gojo stopped healing for a moment and his wounds were not that deep. So the wounds Gojo was healing were not that bad thanks to his CE body reinforcement. Those wounds looks like a normal human got attacked by a bear. If Hakari was in Sukuna's domains the wounds he would have to heal would be like trying to turn back minced meat into the original meat. Even Mahoraga got turrned into dust before regenerating. And i don't think Hakari is more resistant than Mahoraga.
Yeah, I don't think Sukuna had planned for that either, however, aside from the cursed tool, he has the ten shadows, cleave and dismantle, potentially the fire technique and/or the hack box, that's a 1/3 or 1/4 of a chance. And I think that Sukuna could very well fight without either of those CTs, so he feels very confident declaring himself guilty from the start 🤷♂️

Leading into the reveal of Sukunas Cursed Technique.
Honestly i think this was brilliant!! Nobody expected it, why are people judging higuruma for not expecting if readers didnt either. Most of us forgot that cursed tools have techniques.

1. Everybody dies, Yuji lives.
2. Yuji dies, everybody lives.
Every Cursed Technique has its weakness. Plus Higuruma was a Sorcerer for like 1 month trying shit with his Domain Expansion. Domains are the greatest feat in JJK, Higugura is probably just not skilled enough to conrol anything in his domain. If he was stronger or more experienced he might be able to choose the crime and the Technique that gets confiscated. Also Sukuna is a fking genius and knew about the Domain so he probably knew this was gonna happen.
It was said that Judge-Man has all the evidence from Cameras and stuff, so he can't magically know everything.
So there is the possibility that JudgeMan doesnt know Sukunas Cursed Technique, It might not be Cleave or Dismantle but the "Open" and shrine stuff. Maybe there is no Evidence ANYWHERE in the world that reveals Sukunas Cursed Technique.

Like almost as if Gege conveniently had that there to prolong this fight, tbh i would've enjoyed a much longer Gojo versus Sukuna fight one without the ten shadows technique. And what the hell is a weapon doing in a courtroom, i thought it confiscated ct from a user alone.
I still feel like the point about tools is already restricted under the rule of non violence so using that logic it doesn't make sense because in the domain sukuna can't use it anyways so that is already dealt with, so in court that doesn't matter because it won't be used....so then after the verdict sukuna's CE should have been taken because that's literally the top priority, also the verdict should be handed to the accused if wer'e talking about the law here. in real life the verdict doesn't apply to weapons or anything. if it was about the tool there wouldn't have been evidence provided or a hearing done

He could 100% steal kamutoke from sukuna since he could just switch it out of his hand and his ability in general would just be very useful as support. He could just stay at a distance with ui ui and use his hand to clap. Which yuta could have healed his hand anyway...

Canonically RCT cannot heal damage from Idle Transfiguration. Even Sukuna cannot reverse damage to the soul from Mahito.

They had ONE ENTIRE FUCKING MONTH to test his DE. You know, one of the few DE that don't have a sure hit kill effect? The one where they could safely test it on each other and learn all its quirks?
Genuinely, what was the point of the 1 month timeskip? Why did Gege give the cast an entire month where they didn't have to fight and could spend everyday training and planning, if no one did any training or planning? Yuji is the only one we know of, who did ANYTHING in the freebie month.
It's like Gege doesn't even want to write a story, he just wants to go to next fight where a bad guy does some BS.

For real. Yuji's "therapy session" in Higuruma's domain was one of the few remaining things we all (or most) liked, but he ruined the follow up by essentially disabling a literal dummy target. 1st time in a long time he let Yuji having a clutch moment, and he gives Sukuna a more bullshit save than Edgeworth's infamous "updated autopsy report".
I saw a lot defending it with the notion that Higuruma probably never encountered a cursed tool user, but Yuji's trial should have prompted him to consider other outcomes and targets to Judgeman's verdicts. If Angel can pick Takaba as the safest option to beat Kenjaku while keeping Yuta and Maki fresh, she should completely consider what would and wouldn't work with Higuruma, the next best thing after her to shut down Sukuna's powers, who unknowingly revealed how his Domain works to Sukuna, the very being Angel wants to kill.
And I'm pretty sure, even if they were to somehow try and manage to summon the courtroom again, that it wouldn't work solely because of the double jeopardy rule (if Judgeman's previous verdict and this chapter already being a pretrial don't prevent this from happening in the 1st place), or something like that. They better have Phoenix's luck and resistance to survive those next slashes, but perhaps they already have it (Kusakabe and Higuruma somehow withstanding Heian Sukuna's slashes).
It makes sense. JAPANESE legal system is responsible for letting the worst criminals be free in no time. It's known to be corrupt. No wonder Sukuna is favored here by the legal system of Higuruma.
I will say that with all due respect your argument doesn't add up, by your logic Sukuna (a defendant) shouldn't have had Kamutoke in the court to begin with and I mean it should've confiscated BEFORE the trial.
Weapons are siezed upon arrest not when the trial happens.
Sukuna was armed in court, he had Kamutoke in hand, sure no violence is allowed but that doesn't mean he should be armed with weapons.
Lastly not all cursed tools have techniques, Miwa's blade in the Sister School event arc (Todo and Yuji vs Hanami arc) was a cursed tool with absolutely 0 cursed technques.
Also, we have also stated that not all court procedures are present in Deadly Sentencing, Yuji (a 15 yr old child) got sentenced to death.

Just how if a police officer sees someone with a bat and also a gun, which would they confiscate first? Obviously the gun. It just doesn’t make sense to me. & I know you would probably say “Sukunas cursed technique isn’t considered a weapon though”. A Professional Boxer hands are considered weapons because of how good and strong they are with them, just how Sukuna cursed technique is also really strong, so why would his CT not be considered a weapon? Many classical shonen manga's MC gets lots of lucky break and never dies. I am sure many people enjoy those manga and that's fine. I personally don't. Jjk started with certain rules, and Gege tried to explain us the rules of the world he created. I like that. Because that meant even the strong sorcerers can lose. Yet, after shibuya arc, villian start to get lucky break, similar to traditional shonen manga MC. I don't like this. I also don't see why they were necessary for the story. One can claim confiscating cursed tool CT is okay. On the other hand, one can also claim Higuruma's domain should have targeted CT of sorcerer who is on trial, not the curse tool, specially in this case, curse tool was not the crime weapon. Both arguments make sense. I don't like this type of writing. Everyone claims their own interpretation makes sense. This same thing happened in Kashimo-sukuna fight. When i asked, why Kashimo used his CT so early in the fight, some people said he can't dodge cleave. Then i asked, but Sukuna didn't even use cleave? Then they were like, oo yeah he didn't wanna immediately kill Kashimo. Then i am like soooo why Kashimo used his CT while Sukuna clearly not giving 100%? Like some stupid cycle of explanation about what's happening in the manga.. I am okay certain things up to readers interpretation, but not when they affect consistency of the story.
Um if the show came down to a court case, and would be able to kill the biggest guy in the show, it would probably be an entire legal battle for a full year.

I know this might sound a little bit crazy but can't Higuruma expand his DE again and target Sukuna?I know only Hakari can summon his DE as many times as he wants in a day and only Sukuna and Gojo can summon their DE multiple times in a day, But Higuruma's DE is just like Hakari, it is part of his CT and unlike most of the modern DE their DE only have a sure hit effect not sure hit with sure kill. So wouldn't it make sense if Higuruma's DE consumes only half of the amount CE needed to expand a domain with a sure hit and sure kill effect? If Higuruma can pull this off regardless of how light judgeman accuse Sukuna it would result in a confiscation, but that's so convenient and Gege wouldn't allow that lol....
What I think most people fail to realize is that we never get an in depth description of everyone’s power and limitations. Gojos domain when he used it against Jogo for example, from the anime you couldn’t tell if it was because of the area that close to Gojo wasn’t affected, if yuji wasn’t affected because Gojo could pick, or if it’s because he was being touched. Didn’t find out til the sukuna fight.
We don’t fully understand how Yutas power work either.
Up until gojo we didn’t know if the shrine was the center of sukunas domain or not.

If you think Uraume just thinks Hakari is OP because he has insanely fast RCT, well, any human who gets his hands frozen and blow to bits, gets his stomach gouched, and voluntarily breaks his own legs is crazy. Sure there is shock involved and a delay in feeling pain, but it was never stated that Hakari in jackpot don't feel pain. Also, even without the pain, just the mental reaction to being injured is enough to put someone in a state of shock and prevent them from moving. All humans care about their body parts. For Hakari to just up and let it be "destroyed" is inhuman. Our instinct as human is to always protect our body.

Anyway about the cursed tool confiscation thing. Gege obviously planned this from the start. Having higuruma not mention the cursed tool confiscation during his fight with yuuji makes sense as he wouldn't need to tell him that? He didn't even have a cursed tool so there was no reason for this useless (at the time) bit of information to just be thrown at us for no reason back then.
On top of that, sukuna wielded no cursed tools up until like 5 minutes before they jumped into the fight. It wasn't even in the discussion they were having during the time skip, and you can see why they would assume someone as powerful as sukuna would have a cursed tool, I mean he beat gojo without one. I agree with most points however wouldn't angel know about the kamutoke? She's from the hein era and seems to know sukuna no? Surely she would've mentioned something about it or the other cursed tools he used. Let's say she assumed there was no way he could get them back, first doubtful(creation sorcery seems to be well known in the modern era probably moreso in the past eras at jujutsus peak, and perfected if we look at yoruzu as an example) Wouldn't she at least let them know he had them? Am I missing something? And I understand them not thinking of testing Higurumans domain on a cursed tool they may very well need(although Yutaka does have a literal stockpile they could've tested it on) If angel had told them of his full kit or at least what she can see with her eyes i.e his cursed tools,, Wouldnt higuruma being a Japanese lawyer(where gun and weapon laws are VERY strict) at least consider that fact knowing his domain follows the law and we know he's q good lawyer so I feel like if she had even mentioned the cursed tools i.e weapons Higurma would have at least considered confiscation might follow the law as is his domains entire effect?
