we bought this grill but we are having trouble getting the green propane tank to attach to it. is there some trick to get it to thread?
No should thread in easy, check tank threads for dents or misalignment.
just bought one and noticed you put the steak on the griddle section in the middle. I was thinking it'd cook with more flame-taste on the open parts along the edges. Maybe not though:)

How do you keep the grates from rusting?
They’re cast iron, season well and they’ll be non stick and never rust.
