I have to say that I loved the video. You make it fun to watch. Hopes smiles from the threshold of the year to come whispering, "It Will Be Happier".- There are far better things ahead then any we leave behind.- Let's walk in to an abundance of clarity, prosperity and health. 🥳
Every time I watch your vids, and I watch several of them several times, I see different things so forgive the questions. Is the blue tape on the square to keep it from sliding?
Happy New Year Sir. I love all the videos my man. I have watched a few of them 3,4,5 times? I don't know. But I have learned so much and have been entertained. I'm new to the leather game and I have jumped in full force. Been doing it a month and have made 11 wallets so far. I'm a self employed carpenter so most of the skills and some of the tools I already had. I just want to thank you for sharing. You are a true artisan.
Another great video! I have been working more on blade smithing lately, but every time I see you pull down a roll of leather I start eyeballing my leather. Lol. Keep up the awesome work!!
Your videos are wonderful. I know you mentioned (or commented) about the 'gel'(?) pad you use when you use the stitching punches. Where could we get one for ourselves?
Always such cool work, slick and professional! I was getting into a slump and that sucked because my plan was to barge into the New Year, so thank you very much for putting creative boot to ass right when I needed it most.
Perfect!! I’m glad I could help. If you ever get stuck, make a quick and sloppy prototype of something with zero pressure and stress. That usually does the trick. And you’ll be surprised how good it will end up being.
As always, amazing video :) I got the Bump jigs and it makes my project's square now :D Thanks for all your videos, tips and tricks, and a happy new year dude!
Forgive the intrusion, but I noticed your website does not offer the "Tamping pliers" (my word for them) that you use when you squeeze pieces of leather together during the gluing process. Thanks!!!! Leather .... no sun hits the leather hides in the racks, so no need to cover from sun exposure (discoloration). And I can see at a glance which hide I need. I have 200+ hides and if they were all inside out, I’d have to do too much reading (hang tags) to find the right shade I’m searching for. In short, efficiency.
I love that design; simple is the best. I've learned so much just watching your videos, so many little tricks that would have streamlined my beginner process but that's all part of learning. One question, I don't see it in the description...what edge bevelers are you using??
Happy new year dude. Another sweet wallet! Any reason you don’t show your burnishing steps? Do you use black edge kote or some other process? Or do you keep it secret on purpose :)
