Cool to see this tucked away show before the band started to slowly but surely disintegrate. Chris was irreplaceable and sadly all good things must come to an end. Miss that dude...such great songs and insight that's lacking in music. Although he moved on, he left behind a great legacy.
This makes me miss Chris DeGarmo even more!

I stumbled on this early this morning and it made me so happy! My Bestie moved to New Mexico a couple years ago and I went to visit her in August of this year (2023). The VLA is one of the places that we visited while I was there. It's a really weird place in the middle of Nowhere, but really cool. I was so excited to see my favorite band ever sitting on the very same guardrail being interviewed thank I has sat on!. I know..what a geek. Love it thanks for sharing!
back when Queensryche was on mainstream music channels...... those times will never come back, it sucks

Повторяя "Sign of the Times" потянулся рукой причесывать волосы - это происходит машинально, когда вокалист уже сам не верит в ценность собственной музыки и\или устал от отсутствия разнообразия в ней. Особенно стоит учесть, что в этот момент он повторял эту фразу снова и снова в контексте трэка. Сами вляпались в гранджевый саунд, сами приуныли и перессорились. Молодцы.
Откуда такие знания у вас, жалко что этот гранж загубил металл и загубил классные группы и все из за денег, что на гранже начали зарабатывать хорошие бабки....
Unfortunately it's was all about DeGarmo & Tate. When DeGarmo left, Tate didn't have the talent to carry it on his own. The others are passengers. DeGarmo tentatively tried to come back during the Tribe sessions, but Tate wouldn't go back to the old 50/50 arrangement as Tate thought he could carry it on his own. Tate felt dissed when DeGarmo left, DeGarmo thought the band would split when he left.
This is #QUEENSRYCHE.
Geoff doesn’t seem too happy here
Such a fool am I... I thought those backing vocals were all real... They've had them running on an ADAT machine as far back as 1991!
Try going back further. They’ve been using tapes, sequencers, samplers and synths since Rage For Order in 86. They are great at hiding it on stage there’s no tape racks or even guitar effects racks. Everything is so clean

You can hear it in Chris' voice .. he's so sarcastic and cynical in this epk... He's given up by this point.
And we all knew what Chris meant by a stripped down queensryche cuz not long after he walked out
stripped down literally..their record label went tits up during their tour leaving the band holding the bag..can't blame Chris for saying 'fuck this, I'm out' lol
It was his vision....being stripped down.
Chris knew when to exit. The "Geoff Tate: featuring Queensryche" years always bugged me. As much as the fans love and miss him. I'm glad the boys are back on track as a metal band again, releasing great albums and scorching live performances.
Tate ruined the band with his EGO!!
