i like the electric version, but $4,000 is hilariously out of this world expensive. might as well buy a car instead.
@@BobRooney290 I haven't tried the electric version yet.
I own a Brompton M6R 2018 model. Zero issues so far. 10300 kms. I've replaced the hinge plates, chain, and handlebar grips, nothing else. I don't ride in the rain. I haven't replaced the rear hinge spindle. I was planning on doing that when I reached 10k kms, but I read on their data sheet: "On used bikes, slight play can be expected at the rear hinge; if the play is unacceptable (more than 2mm in either direction, at the rear wheel axle) the rear hinge bushes need to be replaced." and I'm within that limit, so I don't think it's necessary to touch it. Do you agree? how often do you change the triangle hinge spindle and bushes for your customers? Thanks! ❤greetings from Uruguay 🇺🇾
@@lorena.gianoni I consulted my Brompton specialist and they said “ it sounds like the rear frame is fine. We have only had to replace the rear hinge bushings a dozen times in the past decade or so, and we are the main Brompton dealer in the D.C. area. I personally have done it twice, one of the times on my 2002 dumpster Brompton I restored a few years back. As long as the frame is within the 2mm of wiggle, it is fine. We only replace it when the wiggle is more obvious like a happy dog wagging its tail. “
Hope that helps!
@@RideandShineBicycling excellent, thanks!
I know a couple that bicycled the perimeter of the United States on Bromptons. They are incredibly strong folding bikes! Not many 'normal' bicycles can ride with a heavy load that many miles without failure. They had very minor issues and none involving Brompton-specific components.
I'm a mechanic along the Southern Tier and met them 5/8 of the way through their journey as they headed west on the southern border of the U.S.
I will eventually own a Brompton because they truly are amazing.
Wow! I love to hear that. I would like to bump into them. They sound like they have an interesting story.
Brompton just feels like an engineering masterpiece. I love it!
Yes! It’s like those amazing foldable phones. I would love to visit the Brompton factory one day.
I got a Brompton because it had to fit in the boot (trunk) of my MX5 (Miata). I have a 10km (6 mile) ride after I park my car - and it's great.
You are not going to find many bikes fitting in the trunk of a Miata. That's is pretty fantastic.
Oh wow this is great news for me as a Miata ND user
I go with Tern..Bigger wheels is my key decision...No issues at all...
Big wheels can be nice...It came down to a weight issue for me.
For my purposes: Tern D8.
I use it as a part-time touring bike for traveling. The Tern can carry my gear of about 15 Kg, including tent etc. I don't do large tours, I guess 60 Km was the furthest. So it gets me to places. The nice thing is that I can take trains and buses too. And stay mobile everywhere. In 2022, I spent four months in France, Italy and Greece. The Tern is really tough, a little heavier though. But it is a good compromise.
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing.
Tern D8 for me… Larger wheel size and no traveling helped in my decision… The D8 lives in my SUV.
...and the price is easier on the pocketbook. Still, it is hard for me to decide. They both have great qualities.
@@RideandShineBicycling
I agree. I really think Tern is an overall better machine. But I really like the persona around the Brompton and the handmade steel frames.
@@roxy4877 bromptons longevity is famous built in a first world country by people who were trained for over a year to do each process required to make the bike…. Tern made in the sweatshop of the world
We love our folding bikes, they both fit in our SUV to take them to the trails… you have a new subscriber.
Wow! That is always nice to hear. Thanks for joining our biking community.
Brompton with tiny 16 inch wheels makes the first few rides a very twytchy experience. Once you get used to the quick steering it becomes a fun bike to ride.
Yeah..I thought the Brompton was a bit twitchy... for the first 10 minutes, riding it around in the bike shop. After that, when I was used to it, the ability to change direction in a hurry felt responsive, and lively.. like riding a colt instead of a carthorse. Nice.
Smaller wheels are a big help riding on city sidewalks
I feel silly responding to your comment years later. I just must have missed this one.😩 Love my Brompton too.
Brompton! It’s just fabulous. Never had a problem on the TGV train to paris .
We would love to go to that area.
If you live in Northern Virginia or even parts of Maryland and are looking for bikes, you should see what the Bikes of Vienna offer.
Yes! They are not your average bike shop.
I was surprised how smooth and easy Brompton rides. it's surprisingly fast for the size. perhaps the only downside is noisy gearhub.
Yes! You have to get use to that. At first I thought my Brompton was broken. Thanks for the comment.
I bought a Bike Friday New World Tourister about six years ago. I am 5 feet 1 inch tall and it's the best-fitting bike I've owned - got a deal on a custom-made one. Bike Fridays are also made in the USA, in Oregon. The only problem is that the chain falls off when it's folded; maybe that has been re-engineered since I bought my bike. I love having it in my trunk and being able to take a spontaneous ride somewhere on a road trip.
That is such a great idea for your road trips. Aren't the Bike Fridays heavy?
@@RideandShineBicycling I looked up the current NWT at the Bike Friday site b/c I have no idea how much mine weighs I suppose it's the same or similar to today's model: 45 pounds. Is that heavy? I dunno. I don't find it unwieldy. I'm not a strapping person and I have no trouble putting it into the trunk and taking it out.
@@scholasticacooney6830 45 LBS. Seems heavy to me. You must be super strong!
@@scholasticacooney6830 for comparison Bromptons weigh between about 9kg and 12kg depending on spec (or 16kg for the electric versions). That's about 20-26 pounds (35 pounds for electric) in imperial/American units

Glad it was helpful!
I owned Tern many years ago. Now I go for brompton because the folding machanism and light weight are far more real use.
Good to know. Weight is definitely an issue for myself. Thanks for your perspective.
Brompton is not the only foldable for aircraft. The Helix has 23” wheels and fits into airline approved checked baggage (62” overall dimensions - 157 cm). One nice thing about the Brompton with the rack is when collapsed you are not rolling around on the dirty tires when inside. Another on the Brompton is chain is covered by the other wheel so you will not come in contact with the dirty chain. Toolkit and spare tire in frame, etc.
Thanks for sharing that information about the Helix! It's always good to know about other options out there.
It is a perfect bike well designed and excellent quality but with the wrong price although this video shows you how to buy a folding bike from another brand at a much more reasonable price. One thing about brompton bikes that I don't like besides the price are the extras that need to be added like a carry bag, or the handlebar bag, the tools, or the lights, or the luggage rack or the air pump to inflate the wheels, these are basic parts of the bike and are considered extras and you have to pay it separately and also with a super expensive price. It is a bike for rich people. There should be a way to test it before you buy it. Anyway thanks for the video and take care.
This is great additional information. Thank you.
Yeah good but very expensive. M planning to buy 3sixty
Yes for rich people in the superficial sense. The key point is a Brompton can replace a car in many cities. Thus for the right people it’s actually a huge money saver.
Love to know which folding bikes 'come with' a carry bag, handlebar bag and tools - and why would they be 'standard' rather than an add on - think the word you want is choice. The 6 gear Brompton comes with an air pump and as with most brands there are standard models with or without luggage racks (Tern D9 / Reise muller Birdy Touring) - same with Brompton - so the M6R 'comes with' a rack. There is a way to test it before you buy - see the video "2:08 what we recommend is that they come for a test" - and true for all Brompton dealers I have been to.
I am purchasing a tern to ride in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

RR
Sounds wonderful. The Tern I think is too big for the overhead compartment but fine for checking it in it. For the Brompton, you need a Boeing 737 aircraft to fit in the overhead baggage compartment. We have an upcoming video about traveling with your bike. Thanks for watching.
To me the Brompton looks like a little kids bike, without the training wheels. My friend brought a folding electric bike back from Germany many decades ago. It had regular sized tires and folded up quickly and quite small. She's long since sold it, but wish could buy a folding German bike where I live.
Yes! you are so right.. people have told me it looks like a clown bike
Brompton actually rides like a normal bike, even if they don't look like they do, they're such fun !
@@bromptinowner763does it ride with normal speed?

Good information. Thank you.
Trek dual sport 2.
Дякую за ваш коментар! Brompton дійсно ідеальний вибір для Лондона, враховуючи його компактність. Сподіваюсь, ви отримаєте багато задоволення від катання!
Own two Bromptons a B75 and a H6L, wondered what the weight is of the Tern? Is a good review Thanks x
Geez, that wasn't part of the video? That's bad... The Tern weighs approximately 26.7 lb or 12.11 kg. Thanks for asking.
Besides my "LightweightM6LXBrompton" I also own a Makita, folding bike, with a similar fold as the Tern! Heavy, yes, but with two ordinary Makita 18 volt tool batteries as extra power. But when riding it's more easy, of course, with the extra help shown as LEDs on its handlebar, and to be adjusted to your present needs. Its two batteries doesn't last that long, so for longer distances, I would bring some extra!
My Lightweight has presently reached 9 kilo, with a lot of expensive titanium parts bought from mostly China, which may be used also, but beware that Brompton changes part sizes at intervals, so a Chain tensioner isn't just one model!!
Thanks for this good information.
If you want a fast and comfortable bike that almost rides like a road bike go for the Tern P10. You'll also look much cooler than on a dull Brompton.👍
Yes, I got that impression that the Tern was more like riding a regular bike than the Brompton when I was reviewing it. Thanks for adding to the discussion.
You are taunting the Brompton fans... I bet they would want to dispute you. I hear different opinions from different sides. 😅
You are an absolute philistine without any aesthetic appreciation.

That sounds like a great choice for your forest rides! Enjoy your ride.
I loved spotting a Pino in this!
Good eye! I will be posting a video about them at some point. Thanks for watching.
Great video. I love my Brampton’s for portability and comfort.

I was looking at Brompton bikes at REI yesterday. At $2,070 I had no choice but to pass.
Wow! Was that the C-line?
2 speed C line is $1550
I have both: a Tern Link P9 and a Brompton S6R. Both great bikes with nice features. I do very long rides on both and I feel that my Tern has a better ride overall, but it was definitely not an entry level bike when new. It's lighter and the bigger wheels are more efficient. The Brompton is super nice, but the lack of gears is kind of annoying whe you're doing long miles and just can't find that sweet spot between two gears. BUT, I just love my Brompton anyway, sturdy, unbeatable fold, HUGE list of possible upgrades and an amazing support from the brand. I bought my used, made in june of 2015, and yet could register it to my name. A Brompton with a pair of 20's and an Alfine is in my list, to become my only bike.
This is excellent information from a unique perspective. I do agree with you about the gears on the Brompton, it is my one annoyance. I am learning to love my Brompton and all its unique qualities. Also why would you want to change your hub on your Brompton? Thank you for this valuable comment.
@@RideandShineBicycling mostly to fix the issue with finding the perfect gears. Everytime I go for longer rides (80 to 120Km) it gets really annoying, but overall I would prefer to spend more customizing my Brompton than buying another bike
I forgot to mention that is the internal gears hub that I want to change, together with a titanium triangle. Won't be cheap, but after you start to love your ride nothing needs to make too make sense as long as it puts a smile on your face
@@saltinigui I am so glad you said this. I have been wanting to change some parts-the seat post, bolts etc. to make my Brompton lighter. Yes, it is costly for a minimum weight reduction, should I take the plunge? I think yes...it will put a smile on my face. Thanks for your wisdom!

the way prombton fold is amazing it takes no space
I do agree that they are amazing. I just packed up a Brompton in my car and rode on a 20 mile gravel road ride with a Brompton and it was a beautiful ride with no issues.

Great video! Thanks for the info! I would love to have a Tern but too expensive for me
Rovers, Jaguars, and MGs were also engineered in the UK. 😬. Just saying “local” isn’t always better (or worse). Both seem great. Brompton for size when folded, Tern Link for “real bike” ride and (almost) speed.
It's true, sometimes the country of origin doesn't dictate quality. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
When it comes to bicycles, riding performance is more important than folding function.
Yes, I tend to agree! Thanks for your addition.
You are absolutely right!
I have an electric tern and I pulled up next to a guy on an electric brompton. The brompton is a toy. You gotta be nuts to navigate NYC streets with it. I also smoked him when the light changed. Vektron S10. 👍
😅
Bet you didn’t smoke him in folding time 😂
I fly with 20in folders regularly; simply remove the front wheel, pedals, seat. Tern, Dahon, Bike Friday NO PROBLEM!
That is good information!
Bromptons might be expensive but if you are not happy with it you can sell it on for virtually the same price you bought for. Same cannot be said for the Tern.
Wow! It didn't know that. That is great information to know. Thank you.
@@RideandShineBicycling, the poster just invented that information. That’s what’s great about the internet. Everyone makes up whatever they want.
Sell a Brompton for the same price you paid for it?
Huh?
During Covid lockdown I was offered *£350* ($470) *MORE* for my Brompton than I paid for it. And it isn't new anymore. Although I do keep it clean, I have ridden it every day that it didn't rain for the last 2 years, so it isn't exactly in mint condition.

Great video, off topic but I am ashamed to say I dont know how to ride a bike but want to learn and I am considering buying a foldable bike, are foldables good for learners?
Don't be ashamed! You are awesome to want to learn. This is why I do UA-cam videos. I want to empower more people to get out and ride a bike. One of the videos I did was on how to ride a bike. She used a foldable bike to teach how to ride. One of the important points is that balance is more important than learning how to pedal. The bike she used had foldable pedals. So learning on a Brompton by folding up the pedals might work. Practice kicking off the ground and balancing. Being able to fold the wheels up I would think you definitely could learn on a Brompton. When you are ready for pedals then unfold them. You can see how she demonstrated this here. ua-cam.com/video/oulYsTqCLn4/v-deo.html I will also ask a Brompton specialist this question too.
Here is what a Brompton specialist said:
"Yes and no. The low frame and lower center of gravity are a plus, the livelier handling of the small wheels can be a minus. I'd say overall they're no worse and maybe a little better compared to a conventional bike." And another Brompton specialist said: "I have the same opinion. I would like to add that the convenience of being able to take the bike anywhere, and not worrying about locking it up is a plus for new riders."
No one should ever be ashamed of lacking a skill. The people that should be ashamed are those with abilities and opportunities who blow them off to watch UA-cam videos instead. If you are in the US, REI teaches how to ride a bike class for adults and the class is highly rated.
‘
The very low step over height will make learning on a Brompton much less scary for many people
It's 'horses for courses'. A Brompton can be stored in the most miniscule location, even under a desk and taking up the same width as a waste paper bin. The handling is definitely 'twitchy' when you first ride one, but if you get used to it, and then try to ride a mountain bike, it will feel like you are riding the actual mountain.
I have had to do long distances on a Brompton, and at that point, they start to get to get a bit tiresome. Bromptons are perfect for the 'first and last mile' of a commute (indeed, I used to ride to the station, take it on the train, and then ride the last two miles in London, and it was perfect). If I had to ride 4 or 5 miles, I would want something slightly less twitchy and with more gears (i.e., a Tern).
...actual mountain.🤣So far I have limited the Brompton to shorter rides or use it as a vacation bike. It is pretty amazing you can quickly throw it in to the back of the car and be on your way. The ease of it to bring it inside your hotel room oppose to locking it up on a bike rack has taken the worry out of traveling. Thanks for the comment.
It's fun to compete for folding time.👍️👍️I'm trying to fold it in my bike(Tern) in 6 seconds.😊
6 seconds is almost world record.. My time is about 2 minutes. I have long way to go.
Great value, and comfortable to ride
You must be talking about the Tern. Brompton is a little pricey, but it also is a comfortable ride. Thanks for the comment.
Kwiggle is the best for air travel. Hand luggage size (55x40x25 cm) and 10 kg.
Good to know! We do plan on doing some traveling with our Brompton.
It would have been more apples to apples to compare the Brompton to the Tern BYB
Certainly depends on your circumstances.🙃
👍🏼 great video!
Thanks! They are fantastic bikes that have opened up a new world for me.
Being made in the UK doesn’t mean they are better. China makes all kinds of products with different qualities. My DJI drones, golf sticks, iPhone, Bosch battery, and camera lenses were all made in China. Their qualities are second to none.
Thanks for the comment. I didn't want to imply that UK makes better products I think it was just a statement of fact of where each product was produced.
Add Covid-19 which also comes from China and is a robust quality coronavirus second to none.
What!! Are you sure brompton is faster than tern to folding?
The video wasn’t implying that Brompton was faster. It was just stating that it was just folded in record time of 6 sec. You have a good point with the comparison issue of which one folds faster.
Brompton is the bike to go for if you need 1) ultimate foldability; 2) ultimate portability; 3) great engineering; 4) well-integrated baggage options (the front block is essential for this); 5) excellent residual value (after 5 years, the average Brompton will have retained around 75-80% of its value, while the Tern will, essentially, be landfill). Also, it's worth noting that the Brompton has something of a fanatical following, so there are a lot of after-market parts and accessories available to improve weight, performance, looks etc. In short, the Brompton is the better option.
That is great information. Thank you.
@@RideandShineBicycling I get it now. People post nonsense you reply with great news. Now I block your channel. Regards from NYC.
@@frankfurter7260 Good riddance
@nodrog77 all the reasons you've listed are just good NOT to choose the Brompton over any other (good) folding bike, because the others are actual bikes, while the Brommie is a piece of old metal you might just as well buy a jewel and invest in gold or antiques. Yes it rides but it's NOT a proper bike. I've ridden Dahons and the likes for 15 years now daily, well tested Bromptons too, and I do 200 km rides on my biked but i would NOT do them on a Brompton. On a train? Alright, i'll do with just a few centimetres more, well worth the payback
In 5 years the Tern will be Landfill? I've had my Tern Verge X20 for 9 years..and My Tern Verge X11 for 3 years. And both have required very little maintainance. They are made from quality parts. That LAST. The only thing I've had to change on the X20 in 9 years is the tyres, tubes and brake pads.
The Tern Verge X20 is the best folder overall that's ever existed. The problem. Is label slaves think Brompton is all there is for folders
And it's got more credit and obsession than it deserves. Just like Say Rolex gets in the watch world. When there are Others just as good if not better..
I will take the Tern Verge X20 over any Brompton. Its a marvel of engineering and lasting quality. Fast. Climbs hills like they dont exist. And light. With 20 speeds.
15 years on folding bikes. In short:
Brompton folds well and comes short in any other field.
ALL other (good) bikes are proper bikes. You can even easily get multiple front chainrings. The components are mostly those of the big common bikes. You may have to ship them when travelling by plane, but all the rest of the tour will be an actual ride. Nuff said
Thank you so much for your informative comment. I do like the emphasis on 'ALL other (good) bikes are proper bikes'. There are a lot of subpar knockoffs out there.
Sick! Cool.
Your cool too!
You should have mentioned how much quicker the tern is and lighter much lighter.
You are right..and weight is such a big factor for me. In my next review, I will include it. Thanks for pointing that out.
I was just asked to do a review on a 68lb. bike... I can't even lift it. Not sure if that is going to happen.
Is it - which models are you comparing? He states above the Tern in the review is 26.7 lb or 12.11 kg - the Brompton varies (as do the terns) but a popular Brompton such as the M6L which weighs in at around 11.8kg (which is either the one the review or very similar) .. so you'll need to clarify what you mean by 'much lighter'. As for 'quicker' .. who knows - love to see a properly done test
Its such a hard choice... its 2 best options out there
I totally agree with you.
Unless you need absolute maximum portability get a Tern. No disrespect to the Brompton but the tern is a better riding bike and can be gotten less expensive.
I’m Switzerland
The Tern electric bikes (with the Bosch motor) cost more than the Brompton’s. And with good reason too.

Terns’ well documented spontaneous weld failures on some specimensof their bikes a few years back will keep me from ever purchasing one of their bikes even if they have corrected corrected that safety issue.
Also the history behind Tern bikes origin as a company isnt my cup of tea either. Just my opinion.
Brompton is an amazing bike…16” wheels and all. We own two of them.
Interesting. Thanks for the comment.
On that theory I guess you can’t fly any airline that uses Boeing planes. 🧐
@@frankfurter7260 did you notice I said “me” in my comment? You are free to buy/ride any bicycle or fly in any aircraft you wish to.
I mostly see Bromptons, Terns are rare. Toronto, Canada and now Liege, Belgium.
It's interesting how certain bike brands dominate in different regions!
Brompton is 16" while the Tern is 20," am I correct?
I think it's like comparing apples and oranges.
It just depends on what ride experience you are looking for.
yes, correct. But both of those units can be misleading as there are at least 2 "20-inch" and 2 "16-inch" tyre and rim sizes. Better to go with the unambiguous ISO (formerly ETRTO) numbers, which are 349 for the Brompton and 406 for the Tern (the other "20-inch" size is 451 and the other "16-inch" size is 305). The two "16-inch" sizes are mutually incompatible and a 305 tyre will not fit a 349 rim. The same goes for the two "20-inch" sizes
Why are people so concerned about how long ìt takes to fold a bike? Be more concerned about how fast it can move and how it feels to ride.
The Tern Verge X11 smokes any Brompton. If you want to do a proper premium comparison. For a 2k bike.
Brompton will always be the best folder for portability. But not everyone needs to take a bike on a plane or bus.
And with a bike like an X11 you can go as fast as a bus. So you won't need to worry about getting on one. My X11 averages 22mph. And I've hit 30mph on it in the right conditions. They call it light speed for a reason.
That is a great point! Thanks.
a good buy for the cash
❤️❤️ Brompton #1👍
Love it. Thanks
I have a Tern Verge X11. With only 10 kg it's very light! Also there are high-end components on this bike! It's super fast and climbs any hill very easy. Also it folds very easy and is small enough to fit anywhere you need it. The Bromptons look terrible in my opinion and so far i have not seen one biker that can can keep up with my Tern! And the prices of the Bromptons are insane and not justifiable in any way!
We have had positive opinions on both sides. It is quite interesting. The Tern has a bigger wheel that could help with the speed. I think the Brompton justifies its price due to it all being handmade. Thanks so much for your perspective. I have ridden both on different terrains one can be better than the other in different situations.
Nice to know - perhaps tone down the volume a bit - on the other hand why not go for it and put it in CAPS as well to add to the exclamation marks!

I don't know, if the ride experience was the most important factor I wouldn't be looking at a folding bike.
It's true that ride experience varies with different types of bikes. Folding bikes can be quite versatile, though!
Can you roll a folded Tern bike?
Yes! It does seem a little easier than a Brompton too.
@@RideandShineBicycling Thank you!
Shout out to the super cute girl ❤️❤️
Thanks!

@@RideandShineBicycling how much price bike
@@karimmohamed5687 Tern can run about $600 and up and the Brompton runs about $1600 and up. If you saw my Brompton purchasing video at the end I go over all the extras I bought and the price I paid for the Brompton. $2000. Prices definitely can vary.
@@RideandShineBicycling haw in euro ?
@@karimmohamed5687 Sorry that was in dollars, but I think the ratio is close to 1 to 1.
Where is American manufacturer of plane ready bikes. Known as Bike Friday. Not overpriced as Brompton and even Tern have become.
Thanks for bringing up Bike Friday!
Brompton
woohoo! for the Brompton
The BYB isn't as comfortable as the Brompton for me. Plus it's not as good for narrow city streets and sidewalks
That is an interesting comment. Thanks for that perspective.
If brompton had a belt drive, it would dominate. Alas.
That is a very creative statement! 😂
20" wheels is always better than 16" wheels
Not if you are traveling on a plane.🙃
@@RideandShineBicycling Base on your logic than you should get a 5 inches wheels. I flew with my tern all the time with my problem.
@@havenht That is great information to know. Thank you. I think with me personally it comes down to weight.
_"The fastest fold ever recorded was just under 6 seconds."_
In point of fact: No. Here is a Bromtpon fold in 4.44": ua-cam.com/video/Z-SRASKLqh8/v-deo.html
Wow! Wow! Wow!
@@RideandShineBicycling Quite! 😎 (until I saw this fold, I thought I was quite fast!! Nope.)
The Tern is a fine bicycle... until you want to fold it up.
At first folding it up is like solving a puzzle. But eventually you get the hang of it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Not accurate video. The folding time depends at the person ho do it. My opinion is better the Tern , DaHon etc.
Yes, I agree it does depend on who folds it. I am unbelievable slow at folding it.
This is a Brompton add. Buyer beware. Tern is next level. Dont get small dia wheels. Larger rides lots better. Brompton is overpriced for what it is.
No, it is not an ad. We do not represent either of the companies. We are giving a fair analysis of both bikes. In fact, We like them both it just depends on what you will be doing with each of the bikes.
Tern is best
There’s great folding bike companies from Singapore that should be reviewed like birdy and Mobot bikes great competition to brompton and about the same price wise if not a little less
Thanks! We will look into it.
Tern are made in Taiwan.
Taiwan is part of China, so we are both right. Thanks for the comment.
@@RideandShineBicycling Taiwan is a separate country.
Bias
For which one?
@@RideandShineBicycling The Brompton, OBVIOUSLY.
@@guidofv 🤷♀
i'd buy a china made "brompton" for significantly lower price
Maybe not cost effective over time when it falls apart while riding and you wind up in the hospital.
@@frankfurter7260 i did my research and this brand is pretty solid n quite popular. In my country its the currency exchange which makes the brompton so expensive, the quality is pretty much the same as china made bikes
I feel silly responding to your comment years later. I just must have missed this one.😩 I had one too. It has held up just okay.
Tern hinges are breakable plastic that can't be replaced
This is what is called fake news. I have a Tern Vektron S10. LOL that the hinges are plastic. What a stupid comment.

OMG! You are so great!
which tern model is that?
I think that model is Link A7.
