Hi Willy- These aren't designed as a multi-use bait. Here is SoCal, you have to pay upwards of $40 for a frozen flying fish. At just under $13, this works out to be quite a bit cheaper in the long run.

This is a little fucked up ain't it ? Stabbing a needle and a hook threw a live fish then dragging it behind a boat ? I'm all for live bait fishing but this is kinda animal abuse
