I've always understood Galatians 3:19 as the law being given to restrain sin, ever since I first read Galatians in the Greek. At that time I knew nothing of Enoch or the Watchers, but that link definitely makes sense! I think it was a Lutheran pastor from whom I heard that the law wasn't meant to save (individual) people but was a "hedge" or "wall" to preserve a remnant people until and from whom Christ came; all this makes sense of that.

In the 90's a movie came out called "city of angels". It was thought provoking as it was about watchers, one deciding to fall because he was fascinated by a woman.
From what I understand, Sunday isn't actually the sabbath. There's been so many shenanigans regarding our days and calendar it's mixed everything up. As I understand it, Saturday used to be the sabbath. Which aligns with how we used to Sunday as the first day of the week. And then there's how the calendar was changed, and nobody thought it would be a good idea to record the day of the change so we could have an unbroken timeline. Also, and this is the wildest part, Christ apparently wasn't born on the 25th of December, but on the first of April. The whole "April fools" thing was supposedly implemented as a way to mock and attack Christ. We have no way that I've seen of proving any of these things one way or the other. But what I've described does seem to make more sense. I mean, being born in the middle of winter in a barn... Sure God could keep the barn at a safe level of warmth... But it seems odd. And April is part of the spring time. And we know how lambs are associated with spring. I imagine if God was to send his lamb, he'd see the poetry of sending him in spring. As for the sabbath, I feel like it isn't just coincidence that the 7th day was Saturday, and it got named after Saturn, which has links to the enemy. It's like they intentionally took over the sabbath and named it after their "god" to both prevent it from being observed and to mock God.

Hi! This is awesome! Something caught my attention the covering of women because of the angels. Are these the watchers the Bible is referring to and why does a woman cover because of them?
Hi! Glad you liked the teaching. Yes, I do believe there is a connection between the head covering and the sin of the watchers in Genesis 6. Here is Dr. Heiser’s teaching on that very issue: ua-cam.com/video/rvtvfk0P3QA/v-deo.htmlsi=nPaJC38CkDkhNSwD Whether or not you agree with Dr. Heiser’s view, I think you are correct in linking Gen 6 and the head covering
Moses name appears 789 times in the Bible, including 79 in the NT. 12 mentions of Enoch, 3 in the NT. Did Jesus and the Apostles also miss the significance of Enochian revelation and overemphasized Moses? Many extra biblical texts are cited. The NT prioritizes and emphasizes the sin of Man and sins of each man, also nearly all Christians would acknowledge the massive significance of the rebellion of Satan/Spiritual beings/ demons et al, and their temptation of and influence on mankind. And ultimately, for me at least, this is interesting to gain knowledge but not particularly edifying.
Jesus, otherwise known as Jehovah, inspired the Bible writing through His Holy Spirit into the minds of the men (prophets) that wrote it. He revealed Himself to humans in advance of His incarnation as a human so we would know of Him. Do you think he could have missed His own revelation to humans? What you are calling "Enochian revelation" is nothing more that satanic lies, fake books.
Well, the Bible doesn't say. Jewish tradition says that Adam and Eve had 33 sons and 23 daughters. But the Book of Jubilees (IV:1) says that their first daughter was named 'Awân, and the second daughter was named 'Azûrâ (IV:8). 'Awân became the wife of Cain; Abel married 'Azûrâ Figured I’d answer your question because when I first saw it was cool. Josephus in Antiquities mentions the daughters but not their names. Also many people believe Adam was the first to come under covenant therefore making him in Gods image, yet there were many living humans on the earth. I’m not doubling down here just figured I’d show you a few answers. The first paragraph was copied and pasted.

The so-called Watchers have absolutely 0 to do for how evil entered the world, as claimed by the author of this video. The Bible tells us on Genesis 3:4 that "the serpent", or Satan appearing as one, deceived Eve to disobey God by saying: "You will surely not die", we know the rest of the story starting with the next recorded great sin of Cain murdering his brother Abel. Before that, Lucifer, a perfectly created cherubin covering angel (a very exalted position as leader of the angels) grew jealous of Jesus when he was not invited into the decision that the Son and the Father made to create man, God alone can create and therefore could take decision. So Satan rebelled against God and determined to destroy man, and he still is at it - ISA. 14:12-15.. Reading mystical or romantic folklore and attributing it to God's truth as written in His scriptures is a dangerous sin to our salvation.
Don't be so silly. Try to pay attention to what Heiser was saying. Heiser does NOT claim that sin entered the world through the watchers. Furthermore, those you refer to as "so called" were called out in Daniel 4:17 of the KJV, so tell it to the writer or translator of Daniel...
Who is to say he was not? A lot of depictions of Cain show him much bigger and larger than Able. Also, even if he was not, not all Nephilim were giant in stature. Nephilim can mean both “giants” and “fallen ones”
@houstonharris3732 Do the offspring of the Angels have a spirit created by God? Then, it becomes a soul. Or is it newly becoming into existence without an eternal spirit ?
@doug7180 I have this same question. Truthfully, all my questions have been answered except this one. If we take into account all the souls that have passed through this life, we are talking about an insane (for lack of a better word) amount of souls. I’m leaning toward the answer to your questions being “No.” The reason I lean this way is because God was very strict about the bloodlines mixing. We know it needed to be a pure bloodline in order for Christ to be born. So it almost seems like the offspring of fallen angels may prevent a soul from coming into the flesh? Like if the bloodline would have been corrupted, Christ would not have been able to manifest into the flesh? I ask myself this same question. It would explain a lot though, why God was so adamant about the bloodline and it would also explain satans motives in the Garden, in my opinion impregnating Eve.
Those men are what we call the Apostles and the others the Holy Spirit chose to be His writers. Dr. Heiser is just addressing the question of what was in their minds when they wrote because what was in their minds tells us a huge part of what they meant! The other side of that is that he is addressing what the writers' readers would have been thinking, which tells us what the message was when it was written.
This is so helpful. Dr Heiser's contribution is a treasure.
