Hi mate, I've just fitted a new motor & paddle, like you're showing, plus I descaled the plate heat exchanger with spirit of salts for around 45 minutes. It wasn't particularly dirty tbh. I reassembled everything & hot water is only reaching 30°c max, with a slightly reduced cold water supply!! Any ideas please. I am Gas Safe registered👍
@@ddrepairs Hey brother! Yes, ch warming up a little. I've removed diverter motor & tried moving metal paddle 1 way, then opposite. hw not improving significantly, but it was 26/27°c, then increase a little when I reduced the flow at the stop cock in basement.. (2" deep water underfoot btw!!...Yes I always check pipework is electrically sound👍😉 Forgotten to mention, I replaced the flow turbine holder, which attaches to heat ex & cold a in, because it had a pinhole. I managed to re-use old turbine, which had no damage, when I removed from old holder. Thanks for your contact man, appreciated.
@@ddrepairs No worries man!! I reduced the flow rate on mains stop cock. At least they're getting 55°c on hot water now. Anything else goes on the boiler & I'll replace it. I contacted you, because your boiler was identical apart from kw output, but has exactly the same diverter valve, motor, plastic manifold assembly etc. They produced them for a short while, then reverted back to brass assemblies.....for obvious reasons!!😖 😀
Wonderful video. Thank you for all this information and help

Any heat coming through the rads when you have the HW on?

I'm guessing you don't have an answer to this problem😁
Sorry, without being there I don’t know but sounds like your pump is bust or a flow problem through the HE to me
