Mayhem fest was killed, along with a couple other big rock and metal festivals, and Coachella is usual mostly mainstream and old legendary acts that are going to draw crowds regardless of the musical landscape..... One thing I'll give Europe in general.... Allot more open on musical variety.... America's just busy trying to cram generic crap through the airwaves
@@wet_weather_imp no it's huge. The Brit Awards is very pop and mainstream based. There's been legitimately no rock music played at the awards ever, nevermind one that involves screaming. It is ridiculously main stream and catered to those in suits and ties.

You have to go full screemo at the end tho. 🤣🤣 I'm a huge fan of both so this blew me away. Saw BMTH last sept. Then Seeing Ed this year in Leeds. My god be like the best day ever if BMTH make a suprise appearance for this song.
I hope he does more metal collabs. His clean vocals work so well with metalcore/post-hardcore, and as the video showed, he’s got the guitar skills to pull it off too.

Ed is actually a huge metalhead. He loves Slipknot and BMTH, and has talked about doing an album with Dani Filth.
Ed Sheeran has stated in interviews that he grew up listening to everything from "Metallica to Cradle of Filth" and even learned Cradle of Filth songs on guitar. Dani from CoF has even talked to Ed about a possible future collaboration.

i was very happy the day i got to see BMTH live when they came to South Africa for RAMfest in 2013
Have to say I like it more every time I hear it.
I had already forgotten, but Sheeran also said this in an interview last summer: “I was really into death metal as a kid, I listened to Cradle of Filth and Slipknot and all that stuff. I learnt all those riffs on guitar as a kid. That’s something I’ve never thought about doing - but something I would not be opposed to creating.”
Dani Filth apparently agreed to do a collab as well, very curious if we'll ever hear anything of that.
