‘My ideal logic combi boiler isn’t giving me hot water’ intermittent hot water fault no fault code

Ideal logic combi boiler no hot water was the fault, customer said it was intermittent and would go hot and cold…
First thing you may thing would be the plate heat exchanger but in this video we can see what we need to be looking at and what effect it has..
managed to get this back on and working for the customer with a decent van stock

Would it still be the same problem if its just the water but the heating works fine and the hot water comes through when heating is activated?
