Love the love you've been giving Skillet! There's some great headbangers in their 2005 album, Collide: "Forsaken", "Savior", "Open Wounds", "My Obsession", "Collide", "Fingernails", "Imperfections", "Energy", "Cycle Down"... granted, that's practically the whole album lol Maybe look into making it your next full album reaction!
Comatose Comes Alive easily has the best versions of those songs tbh. They were a whole different band back in those days. Fans who only know 2021 Skillet are the same kinds of people that made fun of 2005-2008 Skillet fans lol
Same for Thousand Foot Krutch, they were nearly proper nu-metal back in the Set It Off days. They went more pop punk real quick, but it was still way heavier than anything they do now.
@@coleG112 Loved that live album... their throwback to "Best Kept Secret" was fantastic! TFK's sound has definitely evolved, "Welcome to the Masquerade" is a great listen all the way through, but 2003s "Phenomenon" is a blast to go back to

Collide came out in 2003, and was released in 2005. Comatose was then released in 2006.
@@simkani3294 Collide and Alien Youth will always be my favorite Skillet albums, because of the childhood memories I have with them. My older sister introduced me to Skillet when I was in 6th grade in 2006 by giving me those two albums.

Yeah I meant what I said about it being powerfull, around the time this song came out, not to go into too much detail but I was in a real dark place mentally. This song, and especially the chorus hit me hard, along with that heavy sound, just a great song that kicks ass, but also affects me emotionally.

Time to go old school Within Temptation. Pale is a haunting perspective song as someone is dying, trying to build enough strength to say goodbye before the angels take her. Slow, haunting, gorgeous.

This is my favourite song from the victorious album!! I grew up listening to skillet all my life so it makes me sooo happy to see reactors just fall in love with them haha.

Love some Skillet. Been listening to them since the beginning. Love all their songs. When are you back to Starset? You seemed to really like them.
I went back and watched some of you old Skillet reactions, and I loved how excited you were when you learned that Jen Ledger was both the drummer and one of the singers. If you liked her sound, you should react to some of her solo stuff. She put out a solo album in 2018 with some pretty good songs, as well as a few solo records in the years after.

You definitely need to check out the band IMMINENCE . Especially their newest song, but also the whole "Turn the light on". They become one of my TOP 3 favorite Bands within just a few weeks. Keep your Content up man lets go

This band needs to be saved every album.
Skillet is one of my favorite bands as they really rock and the lyrics have merit. Another band I would like to recommend is an older band that has stood the test of time, and even though there was a time which they quit, they have returned and are as strong as ever if not better. Initially rocking in the early 80's with the hair metal, I dare say they can play guitar with the best of them if guitar is your thing, not saying they are the best, but do good in their own right... The band I speak of dawns from the Yellow and Black attack and is called Stryper. They have a different sound than Skillet, but still bring a solid message with a more metal sound. One of their latest songs called "Do Unto Others" is a good sample of their music, and has a message any listener can appreciate. As for the future Skillet Songs, I agree that Victorious, Rise, Undefeated are good songs. God Bless and Keep on Rocking.
