His wife died a few months ago, and he decided to still keep posting UA-cam videos because he knows that is what she would want him to do. Artie is a great guy and he shares so much information with beginners in the leathercrafting community. I've learned so much from his videos.

What’s crazy is Mascon leather was the reason I started doing leatherwork. I’ve built my own style since then but it’s uncanny how my works resembles his. I’ve done many many projects and I’m only satisfied with them if I can see a little bit of our style in it. If

Artie is amazing and has done so much for the leather crafting community! I don't think he realizes how many people have been impacted by his work. A true artist in his own right!!

I've been eagerly watching this gentleman create his videos for the last 8 months since I got started into leather working. He has become my favorite person to watch and a true inspiration for me to possibly create my own leather craft. Thank you sir

Artie is one of my biggest motivators in leather work. He's done what I aim to do. 25 years of being a paramedic in an urban area, I'm smoked, practicing, aiming to leave EMS, be my own boss, do what I like doing.

@MrFreeGman I'm practicing between full time work. Don't want to do the side hustle until I get better

Your unique style of leatherworking and videos are why I do leatherwork today. I now mix it in with my woodworking and it’s truly elevated my pieces to another level. Keep making cool stuff and inspiring those that watch!

I watch you all the time I think you're amazing.. I am a construction worker I work my butt off every single day.. ever since covid I started watching UA-cam videos and I accidentally stumbled upon leather.. so I made my first belts and I've royally screwed it up but still it was fun.. I too am trying to find bits and pieces.. to become better.. I've only been doing any year-and-a-half.. I'll concentrate on getting first before the Aesthetics.. I ordered the bump Jegs your Genius that is amazing and easy no measuring.. I watch your videos all the time.. please don't stop making them.. one day I hope to meet you.. after all this BS.. thanks again

It’s so weird seeing you you have been my biggest inspiration in leather crafting. This is making me really want to get back into it. Due to a series of unfortunate events I no longer have a shop space and all my tools are packed up and it’s killing me

I am humbled to be the first to comment on Artie's origin story. As another leather crafter with a touch of adding flair to classic lines I find a lot of parallels in our motivations. There is also a patriotic element to bringing back quality associations with American craftmanship. Especially now that the world is turning away from cheap and disposable with a lean toward handcrafted and legacy. I encourage everyone with an interest in Handcrafted Leather goods to spend time watching Arties leathercraft videos. Personally, I never realized how much could be done with brass rivets. Cheers and Blessings from Ann Arbor Michigan.
